I had so much fun!!! First off, come extremely hungry! There is just so much to eat, everything is so good. As soon as you walk in there is a person handing out a wine glass and then there is an endless amount of booths with wine and food. I just bounced around from place to place eating my way through the entire event. Skipped any booth that had a long line, I came back later on and the lines had died down and there was plenty of food left. Be very careful!!! there is so much booze here to try, anyone can easily go overboard. Overall, I had a great time, got to try some amazing food, even saw chef Curtis Stone! This event was totally worth coming to!

Impulsively I clicked«purchase» and bought tickets for the famous Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival. So expensive, but worth it! The line was super long, but moved quickly once it hit 7PM. Walking in, we were handed wine glasses for the night — as 100+ wineries awaited us. I would say the event was great because of the overall experience — red carpet all across 1st& Grand Ave; initially I couldn’t even tell I was on the streets because it was done so beautifully! The dish that stood out the most was definitely Chef Chaney’s seared foie gras with pig ear crisp. So good, I made sure to remember the chef’s name. The foie gras was so creamy and melted perfectly with the crunch from the pig ear. The brie sandwich was also delicious. The wines were really good as well; usually not a big fan of white wine but their selection was top quality. The venue is beautiful with view of the DTLA skyline. Decorations beautifully done — this is the perfect type of event for a romantic date or even to go with your girlfriends. Not sure about parking — took the easy route and über-ed my way there ;) Would love to come back next year!

I went to the Curtis Stone cooking demonstration and the Lexus Grand Tasting. The cooking demonstration was ok but I was toward the back of the room so I couldn’t see much until after the demonstration and I could walk to the front. The Lexus Grand Tasting was AMAZING! 25 celebrity chefs like Moritmoto passing out delicious bites and over 200 wines to taste including Heitz Cellar, Quintessa and Silver Oak. They had a nice VIP lounge area to take a break at but we only sat there once for about 5 minutes. No time to waste good eating and drinking time.
