I frequently come here on my lunch break. In addition to being delicious and fairly-priced, it’s never busy and service is very attentive. I hope they thrive.

Lunch special is awesome. Only $ 7! I don’t usually like Pad Thai but this was pretty awesome. Not too much peanuts and didn’t smell weird like other pad Thais I’ve had. My girlfriend got the vegetable stir fry with beef and they both came with a salad. Good food good service, awesome price. Good find!

I love this place so much, I can eat here every day! I come here for the chicken noodle soup. It’s better than phở! So addicting. I’ve never had a problem with any of the food. Every time I order something I’ve never tried before, it’s still really good. I don’t understand why some people left bad reviews on the food when this is one of the most authentic Thai food places out there in Los Angeles. Don’t expect for service to be super fast during rush hour because the dad cooks and delivers the food. I think people expect them to have like 10 workers when there’s literally 2 people doing all the work. However, their customer service is great!

Delivery was fast with reasonable prices! The portions are decent sized. I ordered the coconut chicken soup which was not bad but I wish it was a little more flavorful and spicy.

My friend and I went to this restaurant today. He had been there several times over the years and has been telling me how great the food was. Well, I had to agree with him. The food was extremely good and the service was great. We were unable to eat it all so we had to put it in «to go boxes» to take back to the office. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will certainly go there again when I am in the neighborhood.

The food has gotten gradually more lazy. Last night I ordered my final meal from here. I don’t usually leave reviews for food establishments but I’ve probably eaten here 15 or so times. Delivery is always fast and friendly. But my most recent meal was hardly a meal. Hard noodles, tasteless chicken, bad soup. Disappointed.

I absolutely LOVE this place! At one point I was eating her at least 3 times a week. Get their Lunch specials which comes with rice/salad/wonton. I would recommend the following items to try: Pepper Beef(Spicy) HOT Wings Wontons This is a very small restaurant and the delivery might take awhile, but I am a fan of supporting local businesses. And everyone who works here is amazing. I will always be a fan.

I asked for extra sauce on my pad Thai since it’s normally super dry at other places. The lady reassures me that their pad Thai is really saucey and shouldn’t require extra sauce. I trust this lady, and instead of checking I leave. I get home and am irritated as hell when I open this joint. This pad Thai is dry as fuuuuuuuh! They get three stars for their good customer service, perfect spice level and their weirdly delicious fried tofu! I’ve NEVER had such amazing, juicy, fried tofu before. AND! The spice level was perfect. I couldn’t give them two because of the tofu and spice level, but I couldn’t give them four since it was super dry and of average taste. All in all, not bad!

Who are you and what did you do with the awesome restaurant that used to be here? Granted, things change, and I haven’t been here in a couple of years, but it’s not the same tasty, clean, delicious place it was in 2012. Pad Thai: my staple dish for testing the culinary mettle of a new, improved, or owner-changed Thai place. It was noodle soup on a plate. It’s flavor was sour… the fermented, rotten kind. The bean sprouts tasted like they’d been kept in the fridge for about 2 months. Chicken satay: very difficult to mess up, and yet they succeeded. Seems they used the same fermented sour sauce overflow from the pad Thai and slathered it on microwaved chicken. It’s a challenge to find poor quality Thai food, but if you’re looking, this is the place.

I will never order from here again. If I didn’t order delivery, I would have asked for my money back. I included pictures, so feel free to see for yourself. Crab rangoon totally over cooked, too hard, with a powdery consistancy… as if they had been sitting in a window all day. The Wontons were not over cooked, but they were so thin… I thought these were supposed to have filling! I was most excited about kung pao chicken. When I opened it up, there was watered down au ju in the bottom, and just plain chicken and veggies on top. I added the chile sauce to try and add some spice… but it was just awful. WAY too plain to be kung pao chicken. My friend ordered the Orange chicken. The chicken was pale, and the sauce was also very watered down. He described it as if they had poured the sauce in first, and then put the chicken on top. the first many bites had no flavor and he had to dip the chicken into the sauce in the bottom of the container. The delivery time was great… but the food was just awful. $ 40 of food… all gone to waste. ugh.

This is by far the best Thai food I’ve ever had! The flavors are wonderful, and service great! We love supporting a local, family run business — and little Jasmine is just so adorable!

Delicious! Can’t vouch for dine-in service, but delivery was quick and the food piping hot and packed with flavor. Definitely one of the best Thai meals I’ve had in Los Angeles and I am looking forward to working my way through their menu :) Wontons were super crisp and fresh and the pad thai packed some great warmth — I always order the highest spice level at restaurants, which is often disappointing. This was the perfect level of lip-stinging heat that just enhanced the flavor of everything rather than overpowering it. Prices very reasonable as well.

The best Thai food I’ve ever had. Don’t be fooled by its appearance. The food is top notch, generous portions and operated an adorable family. Between three of us we had pad Thai, green curry, fried rice and a plethora of entrees. Much more than we expected. The cream cheese fried wonton and green dumplings were to die for! The service was perfect and so charming. Run by a small family for the last two years, their smiles and customer service is on point. You may be lucky enough to elicit a cheeky grin from their adorable daughter. I’ve used Unilocal for a while now, but this place has caused me to write my first review. Also a big plus for me was that almost the entire menu had vegetarian options. So the choice and customisation is awesome! Great food, amazing service, full bellies!

Glorious tiny shop with tasty savory food and insanely cheap lunch specials. At under $ 9 for a lunch special and an iced tea, these are almost Thai prices. I waited maybe 9 minutes for the food. Not bad. The Yellow Curry was the bomb although I added some pepper for zip. Also black pepper activates the healthy effects of Turmeric in the curry which is an anti-cancer agent. Tastes great AND fights cancer? Count me in!

Best in Hollywood… but I don’t tell many ppl bc I like that it’s small and quiet. I walk there from my place, but delivery is convenient if I’m working from home. Fresh veggies and GREAT curry! This is a family run business, so if you’re not ok with their 2.5 year old smiling from behind the counter or playing hide-n-seek then this place isn’t for you.(evil laugh) — This Husband/Wife team are 5 out of 5 stars on kindness, service, hospitality and consistency. Shhhh… don’t tell too many people! ;)

Everything on their lunch special menu is great, healthy-tasting and cheap so I just alternate each day. It’s pretty much never crowded and the service is superb! Also nice that it’s open late for a low-key spot in the area before going to a show.

Slooooooow. We had a confirmed receipt of the order with an estimated time of 45 minutes. After talking to Eat24 several times and over 95 minutes, a woman called me and said it would be another 20 minutes at least. She said my food had gone out over an hour before(yum, old, cold AND really late) So we didn’t get to actually ever get to try the food because I had a meeting and had to leave. We had over two and a half hours for lunch when we ordered and never got to have lunch because of the lousy customer service. Won’t ever bother with this place again. I don’t care if they offer the greatest culinary experience of my life, if they can’t manage to get it to me, it is a fail. They asked me to please not leave a review. I wonder how many people they don’t ever show up for agree to keep their secret? Huge fail. ** Their comment about«my last order» below makes no sense. I’ve only just moved to this area and have never ordered from them before. And an apology for being«late» is acceptable for 15 – 30 minutes, I’m not unreasonable. But being 75 minutes late(actually never showing up, I gave up and cancelled after two hours) an apology and a joke about their secret recipe is a little lame. Judging from other reviews, I’m not the first time this has happened. It appears to be a hit or miss with both delivery and quality. Telling us the truth so we could have made arrangements for lunch before our meeting instead of lying to Eat24 would have been more professional and I would be more understanding. But this place just kept telling Eat24 they were almost here — almost here for over an hour? I’m less than a mile away. Obviously they’re a small business trying to make it and I get that. But know before you order that you may or may not ever get your food. Hopefully it is good enough to take the gamble. I won’t ever find out. They’ve lost us as customers before we ever took one bite — bummer because I love Thai and this is close by.

It’s an amazing lil hole in the wall. The chef cooks to order your selection. It’s tiny but very hospitable. The prices are great & the food is superb! We are there for lunch. I ordered the pad thai spicy with the coconut rice, yum! Everybody ordered something from the lunch menu. They all were impressed! Great place to stop in for lunch. I highly recommend!!!

I believe this place used to be The Bangkok Restaurant. Not sure if it’s the same owners but it probably is. Since I lived down the street from this place I’m glad they’re still around because their food is good and it’s nice to just walk up the street to get Thai food as opposed to driving to Thai town or go west on Sunset and try and find parking for the restaurants out there. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy to say the least. If you’re trying to get a gathering of 8 or more people you may find it challenging. Please note that there’s no parking on Highland from 4−7pm Mon-Fri. Not sure what the parking situation is around the neighborhood.
