Came here because of the raving reviews. I was passing through this area and I found this joint. Looked it up on Unilocal and found nearly all positive reviews. Honestly, it’s not that great. In fact, Popeyes is even better than this. Here’s what I ordered: 2 thighs, 10 pc fried shrimp, fries, and it came with two rolls. Here are the ratings: Chicken: 3⁄5 Shrimp: 2⁄5 Fries: 2.5÷5 Chicken was okay. Tender and juicy, but seasoning wasn’t that tasty. The fried shrimp pieces were overdone, It was not good at all. I had a hard time eating the shrimp. Fries weren’t that great. They season the fries with cajun seasoning and salt. It wasn’t yummy. Probably better to go elsewhere for your fried chicken/cajun/creole.

Seriously, some of the best fried chicken I’ve had. Crispy, juicy, very well seasoned all the time. The best part is the chicken is just as good a few days after. I throw the chicken into the oven until they’re all heated on the inside with the crispy skin on the outside. Just as good as the day I bought it. Highly recommend! You won’t regret it!

O.M.G. The gumbo!!! Amazing!!! I could live off this! Still can’t get over it came from a drive thru! Warning: its warm deliciousness will knock you into a comfort nap. Chicken strips are crazy huge n come with bomb seasoned fries. Seriously, don’t let the location fool you. THIS is real damn delicious food!

Whenever I’m craving fried chicken, this is my go to place. The chicken is well seasoned, spicy, very crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The fries are also pretty good and the role that comes with your combo is always fresh. This location has chinese food as well, but I’ve never tried it. It’s a fried chicken spot, that’s what they’re known for and that’s what I’m sticking to. They have a drive-thru which is a real plus since it’s one of the only locations that do. Now it’s obviously in the hood, which on the one hand is cool… lots of good food comes out of sketchy areas, but on the other hand, be ready for someone asking for some change or just some questionable characters standing out also grabbing some food. Any bad experience here has to do with the ambiance and never with the food. It’s also really cheap.

Better fried chicken easily than popeys or kfc. Get the strawberry slushi and the breast and wing. You get a huge amount of fries and a roll. Chicken is not greasy and it is super juicy. Chicken nuggets and fried shrimp is also good as well. 1 Star off because it usually takes a while to get your order but it is worth it.

Best fried chicken ever. Been coming Here forthe last 5 years. Employees are nice. But there are a lot of bums asking for change, they are so rowdy too.

My ex turned me on to this location. I can say it’s the best kept secret for those that live in the area or heard about this location through someone else. Not in the best area, so just in passing you wouldn’t even think twice about stopping. There’s also a drive-thru, so there’s no need to get out if you don’t feel the need to do so. Anyway, the Chicken Nuggets are the best. Served with fries, BBQ sauce(in a small container) & a roll. Hot & the flavor will have you on the borderline of almost burning the inside of your mouth because you just have to have another bite before it cools all the way down. I dare anyone to try this place. I don’t know a whole lot about the chicken & other items on the menu but the nuggests & fries will have you coming back for more.
