Came in to eat with my boyfriend since it’s in walking distance. I wasn’t impressed with the food but he liked it so I ate. The ravioli was okay and had way too much sauce for my taste, Pizza wasn’t bad but not the best. We ordered delivery lastnight. I got the angel hair pasta with«tender shrimp» marinated in lemon and garlic. My boyfriend had wings. My pasta was so watery as if it wasn’t drained long enough. There was no flavor in the pasta, and the shrimp were not fresh or tender. My boyfriend didn’t receive his extra sauce. He’s had food delivered before and has had items missing. It was such a disappointment! We agreed to not order from here. I was looking forward to a lemon buttery angel hair pasta with yummy tender shrimp and was very disappointed I’m remaking this dish today with some good quality ingredients!

If you want the best pizza in Los Angeles county then please go to Mama’s. I’m a vegetarian and i order an extra large pizza with extra sauce, extra cheese, and black olives all for under $ 20.00. Simply the best pizza period

The absolute worst customer service ever. I placed an order online(why? They don’t check it apparently) and when I called after 90 minutes to inquire about my order, they made it seem like I was bothering them and the guy hung up on my face! Will never order from that horrid place again. As a Mexican American I must say I am disgusted by the way these people spoke to me. So so sad.

In 20 plus years living in this area I’ve never been here. My son insisted in coming here. I was so pleased with the food, the quickness and the quality of the food. The hot wings were really good too.

Mediocre at best. I really enjoy their garlic knots but that’s about it. Pizza is okay in a pinch but there is definitely better to be had in the area especially for the price. I’ve had their fettucini alfredo as well which is very hit or miss, some days it’s tasty other days it’s just bland. Okay if you live in walking distance and just want something quick, otherwise I’d skip this place.

This is one of the best pizza places in the area. The thin crust pizza is the way forward. It is good value for money and I will be back again. Update: the pizza is very hit and miss. 1st time great, 2nd time average and 3rd time average. Chicken wings are too greasy and oily, not to mention the fact that it’s advertised as 7.75 yet they charge 8.75. The waitress said prices increased in the new year yet they haven’t updated their special board or website. Guess I need to find another place.

Greasy and overpriced. Went there to grab a quick slice on lunch, figured it looked like a small local place and it was busy inside so I figured it would be great. Sadly, I was dissappointed. They had a lunch special with a slice, a salad and a soda. It was $ 8.50, kinda overpriced but i figured the slice would be massive. I ordered it and took about 10 – 15 minutes to get my slice. When it finally came out the slice was small, about the size of a little caesars slice and to be honest, I’d rather have eaten at little caesars than this. The slice was greasy, flavorless and the cheese was all clumpy on top. All in all I’d say the experience was greasy and disappointing.

Really not good. Was disappointed because I wanted to give this place a shot since it’s so close to my place. Got the beer battered mushrooms — soggy, bland and not worth the calories. Pizza margarita — dough was not crispy but sorta chewy. Do not recommend this place unfortunately.

My husband and I will always get our pizza here. Fresh ingredients that you can really taste are present in every single bite. The price is extremely reasonable for the quality that you receive. We normally order from Mama’s on a lazy day so we always opt for delivery and they always deliver in a timely manner. A great spot for great food.

This place was great. We came as a group of four and ordered the lemon garlic wings, the garlic twists and a large meat lovers pizza. I loved the wings. They had a great rustic homemade taste. The garlic knots are served in fresh basil and parmesan and were simply amazing. the pizza was delicious with a nice not-to-thick chewy crust. I would definitely return.

This place is a a gem! I can’t believe I slept on them for the longest time; considering how often I’ve passed by it for the last two decades. I can honestly say it’s one of the best pizza places I’ve visited, and I have incredibly high standards for my pizza. I usually ordered from one of the chains as a kid(Papa John’s; Pizza Hut; Dominoes etc.) but having grown and tasted what good pizza can be like I was on a quest to find a local place that I could rely in for my frequent pizza indulgence. And Mama’s offers that and then some. I’ve only had their pizza and recently a calzone, and I can’t imagine going anywhere else for those again. The service is cool, they’re all friendly people working there and are happy to oblige my occasional odd request on how to prepare my food. Annnnd now I want pizza. Thanks Unilocal

Needed some food while at the computer. Ordered a pizza, barely had to stop working, they delivered exactly on time in ½ hr. Pretty darn good pizza. Extra large cheese tomato pizza with olives, onions and mushrooms. The whole thing is in the crust, and while not perfectly authentic, the crust is pretty good, not too bready and well cooked.

The ratings on food & service We enjoyed every bite of our delicious food The food 5 stars The service 5 stars The price 5 stars The place was small and rather hot, I guess no A/C? But we over looked it because we knew its family owned and the service made up for it. Also they had the game on(49 vs Rams) for those of you that can’t eat without watching your football. Parking on the street, limited. Caesar salad Hot wings with the side of buffalo sauce(must have!) Extra large Godfather pizza(plentiful!) small cheese and pepperoni + drinks They have beer $ 78+ TIP

Well, I will just tell it like it is. I get some slices to go. Accidentally leave my sunglasses on the bench directly in front of the register. Literally 1 women eating in the entire place. Its a ghost town. About 15 minutes after I leave I realize i left my glasses at the restaurant, pull over and call them. They claim they have never seen them. I remember exactly where i left them on the bench and have yet to get out of my car since. I find it hard to believe they were never found. Convenient how $ 150 dollar glasses just vanish into thin air in such a short time with no one else in the restaurant, in a very obvious central location. Also, pizza was mediocre at best.

Happened upon this place because my boyfriends roommates ordered take out from here before. I was craving pizza and decided to give this place a try. Much like the rest of LA, there isn’t a parking lot so your best bet is metered parking on the street. I was able to snag one pretty close by but good luck finding a spot during busy hours of the day. I was pleasantly surprised by this place since I didn’t have high expectations, but it had a really cute interior and seemed like a cozy place for a quick lunch or dinner. I decided to order for carry-out and was told my pizza would take about 15 – 20 minutes. While I was waiting, the phone was ringing off the hook and there was only one lady trying to take everyone’s orders. She was also multi-tasking by serving the 2 tables that were dining in. She definitely looked frazzled and was rushing to get everything done. My pizza came out in about 15 minutes and she was pretty nice to me but I could tell she was getting frustrated with having to do so many things. Hopefully they work out a better togo system because if they’re this popular, they’re going to need to upgrade soon to accommodate their customers! Anyway, the real star was the actual pizza! I ordered a medium pizza with sausages and mushrooms. The sausages weren’t the kind I was expecting but actually thinly sliced into circles and plentiful on the pizza. The mushrooms complimented the meat and cheese very well. They gave me a side of ranch cause I asked for one(free of charge) and some packeted parmesan and crushed red pepper. I LOVE their pizza. The dough was nice and firm but gooey at the same time and every bite was full of flavor! Definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had and I’m not even that much of a pizza fan. I actually don’t even like crust and usually don’t eat it, but this bread was so good I had to eat every last bite. I shared the medium with my boyfriend and we each were able to eat about 3 generous slices and probably paid less than $ 10 each. For quality and price, I will definitely come back to Mama’s Original Pizza & Pasta! When I try more things, I’ll update my review but for now, you can’t go wrong with the pizza! Check this place out(:

I’ve been coming here for over a decade, and I’m hooked on their BBQ chicken pizza(with whole wheat dough) and the peppery pasta(penne pasta with black beans, tomatoes, corn, and chicken)! A family owned establishment that offers pick up and local delivery. I’ll keep ordering from Mamas, for as long as I live in Los Angeles. Delicious and consistent!

I’m a total sucker for chewy, greasy pizza. This is so good! Came in for lunch on a Monday, they have a great special; salad and a personal pizza for $ 7.50. This pizza is absolutely wonderful. Soft crust, lots of cheese, perfect sauce. This is how I like it! This is the closest I’ve found to my favorite pizza back home. Wow, I can’t rave enough about this! Can’t wait to come back.
