We started with a class lead by Miss Mary. She’s sweet and the class was lovely and fun for our 1 year old. Then we hired Miss Alana to play and lead a music class at a toddler party with 15 toddlers. Miss Alana was great and rolled with the chaotic punches of trying to wrangle all those crazy little ones. Everyone enjoyed her and we’ll definitely consider hiring her for another class.

We used Love Bug this past weekend for my son’s 2nd birthday and let me tell you that all the children had SOMUCHFUN! Even the adults had a good time! We had Ms. Alana and Mr. Joe, they were both fantastic and kept the children engaged and entertained for the entire hour. There was never a dull moment. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed. I will be checking out their weekly classes for my son. Thank you Love Bug for making our party a HIT!

We are huge fans and Lovebug and Miss Mary! We first enrolled when our son was 6 months old as a way to get out and meet other parents, and now as a crazy 18 month-old we are excited to start our 3rd session. As he gets older he finds new ways to enjoy class and we adore Miss Mary’s patience and talent. You can tell she loves children and making music! Highly recommended!

We began taking our son when he was 14 months and love the energy of the class. Miss Mary is extremely sweet and kind and her songs are great. She gives you a CD and/or downloadables so that you can listen to the music at home and in the car, which is fun for the kids because they familiarize themselves with all the songs. It was wonderful the way she incorporated so many different instruments with games. She plays the guitar, ukelele and accordion, and has maracas, drums, puppets, bells, scarves and parachutes for the kids to use. The class was always full and diverse, with fathers, mothers, grandparents and nannies of all backgrounds. The kids are also all ages, which is nice as they can see how older kids and younger kids act. It is super easy to park and also nice to walkthrough the toy store Dragonfly Dulou as you enter Miss Mary’s class(which is located in a room behind the toy store). She is also really flexible and allows you to sign up drop in classes if there is room, or to switch to another day if your child was sick on your normal day.

We love Miss Mary and Love Bug and Me! We weren’t sure if our 6 month old would be into a music-making class at such a young age, but it was perfect and so fun to see her discover new songs and instruments each week. She also loved interacting with the other kids. Miss Mary had different instruments and toys for the kids each week as well as new songs and activities. The 45 minute class is the perfect amount of time. Just when the babies start getting restless, it’s time to sing«Ready To Go!»

Miss Mary and LoveBug & Me Music are awesome! My daughter and I first began making music with LoveBug when she was just 10 months old. She is now 2 and can’t wait to jam with Miss Mary each week. When we sing songs together in the car or at home, she happily reminds me(and anyone else she may be performing for) that«we learned this in music class.» :-) I shopped around when we were first looking to enroll and I was surprised that many programs didn’t offer«live» music but instead relied heavily on an iPod. Miss Mary’s approach was a breath of fresh air as she not only plays music live(guitar, ukele AND the accordion) but has written the large majority of the songs that we learn and sing every week. They are catchy, upbeat and easy for the kiddies to learn. She is so warm with the children and definitely brings her experience as the mom as well as musician to the table. The pacing of the class is perfect and the children are introduced to new instruments and supporting musical activities each week. Another aspect of LoveBug which separates itself from its competitors is its«theme» for each musical series(«The Story Garden», «Music From Around The World», and the upcoming«Down on The Farm»). I feel like the theme not only reinforces simple concepts for the children but it also keeps things highly entertaining for the parents as well. LoveBug & Me Music gets two huge thumbs up from our family! We can’t wait for the fall series to begin. Definitely check it out! You and your little one will LOVE it!
