Lucia’s Pizza

Don’t go to this place they are a rip off! Their «Special» of buy one get one free is a scam. Not true! I bought one and I was charged for 2 pizzas. Turns out it’s only free if its pepperoni.
Don’t waste your money coming here there’s better places out there with better service.

most disgusting food I’ve ever attempted to eat. meatballs were undercooked and raw in the center, tiramisu was frozen solid. after 15 minutes at 350 degrees it was STILL frozen. you get what you pay for I guess. cheap, but barely qualifies as «food.»

Get pizza! Great salad’s and pasta dishes! Been going here and getting take-​out for years from this unassuming little gem! Service is fast and always friendly. The prices for the amount of food you get are fantastic! My wife and I enjoy their salads which are big enough for two people! One of our favorite Culver City spot’s! Wonderful and yummy!

The food was pretty good. My sister and I each ordered a deluxe calzone. I liked it, she loved it. The total price was descent. $ 21.50 for two deluxe calzones, two salads, a Snapple and a bottle of water. There isn’t a tv nor music playing in the background.

We used to order from here often when we lived in Culver City. We moved to Ladera Heights and were in the mood for some Lucia’s. We called first to check if they’d deliver to us and the girl said yes. When we called back with our order, a guy picked up and said they don’t deliver here. We mentioned we’re just off La Cienega & Slauson. Google map’d it and it’s 11 minutes!!! So he asked why didn’t we drive over to pick it up. Well, because we’re exhausted and we wanted something delivered. Usually 4 stars for the food, but dropping one star for awful customer service. Off to find another place that will deliver.

A lot of complaint regarding customer service here, but that’s never been my experience. Everyone’s always been polite, the food has been good. And the price is solid.

Got two orders of fried zucchini only to find out it was$ 11 dollars. Something that should be $ 5-​$ 6 at most and even that could be a stretch. Then I wait a really long time when I finally see my order I was shocked to see 10 pieces of tiny zucchini. It looked like one single order. I went back to check and it really was one order. Horrible experience never coming hear again.

LOVE THIS PIZZA. Fresh ingredients and when you want garlic, they don’t play (very important). Like how long its been there, people always nice and they deliver, what’s the question?

If I could give it less stars I would, made an order and was brought someone elses order, When I told the driver he apologized and said he would return with the correct one. After another hour of waiting still no pizza. When I called to find out what was going on they again apologized and said it would be here in 30 min. I had canceled the order and chose a main stream place that actually values customer service.

Awful tasting slimy thin bread that could only pass as crust by a mere technicality. Tastes worse than school pizza.

Terrible phone customer service. They will regularly be short with you, and rude. And then hang up before giving you a total or delivery time. Some of the people I work with put up with it. I have no patience for poor customer service. If you want to get yelled at a lot. By all means go for it. Mediocre pizza at best. Also I’m writing this review after ordering with my colleagues numerous times.

Tried ordering delivery. The guy that answered the phone said we’re way too far from them to deliver before I even gave him the address. When I told him we were a mile away and I was looking at the map he still said «No, it’s much farther than that.»
Seems like someone that works here is incredibly lazy and just doesn’t feel like delivering. WILL NEVER TRY TO ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN

The Food is delicious but the delivery guy is horrible!!! My coworker and I just order two lunch specials, which came to a total of $ 20.00, and unfortunately both of us had $ 20 bills. The driver/​delivery guy didn’t have change, but we managed to borrow a dollar from another coworker to give as a tip. As he walked away, he mumbled something, shortly after he came back and tossed the dollar at our receptionist and stated «next time tell that pinche gorda that I’ll give her $ 5.00 and she can pick up her own food up».
Beware of the tattooed, bald, dark skinned latino delivery guy with a bad attitude. We have ordered food from this place for years, and when we attempted to call and complain, no one would state their name or provide the owners information so we could complain. My coworker who was called a «F****** Fat A**» is now in tears because she was horribly offended and FYI she’s pregnant not fat. What type of people is this restaurant hiring to represent them? This is the last time we order from this place. I hope the owner does a better job going forward with his hiring process. What type of person insults a pregnant woman?

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
Just had my food delivered for myself and a few coworkers. (free delivery with a $ 10.00 min)
We got the cash together and paid the driver — who was upset at his tip… he thought i didn’t speak Spanish — so, he said «Next time i’ll give you $ 5 to pickup the food you fucking fat ass»
First off, i’m 7 months pregnant. How dare you insult a customer like that in your line of service!!!
I was ENRAGED and called Lucia’s Pizza line immediately and asked for the manager. The first person to answer the phone (hispanic guy) said there was no manager available. Then when i asked for name of the manager, he didn’t know the manager’s name? Told me his name was Joe?! and that the driver’s name was «Gus»…
I called back and got to speak with who i can only assume was the owner (Middle eastern guy) who wanted to hear my complaint. Then when i told him what happened and that i wanted to get my money back… He said «NO!»
I am filing a complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau for not giving me my money back and for the horrible service i had to endure.
I WILL NEVER CALL THIS PLACE BACK — AND HOPE YOU DON’T EITHER!!!
BTW: I just went on the Better Business Bureau website and found the Grandma Lucia’s Pizza HAS AN «F RATING» !!!

Ordered lunch for 12 of my co-​workers and nothing was left!
Ordered 4 large pizzas (All Meat & All Veggies) and hot 3 orders of Hot Wings and everyone was even asking me, where did I order the pizza from?
Will not be the last the time I order from Lucia’s Pizza, taste great! You will not be sorry!

The pizzas are great, I have never been to the place but I order once or twice a week and I must say that they are to die for. I suggest the barbecue chicken and the western chicken are two of my favorites, but if you like spicy go for the western chicken pizza it has avocado on it, and is mucho caliente, very spicy hot.
The one thing I must add is that delivery is not so fast usually about 30 to 40 minutes, and they don’t keep your info on file so you have to give the information again and again, be patience because sometimes they no comprende and you have to say it again, but is very much worth it.
Price wise is a little bit more expensive compare to other places but like I said before, worth every dollar.

Ordered delivery on a Friday night and they came in about 30 minutes (I’m just under 3 miles away). I first found them on the Seamless delivery site, but called them to order directly since I found their coupons online which seems to be better for what we wanted.
We ordered the coupon A Lucia’s treat: 2 Large Pizzas with 3 Toppings and 3 Cans of Soda. The website says it’s $ 19.90, but we were told the price is actually $ 20.90. I’m a little bummed that they aren’t honoring their own website’s prices, but hey, $ 21 for 2 large pizzas and 3 sodas is still a pretty damn good deal. So we rolled with it and I took a picture of the new coupon and menu prices for you guys (See photos)! It also says minimum delivery is $ 8 on their website but it’s $ 10 now.
The pizzas were alright, okay, fine, nothing special. Considering the price we have no complaints. Interesting that the coupon special came with 3 sodas but not 4 since there were definitely enough pizzas to feed 4. We had a couple leftover slices with 4 people. The pictures of their pastas and salads don’t look appetizing at all from their menu so I’ll probably stay away from anything else other than their pizzas. Definitely adding them to my list when I need to feed people for cheap with free delivery.
