Wow I just love this place! Ordered a white cake with chocolate frosting for my birthday and it was fabulous! The frosting was simply amazing :) I’m so happy, I’ll for sure be back. Also Rick tossed in a few extra yummy treats to try and I just loved the chocolate chip cookie! They even delivered it to me at work so I had it in perfect timing before my party. By the way, I’m the only vegan in the group and everyone else loved my cake too! My guest were very pleased as was I. My overall experience was definitely top-​notch.

I had the pleasure of taking a chance on this bakery based on Unilocal reviews alone, having no knowledge of them and I just want to share my 1^st experience. Below is an email to the owners from me about my daughter’s birthday today.
Hello Annie and Rick,
I just wanted to thank you so much for making my daughter’s birthday a success! She absolutely loved the cupcakes and I know this not only because she said, «mmmm, this is yummy!» But because at other parties she goes straight for the frosting and leaves the bread behind. She ate the whole cupcake today! This is why it was so important for me to find a vegan dessert. I hate letting my daughter eat all that sugar and chemical that is harmful to her in the long run. Now that I was fortunate to have found you through Unilocal,I can give my daughter guilt free desserts without true compromise. You definitely live up to your slogan, «taste without compromise» and I want to commend you on your talent and success! I can’t wait to taste the cake ;)
Thank you also for the complimentary cookies and brownies! I tasted both brownies and I loved them! My favorite so far is the protein brownie.

Excellent cakes and cookies! We placed an order for gluten, but, soy free cake for my daughter’s birthday. We loved it. They delivered it at home with no extra charge, since we lived in Chatsworth. And the cherry on top was the goodies that came with the cake. We got to sample a few cookies.
The owner called to enquire about our review of the cake. Would definitely order from here again.

I usually don’t eat gluten free/​diary free/​vegan anything but I had one of their brownies and it was insane — probably the best brownie I’ve had in years. Tasted just like the chocolate buttery evil stuff I know and love. Would definitely go back for more.

Every Tuesday I must get some oatmeal cookies. Every Tuesday, I love them so much because I’m vegan and it’s hard to find good vegan stuff but mama Mina’s has the best sweets.

I for one never really liked Vegan or Gluten free goods until this place. Mama Mina’s definitely delivers. From the moist banana bread, to the decadent chocolate cookies and the sumptuous brownies, one simply can’t get enough. Just forget that their good for you too because you will end up stuffing yourself.

Amazing! Literally ate the whole large banana bread with my kids that we were supposed to save for a party! Great for catering. Worth every penny!!!

We love the pastries! The cookies, cupcakes, and brownies are all amazing! We got to try out the sweets at the CSUN farmers market and the guy was very very nice! It’s hard to find really good vegan sweets so it’s awesome to know a place or people who make them :) We will definitely be coming back often!

It’s hard to find gluten free and vegan treats but these are by far one of my favorite cookies and dessert breads. So happy to discover them at my university’s farmers market!

The baked goodies that come out of their kitchen are vegan, gluten-​free and absolutely amazing! Mama Mina and her husband have hearts of gold and that shines in goods they sell.
While at my mom’s house we got a knock on the door for a home delivery of Mama Mina’s. I heard the gentleman talking to my pops, he was super enthusiastic and very nice. He went through our bags to confirm the order. He caught my attention when he said «so here’s the chocolate chip & oatmeal cookies, banana-​coconut, banana-​cranberry and zucchini bread and pumpkin, apple pie and we threw I’m a few sample of…» I was like… whaaaaaaat! :-P
Once the front door closed we dove right into those bags. Everything was so fresh, moist and tasty but my favorites were definitely the chocolate chip cookies and banana nut bread.
My mom called in and thanked them for the delivery and it sounded as if she was talking to an old friend. This husband and wife team are really something special!
These home baked goods can purchased online, delivered to your door ($ 50.00 minimum), or sold at Csun on certain days; just check the website.
Mom and Pop shops like these are a dying breed so support and enjoy. I wish these guys the very best.

Best vegan pumpkin pie and peanut butter cookies ever. seriously.

AMAZING sweet treats! I’m a CSUN student, and they have a booth at our mini Farmer’s Market every Tuesday; my best friend and I are regulars lol. She’s vegan, but I’m not, even though I keep trying and failing. But I HIGHY RECOMMEND trying EVERYTHING! The husband runs the booth, and he is one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life; honestly. My personal favorites are the brownies with walnuts and the chocolate chip cookies, both vegan. I bought some of their vegetarian banana bread today. Yum! I also had the vegan Chai cupcake today too (my sweet tooth was pretty strong today lol) and that is now being added to the «favorites» list as well.
You can’t go wrong with trying them out. Even if you aren’t vegan or vegetarian, you won’t be disappointed.
And it’s always nice to support a local business :)

The chocolate chip cookie were absolutely delicious. Soft, moist, & chocolatiee. Probably the best gluten free vegan treat I’ve ever had.

Their brownies are amazingly delicious! Came across Mama Mina’s Sweets & Treats at CSUN’s every Tuesday Farmer’s Market and now I can not wait for it to be Tuesday again so I can have more brownies. Also, they’re Gluten-​free (best part, you can’t taste the difference).

Delicious gluten free products! Banana bread is amazing, and customer service is great.

Mama Mina’s has answered the call for people craving sweet baked treats without the glutens and vegan. They offer a wide variety of baked breads, cookies and decadent brownies.
The goodies are currently only available at the farmers market in Calabasas, Brentwood and La Canada events.
They make wonderful individual sized pies, gift baskets and all of the packaging can be given as gifts to make a nice surprise for anyone.
Seriously…whats better than apple pies and brownies!
