This place is bomb! Awesome food, I tried the campechana, normally in other establishments I always find myself adding ketchup, lemon, and tapatio, for more flavor. However… In this place there is no need for that!!! How awesome is that! The shrimp tacos are also bomb. It’s a must if you love seafood.
The quality of the food takes over anything, so I’m not going to give them any less stars simply because they are not extra fancy or in a nicer neighborhood.

This place kicks butt. The shrimp tacos are very tasty. I usually get 4. Once in a while I get the super mixta ceviche. It is bomb! They get the food out quickly. One more thing: cash only baby. The long line goes by quick. I think these fish tacos and tacos baja are neck and neck. Cant go wrong.

best crunchy shrimp tacos ever!!! they mix shrimp, avocado, and salsa and make the perfect hard taco!!! their tostadas de camaron… beyond delicious… definetly worth it

To start off I wouldn’t even put a a star on this review. Idk even know how they have 5 stars! There food to start off is not all that! I love hard dorados shirmp tacos but here NOT GOOD! The customer service here is horrible too, the ppl working there are bad they only give you one salsa for one big cocktel de camaron! I was pregnant craving a cocktel de camaron I ordered a big one and I only got 4 shirmps!!! Like really ?? And it was a large !!! The guys working there are so rude they help for nothing don’t even provide you with napkins!

when i got a new job at garfield hs i asked my students where i should have lunch and the pointed me to el jato. also when you order the tacos they come in a five pack which is more than enough for a great lunch. also the mixta tostadas are pretty bomb

Tried this mariscos food truck today for the first time. I got the tacos dorados de camaron… the tacos were ok not bad but not great. I prefer the tacos dorados de camaron at Mariscos El Bigoton. I was stuffed after the tacos so I didn’t try anything else. But based on the tacos I’ll stick with Mariscos El Bigoton.

Omg! The best hands down! I live a couple blocks away, been going to this truck since I was little. These Shrimp tacos are just So GOOD! Especially after a long night of drinking. Lol the prices aren’t bad either. Friendly workers and fast service. They’re always in the same spot. You gotta try this truck!

Very fresh and delicious. Highly recommend their shrimp hard shell tacos and super mixta which has octopus, shrimp, crab, ceviche… the works. Highly recommend.

My friend told me about this place for sea food and there shrimp tacos… doesn’t look fancy like the other hip lunch truck… But the food is mighty tasty… I will for sure come back again…
