Made a good decision following the reviews on Unilocal!Small but service definitely makes up for it!!! Food was dlish, careful with the habenero sauce aka liquid fire lol …literally!

I was very happy to see the great reviews for this market, which is a great little restaurant with a friendly chef and great neighborhood flavor. Pop in here for take out breakfast or a bunch of stuff to share for a late lunch. The chef with make whatever you want or put together something for you and let me say its a great spot if you’re feeling the hangover. :) And of course there’s the market with a bunch of beers, sofas, waters and stuff for around the house.

Excellent Tastee Tacos. I had 6 in total. 2-Al Pastor Tacos. Meat was tender with a little heat to them, seasoning was stop on. 5 2-Carnitas Tacos. Was I very good taco but didn’t have a right flavor to it, maybe to much salt. 3 2-Chicken Tacos. This was another excellent taco, flavor was on point meat was cooked perfect. 5 This place had that old LA taco shop charm to. It wasn’t really clean inside nor dirty. It just was a normal old fashion Tastee taco shop. I’ll be back to this place next week maybe.

Hybrid Market/Restaurant. My barber gave me the tip to go here for the Tepache(pineapple beer). Ordered a veggie torta(pretty good and BIG) and Tepache which was, hmmmm not as sweet or boozy as I hoped«It won’t make you a borracho» as the owner told me. It was however, worth a try. We pass by the place almost very day and the man is always inside, same chair watching his action flicks en Espanol, waiting for his next customer as the sun slowly sets on Los Pinos

I love the kitchen here! Most memorable for me has been the burrito de lengua and the chicharrones. The latter turned into an instant addiction. The couple that run Los Pinos are very sweet and friendly and welcoming.

A hole on the wall grocery/kitchen owned by a very nice couple who cook delicious food and take pride on doing so. Being there is like entering your best friend’s kitchen. They make your waiting time very enjoyable with friendly conversation and free samples of the different freshly cooked foods they prepare. Going to Los Pinos is an all around satisfaction; my stomach is very happy with the tasty food and my spirit is equally happy knowing that I support an honest local business. The prices super reasonable.

Gotta give it up here. This best little secret DOES !!! Have the tastiest chicharonnes this side of anywhere ! Ahhhmazing with fresh lime and hot green salsa ! Bam. Also of note: tasty tasty tacos in street or gringo sizing. I tried the Al Pastor and the Asada. Both winners. As the terminator said: «I’ll be back» (sorry for my poor spelling) Yum

I stopped by to have breakfast which are all $ 6.49 and thought it was more than I wanted to pay. But the plate is very big so actually two people can share it. The owner is very friendly and my Huevos a la Mexicana plate was very good. Also, the chili is very hot.

I’ve lived in El Sereno for many years and only yesterday stopped in at Los Pinos for the very first time. I’m going back today. Food=awesome. Service=the friendliest. I’m going back today for the chicharron tacos. Yesterday I had the flautas and they were amazing. Make sure you try their habanero salsa. OMG!

For such high-quality food being prepared out of that small a space, 4.5 stars. The dishes are damn tasty, and the staff is super friendly. Market items and to-go orders are purchased through the plexiglass box chamber adjacent to the register, but food eaten at the counter or their single sit-down table is handed over from the kitchen area. Ask the cook to make a burrito out of your chicken mole. He may look at you funny, but kindly reply in the affirmative. But, seriously, let’s talk about the chicharrones. Best I’ve ever had in Los Angeles. Beautiful shade of deep amber/orange, luscious layers of crunchy fat protecting perfectly moist soft white meat… a splash of the habanero sauce he keeps behind the counter, a drop of lime juice and and salt. OUTSTANDING.

This place is a true Dive. However, you can’t beat tasty tacos for only 75 cents. They also make a Mean Burrito!

These guys will make up a heck of a burrito, asada, for you. I take mine to go. Really no place to sit down in it. There is an outside table on the street. It is in a area of, I think, El Soreno of LA, that has stray dogs, shady characters around, and definitely not a place to be once the sun goes down. The inside does have some market stuff, but the workers are inside of a big cage and they hand stuff out to you through a window. Bit ghetto, I think.
