Very nice, clean cozy restaurant. We had Chicken Siopao(steam bun), Chicken Sotanghon Soup, Special Mami and Savory Chicken for Togo but since it smells so good, we ate too! The noodles in the Mami is really good! The have other items in the menu. Will definitely come back to taste it!

Mami King used to be in a different location and they were better then. Their cooking is no longer consistent. The siopao no longer has the same quality, the bun is dry and flat. Not the way siopao would be if done right. The Savory chicken now only relies on the sauce to enjoy it’s famous taste, it has become overcooked at most times.

Spent $ 9 something today on 2 bola bola and 1 mini pack of pork siopao and it was so DRY. It didn’t taste fresh at all :( My boyfriend kept on saying I don’t know why you liked it in the first place. Lol, I swear the one I had 2 days ago was so delicious.

Best beef mami around and best pork asado to supplement. I grew up with this and will always look to it as comfort food. Glad that it moved from the super shit location across Walmart into this smaller spot so I can take my kids lol. Parking sucks but it’s better than fearing for your safety. Classic combo is a beef mami bowl and 2 asados. No frills or fancy shit just perfect home cooked tasting beef mami.

Got to hang with the taste of pinoy foods. Special mami, tokwat baboy and goto. Superb!!! And what is great in this filipino restaurant is the customer service of the staff… The smile, hospitality and they are very attentive with their customers. Trixie has a great personaility. Jelly and trixie has a good team work… Have to try this pinoy restaurant and you will greeted with kindness.

Came here for lunch at 1pm and it was pretty busy. Excellent customer service and ample parking. Ordered Beef Mami and MK Chicken plate. It was really good and we ordered miki bihon to go. The mami broth was very tasty and not oily. I loved that they used very little salt! I’m definitely coming back. One of the best Filipino restaurants in the valley.

Came here for a quick lunch with the fam on a Tuesday & there was no wait. score! I like this place, i’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Really good Filipino«dim-sum.» I like the Siomai $ 2.50 for 2 pcs: really good and not chewy and fatty like other places. perfectly steamed & bomb with some soy sauce & lemon juice on the side. The Siopao here is good! I always get the Asado(Pork) or Bola Bola. if you are not familiar with Siopao, let me warn you that the Asado kind is a sweet & saucy meat mixture inside of a steamed white bun. My man hates this stuff as he thinks sweet & meat should never go together. I’ve also tried their Special Mami: thin noodle soup in a beefy broth, a couple wontons and some beef pieces. It’s good, the noodles are cooked al dente and not mushy like some ramen places I’ve been too. However, I didn’t really like the wontons in it. The price for the soup of 7.95 is a bit pricey but comparable with most places serving soup at that size. Customer service wise this place is great. The lady at the front was so nice and welcoming & always made sure we had water and were okay.

I came here in January with my parents and I was kinda disappointed. The tables weren’t clean. And the interior was just dirty in general. I got a weird vibe from the waitress. But the food was good don’t get me wrong. Then a few months later I came back again with my family and I noticed a huge difference! The place was a lot cleaner. Our waitress this time was very sweet. I never got her name. She was very welcoming. She made sure our drinks were always filled(btw it’s a free refill when you order a soda or juice) I really liked the service and the food.

Forget about the chicken. It is dry. It has been cooked hours before. It is not crispy. The color of the skin is dark brown not golden brown. The dark skin is blacker than Mayweather. Eeeyuck.

All I gotta say is LECHONKAWALI!!! They have absolutely the best lechon kawali that I’ve ever tasted. Cooked to perfection. Same goes for their mami noodles. :)

If I’m even remotely passing the vicinity of this restaurant, I know better than to stop and pick up some of my mom’s favorites to drop off. The location is just down(3 miles) from the original location. It’s always good to pass by the old neighborhood. My go to items: Bola~Bola siopao — pork meatball with Chinese sausage, Chinese mushrooms, and duck egg. Really good and my favorite siopao here. Special Mami — mix of beef, chicken, and wonton. The beef and chicken are good, but you don’t really get a lot of it and the wonton is a bit salty. I’ll have to try the other wares, but since I already have favorites, why«fix» something that isn’t broken?

So disappointed in my food that I took out today. Ordered a beef Mami and there was maybe one edible piece of «beef»! The rest was just chewy and was kinda gross to be honest. The only thing I could eat was the noodle(which they don’t give u much anyways) and the broth. That’s it! A wasted $ 8…smh Sorry to say but I will not be coming back here anytime soon. P. S. The 2 stars is for the friendly cashier lady in the front and the quick service but that’s about it :-/

Was walking my dog, past by the mami king, and one of the employees walks right over a piles of food. Is this how you throw away the food you dont use anymore? Really, you guys should start doing something about this mess. This is so unsanitary, and a complete waste of food. This just tells me how you guys really operate. Soo disgusting, and your employees just step right over it, and go back in side, even tho its your mess.

This is my first time in this place. I’m having a hankering for Pancit Bihon and there isn’t a decent place for Pancit Bihon in the Valley so I tried it here. $ 8.45 tax included, good for 2 persons. Based on this purchase, their version of pancit bihon has larger noodle strands, larger than a regular bihon strands. The taste? Below average. I’m kind of disappointed. Maybe they’re just good for Mami’s, not guisados. Anyway, i’ll never come back in this place again. Still in search for a decent Pancit Bihon…

Ahh Mami King, why aren’t there more locations in the valley? Preferably near my house. They moved to a smaller location where the parking is crazy cramped. Even though the place is different, the food is still as good as I remembered it to be. Their chicken Mami is hands down my favorite thing in the menu. The flat noodles and chicken broth are perfect together. They also have beef and wonton if chicken is not your thing. I also ordered their Lomi which is a bowl of thick noodles in this gravy-like soup. I wish I ordered more to bring home. Service was great! The lady working there was genuinely friendly and attentive. The food arrived pretty quickly and the place itself is clean with their neat MK engraved chairs. The place is cash only, so be sure to stop by the nearest ATM. If you don’t want to dine in, you also have the option to order and pick up Togo.

Ordered the Pancit Malabon, Savory Chicken Plate, and two Siopao to-go, all totaled $ 20.42. The service was helpful, but nothing to praise over. The place is really small, and there’s no theme to it, except for the chairs. The chairs were personally engraved with«MK» on the backs which I thought was nice. ~ Savory Chicken Plate — you get a lot of food! Only problem was I thought it was lacking flavor. Maybe some salt in the fried rice and the chicken while it was roasting would have helped it. I’m not sure I would order it again even though you do get a lot of food. ~ Pancit Malabon — SARAP(that means«yummy» in Tagalog)!! Definitely one of the best I’ve had at a restaurant. It was thick without tasting like flour, it was garlicky. It was everything malabon should taste. I would definitely order this again. ~ Siopao — Not sure how they taste. I bought them for my sister and dad’s baon(lunch) for tomorrow.

My friend was craving those pork siopao. basically like a Chinese bun bun :) It was good… but not anything worth raving about. I actually didn’t hate it, which I thought I would. The har gow were okay, but they were way overstuffed for my taste. This place is a tiny mom and pop shop, and while I don’t hate it, I think I’d only come back if I were in the area and get some siopao to go.

New location is a lot smaller… cleaner but smaller. I can see this place getting packed during peak hours and feel a bit smothered already… Here’s my review about their previous location: This place is nostalgic for me. My mom & dad used to take us here when we were kids and every time I would get a pork siopao all to myself and a chicken mami. Boy, I sure did feel special! Nowadays I realize it’s not a mind blowing experience but it sure does bring back fond memories and I like to come here every so often to capture those special moments I shared with my parents and siblings growing up, especially on rainy days. Plus, the food is affordable(I think this place is cash only now), tastes good(I usually have to add soy sauce to my chicken mami), and the service isn’t stellar but it’s A-OK. Take some siopao to go, they reheat well in the microwave, just make sure to cover with a damp papertowel before reheating. Just writing this review is making me want to go there right now… I think I’ll wait for the morning rush hour to die down.
