The staff accommodates my detailed orders with a smile and I love the marinara sauce. I eat here two or three times a week and have done so for the almost two years and will continue to do so.

Not your typical italian food joint. Wont’ be back, Cashier took long time to take my order. It also took long to receive my order as no one was checking the order feed. There are like 4 employees in the kitchen and finally after 10 mins one of them decided to check the order feed and started preparing my order. You get a really small pasta portion for the price. Not really worth it Also the pasta dishes are suppose to come with bread-sticks. Their bread-sticks made me laugh. It’s merely a half of bread-stick portion and it’s sliced into 3 – 4 tiny pieces so it looks like it’s more, lol. Won’t be back.

Update: Quality plummeted in a short amount of time. Water-logged broccoli stems and few broccoli crowns. Plus, they raised the price. Huge disappointment!

Food is kind of generic but okay. Soda wasn’t good. No fizz and so warm that even a lot of ice didn’t make it cold — just watered it down. They need to get a better machine.

Like most food in dtla… it kinda sucks. THe food is fast so i like it. This is located on 2nd floor in city national buidling, next to mcd’s. The lasagna was decent. It’s better than stouffers but suckier than the average ristorante italia. The pasta, or ravioli is definitely Chefboyardee or comprable. Did i forge tanything? shruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuug

Sad lasagna… Not even a single layer of pasta, some canned mushrooms, cheese and drowning in sauce.

I didn’t even know this food court was down there until today! My friend wanted McDonald’s and I noticed Mangia and went in. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan on ciabatta and a side of fries. It was really good. I’d definitely recommend it for lunch.

Really good pasta and pizza. It’s fast-food Italian… don’t expect it to be fancy. Huge fan of the fettuccine polo – spinach fettuccine with chicken in cream sauce! Chicken has a really good citrus flavor(surprising quality for a styrofoam bowl). Pizzas are also surprisingly good.

Ridiculously overpriced and tiny portions. If you work in the area, the food is decent if you absolutely have to have a bowl of pasta and can’t afford the time to walk two blocks to CPK. But be warned– you will walk out of there with an empty tummy and $ 15 less in your pocket. I added one star because the staff is great. Pasta is made to order but is still served quickly.

I go for their vegetarian minestrone! It’s really good. The garlic bread isn’t that great but it’s okay.

I went in for a sandwich and it wasn’t impressive. It was my first time but the cashier didn’t tell me that I had to pick and choose my toppings like veggies, cheese and sauces. So basically I ended up with chicken and bacon and tomatoes between focaccia bread… I would prefer subway any day over their sandwiches. Can’t speak for their pastas and pizzas.

Nope. Not going here again. The marinara sauce was so watery that the paper bag was dripping by the time I got to work which is a 2minute walk. Absolutely no salt in the food.

Love this place, went here for the first time yesterday and got a foccacia sandwich and fries! Very tasty, and nice clean spot in the 505 Flower st complex. I wanted to also say that the person that served me Adrian M, was outstanding customer service. Really made my lunch a treat and refreshed me in the middle of a long work day! Thanks guys!

This place is alright for fast Italian food. It isn’t the greatest but it will do if you are in a pinch. However, I agree that the price is a little steep for what you are getting. I have had the pasta here a few times and each time the pasta has been cooked al dente but still nothing really to rave about. The portions are decent and the staff is friendly.

Mmmmmmeh. I work a 1 minute walk from this food court, but Mangia Mangia is not a destination eatery for me. I mean, it’s nice that it’s here… but if it weren’t I wouldn’t miss it. It’s rather pricey for a place that serve their pasta on styrofoam bowls. I mean that’s not why this place is just average, but it certainly doesn’t help. I had the farfalle with pesto, and honestly, it was pretty good. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the pesto sauce was creamy but it didn’t overpower the flavor of the pesto itself. It came with 2 pieces of delicious, warm, soft flatbreads. I liked dipping the bread into the pesto sauce — super tasty. But I paid basically 10 bucks for a bowl of pasta that consists of just bowties and pesto sauce… and bread. If I wanted a protein with it, it would be a few bucks extra. Not really worth it in my opinion. I usually don’t complain about food prices but that’s because the food is usually worth the high price. This one isn’t. Too simple, maybe a little boring or lazy. But the flavor is good, I’ll give em that. 3 stars, a-ok.

This place is underground at the 505 in DTLA across the street from the LA Library. There’re plenty of eats down here with also a Gold’s Gym if you’re feeling like a fat ass after eating at the mostly unhealthy fast foods down here(with the exception of Lemonade). Anyhow, I ordered a Margarita pizza to-go and they gave me a cheese pizza. I would’ve been ok with that normally but their cheese pizza wasn’t even good which is, to me, pretty sad. How can you mess up cheese pizza?! Unless their version of a Margarita pizza was a Margarita pizza with tons of cheese and nothing else(aka cheese pizza) and their cheese pizza was just more cheese. I might’ve given them three stars if only they had given me the correct order but I honestly don’t want to even try their Margarita at this point. Pretty disappointed but not surprised nonetheless. Parking: None Price: $ 7-$ 13 per person Wait: 5 mins after ordering

Do you want to know why they get a low rating? Not for their food but for their service. I went down for lunch today on recommendation from a co-worker. I order the spinach fettuccine chicken. I got the Vodka rigatoni. It’s my fault because I read the reviews below and saw the same complaints. I should have checked my receipt to ensure the order was correct, I was just more concerned that the price was correct. Anyways the food was good. Reasonable price for the portion but I had my heart set on that spinach fettuccine! Grrr

Great lil’ lunch place inside Arco plaza food court(under City National building). We often come to this food court for lunch and I always find myself coming back to Mangia Mangia! It’ a great lunch spot that has reasonable prices for the amount of food you get. I always order the meat & veggie pizza + house salad + drink combo for only $ 6.50, it’s a great price! Their italian dressing for the house salad has very nice flavor and the pizza is very good! Not too oily with a crispy crust, just the way I like it! Oh and their in-house made iced tea is quite good as well!

Aww, why the low reviews? Contrary to popular opinion, I really like Mangia Mangia. I think it’s a great lunch spot. They have fantastic prices and the food is solidly above average. The menu offers a wide array of items, including pizza, pasta, salad, sandwiches as well as chicken and fish entrees. Except for a large pizza, everything is under $ 10! I gravitate towards hot meals so I usually order pasta or pizza. My favorites are the Farfalle Pesto(omg, the pesto sauce is so creamy and delicious), Rigatoni al Vodka(slightly sweet and rich vodka sauce), or Capellini Pomodoro(angel hair pasta with fresh tomatoes, garlic and basil in a light marinara sauce). All just $ 7.95; $ 1 extra to add chicken. As for pizzas, I usually order the 10″ vegetable with cheese. They use tons of veggies that get all roasted and juicy. It’s only $ 7.95 and half is plenty filling so I always have leftovers! The Mangia Pizza Combo is an excellent deal when I’m craving a light lunch — slice of any pizza(inc combination pizzas!), side salad or soup, and a drink for just $ 5.50! For take out, I call in my order so there’s no wait time. :)

Nice daily pasta specials, rather large sandwiches and a pizza combo for $ 6.50. Quick easy lunch downtown.
