On second thought, after coming back several times, the tea tastes watered down. Maybe the large size is worse.

Really cool chic at the register who took my order named Moki… I glanced in to see inside and if I wanted to eat here and saw her delightful attitude and hugging a girl she knew from across the desk. Food was good. Thanks Moki!!!

We are regulars on this place. Specially whenever they have the watermelon slush boba, Made from fresh watermelons! Tried other Lollicup stores and they uses syrups for their stuffs. This store uses fresh watermelon & mangoes, not any other artificial syrups. Love it!!!

I come here for the fruity smoothies. Only the frosty fruit smoothies. No boba, no fruit bowls, no hot food. Frosty smoothies: They are good. They are large(regular size is more like a large to me). They aren’t expensive( And in case you haven’t heard: THEY’REREALLYGOOD!!! Free parking in the lot out back. It’s a small place, but you can grab your drink to go and wander around Michael’s or Marshall’s or just down Sawtelle to the market or another place. I love to people-watch, so I’ll just settle down outside and enjoy my fruity goodness.

Pretty disappointed. Waited 25 minutes for a popcorn chicken noodle soup. It wasn’t that busy. I won’t post a picture because the noodles are dry crunchy in one part and super soggy in another. I tried to get my money back. They said their training the back of the house — on a Friday night? Bad move. The owners should pay attention. Save yourself time and money — go to Panda Express instead.

Milk tea with half and half and jelly is yummy. Fast friendly service with easy access off the 405. This location also serves food so you can grab a snack if your hungry. Open late everyday and midnight on friday and saturday.

The quality and service of this lollicup location has gone down drastically over the years. This place is so slow when getting your food to you and the drinks aren’t as good as they use to be. Their chicken curry sucks. Don’t get that. The only reason why I’m giving the place 2 stars is cause their popcorn chicken is pretty good. Lol Edit:so I came in today to give them one last go and this other team was sooooooo much better than the last two not so great experiences I had. Kacie and the other Asian girl with an Ombré were so nice and attentive. I wish that it was consistent. Def saved a customer.

Worst boba tea all of California or shall I say the west coast. The boba was gloopy and hard in the middle. I ordered the honeydew milk tea. It’s suppose to be a bright pastel green color, but mine was literally white with a slight hint of green nor did it taste good. It tasted like diluted honeydew powder milk tea. Avoid this place at all cost. Save your money and go to coco’s bubble tea down the street. Oh and the kitchen closes an hour and a half before the store closes. Staff is rude and disgusting. No stars if I could !

I love love LOVE this place!!! It’s home away from home! So many memories and all the great friends I’ve made here. The drinks are life. The food is good. SOGLADTHEYBROUGHTBACKTHEOLDCRISPYTOFURECIPE!!! Shout out to Rainbow [Barista] and Carlo, Peter & Lil Kim [Kitchen] for having tons of PLUR ALSO: As customers, I highly advice that we leave tip for these hard working kids. They go above and beyond with their work. Theyre college kids. Think about it, most of us leave all our shit on the table after we’re done eating and they have to deal with cleaning it up. Don’t be stingy and leave tip. Xoxo

Lollicup may not have the best drinks in Sawtelle, but it definitely has the best service! The staff here are so friendly and always smiling. I love the popcorn chicken here too. Tastes better and slightly bigger portion than the popcorn chicken at Volcano or MJ tea house. Try this if you haven’t and you’ll love it!

OK tea. Dirty and actually shut down for cockroach infestation last year. :( It’s tiny inside and you don’t have a lot of seating options when it’s busy. The food is okay… you might as well spend a few extra dollars at another restaurant or go to Nijya market instead and pick up something quick there. The tea is here is watered down and feels like a massive letdown. Pass!

I was in the area and needed to waste a little time waiting for an appointment. I swung by Lollicup to see what they have. I got one of those boba drinks. I dont usually get boba and the selection looked so confusing that I just asked the girl what is good for someone who has lactose issues and she recommended Tea. I got a peach tea with the boba. It tasted ok, I usually love peach tea, but this one was ok. I would like to try something else from there though! There are a lot of different things that look so good. The service was good. The little asian woman that was working there was so nice and asked if everything was okay, whereas most people would be thinking to themselves«when is this guy gonna leave»? lol When I’m in the area I’ll be swinging by and trying something different. You should swing by there and try it too!

This is a chain part Boba Milk Tea & Smoothie, part Taiwanese snack place and they’re doing very well in a crowded market from what I can tell. They have 4 locations that I know of: in Sawtelle(this location), Alhambra, Glendale, and also one that’s separately owned from those 3 in Chinatown. The drinks are really good and fresh, I think they’re among the highest quality among the other places in LA. It’s clean, they have free wifi, and they have a great selection. This place doesn’t use rewards cards but instead relies on 5 Stars which you can sign up for online or pick up a free card and fill out the info online later. It’s convenient. The food is good too, and makes for a nice inexpensive meal. I like their beef soup and rice bowls, which go for about $ 7-$ 10. Another good thing here is you can ask for less sugar(¾, ½, ¼) if you’re trying to watch your sugar intake. It still tastes good just not as sweet. Also, they have several different toppings including 2 types of honey boba and Asian ingredients to put into your drinks. Mango jelly is awesome. The only negative is it does take a while to get your order even when it’s not busy. Expect to wait 10 – 15 minutes. Street parking or lot parking around the corner, I’ve never been unhappy here with what I get. Would recommend.

Food: 3 stars Parking, Service & Convenience: 4 stars Had some massive boba craving yesterday and rushed here during lunch hour. ==PARKING== Amazingly, there is a free parking structure right next to Lollicup! FREE! In West LA? That’s a huge plus. ==FOOD/DRINKS ORDERED== I ordered a almond milk tea with honey boba($ 3.50 plus 50 cents for boba), but used my Unilocal check in to get free milk tea so ended up only paying 50 cents for the boba :) The almond milk tea was delicious and not too sweet with a strong taste of almond which I love. The boba was the lacking factor, it’s a little too hard which makes chewing tiring. Also ordered their taiwanese sausage bowl for $ 5.25 which was pretty tasty and portion was quite large, although a bit too much rice(proportions off?). I like the fact they included a tea egg in the bowl! :) Tastyy. ==SERVICE== The service was great. Cashier was friendly and helpful. ==OVERALL== Overall, great lunch spot if you work near Sawtelle. I’ll be back!

Tried the Brown Sugar milk tea due to Unilocal recommendations, but it was too sweet for my taste(and I have a sweet tooth!). Throughout March they are promoting free tea with purchase of soup. I tried the wonton soup and it was okay. Overall this location isn’t bad and the free parking helps. Service could be more organized though. There were several complaints about orders being wrong, so pay close attention to the screen when they are taking your order.

So the place was shut down not for rodents but for a cockroach problem back in Dec 2015/Jan 2015. Supposedly it’s a ton better now that corporate management is more involved. Still I like the spot, though the drinks are a bit higher priced than their other store locations(i guess because of location), which is stopping me from giving it a solid 4. At $ 4.75 for a large plain black tea with no sugar + lychee jelly, it’s a treat I can’t have every day now =(. Either that or bring back the lollipacks :-D For the management — if you read your Unilocal reviews, dust the top of your paintings in your store — the tile 3×3 pictures look nice look nice, but no one likes to see a thick layer of dust out where the customers are.

It was just okay. Nothing special. We were hungry and the GF was craving popcorn chicken so we came by for grub and sat at the only open table. The popcorn chicken was actually good(came with tofu, rice, and broccoli) but when I got up to ask for a side of sweet chili sauce, I was told they were out. Not 10 minutes later, another customer grabbed their to go order an asked for sweet chili sauce. Lo and behold, the person(a different person that I previously asked) behind the counter grabbed a side of sauce for him in 2 seconds. I was like«did that seriously just happen and the person before was too f***ing lazy to grab that?» Anyway, the wonton noodle soup was a decent portion and tasted okay but was a bit bland. Tasted much better with sriracha! The Thai iced tea was probably my favorite part of the meal! Overall, service was fine(aside from that one incident with the lazy employee) and parking is free in the small structure connected to the strip. I was secretly wishing inside that the GF changed her mind last minute and wanted to go get ramen next door lol. Next time.

Best Taiwanese snack /fast good in West LA. I am not a huge Boba /milk tea person so this review will focus on their good. Since I come here frequently, solely for food anyway. I love their Taiwanese sausage bowl. It’s surprisingly authentic and delicious. It comes with a couple slices of yellow radish, a tea braised egg, some Sauerkraut(fermented vegetables), and best of all the minced pork and Taiwanese sausage. The rice is also pretty well done. It’s not overly soggy or dry. Some days it’s more perfect than the other, but in general it’s pretty consistent. And way better than may other places in town. Everything on top of the rice is as good as it can get. The pricing is incredibly affordable at $ 4.25 /bowl. To get my daily greens intake, I always get a side of vegetables to go with my bowl(semi flavored boiled broccolis) light yet Delicious. Their popcorn chicken is also dangerously good. They totally deserve 5 star for the food. Service, ambiance, and cleanliness are all above average. Good over all.

Epitome of worst boba shop! Honestly, I don’t know how this place is still running with their rude servers, disgusting boba, sugar-loaded drinks and inedible food. ATMOSPHRE Spacious and welcoming. Perhaps the only thing I liked about this visit. SERVICE No greetings. I felt welcomed as my «friendly» server took my order with absolutely no eye contact. NOT. It was as if she hated me, even though we never met. FOOD/DRINKS Whitegourd black tea– taste like grass. No tea flavor, just leaves you feeling like you got a mouth full of grass. 0⁄5 Lychee green tea– clearly they use artificial lychee syrup for this. Slightly better than whitegourd black tea(a.k.a. grass tea) but went to trash after about 3 sips. 1⁄5 Popcorn chicken tasted like someone’s left over. Calamari was just plain nasty. CONCLUSION Extremely disappointed by everything. I won’t be back.

Not my favorite boba place. Their teas are super sweet that I could hardly taste the tea. Their boba is bit harder than the boba place nearby(CoCo). Since it’s located on Sawtelle and Olympic, you’re better off getting your boba from either Coco or Volcano tea.
