Came in on a random Wednesday. They weren’t open to the public that day, but I caught some employees on their break inside, and they let me in anyways. Copped a velvet dress for $ 30(over 60% off!) and copped a PVC underbust corset for $ 25(over 60% off, as well.) They mostly have M, L, and XL sizes available, but I was able to find a few XS and S for myself.

Horrible customer service. Have a problem with your order? Don’t bother calling them, facebook messaging them, direct messaging them on twitter/IG, etc., because they WON’T even bother responding! I left all of my contact info and order info in a voicemail. Absolutely NOONE reached out to me! Their customer service email does not even work. It’s like they know they mess up often, and are trying to avoid fixing their mistakes. What a joke! I would give 0 stars if I could.

I almost don’t want to even give this place a review — it’s a total score and the deals are insane! Great collection of punk, steampunk, and old punk clothing and the prices are just too good to be true… Trunk sales also so get on their mailing list first… Nevermind. Ignore everything I wrote. This place is boring — you probably wouldn’t like it here anyway. Especially if you’re an XL like me.

I used to order online on house of widow then I had to go and exchange to different size so I went there an fit is pretty interesting because it’s the ‘warehouse’, not like a retail store but they have EVERYTHING. I was waiting and I actually saw a dress that I wanted to get online but which was unable to order since it’s sold out so you might be able to go and grab what you wanted before! They do have annual sale daily, accept credit&debit cards and cash as well. Everyone was so nice and friendly which made me feel very comfortable to shop and didn’t get bothered. The only problem is the location like if you don’t have a car, it’s tricky to get there. you have to get off at Pico /Aliso Station and walk for awhile. But they do definitely have more stuff than online so it’s great to go and check it out. I wear more of classic or edgy gothic look but they have more of like street fashion wear, so those who are into it would definitely love it. They close pretty early around 6pm. Annnd they have warehouse sale this week on june 7th from 10am to 7 pm and 11 am to 4 pm on june 8th so you guys might wanna go and get mega cheap stuff and never-before-seen samples fo sure! Oh and those who have the cars. Yeah. they have parking lot and it’s awesome.

I looooove Lip Service, Kill City, and all the other brands they sell here. They have an annual sale(I’m not going to tell you, I’m keeping it to myself!!) apart from their discounted stuff on a daily. They take both cash and credit.(I recommend using cash on their annual sale) I haven’t encountered one employee being mean or rude. That’s what I like about this place. They’re helpful and help you find a size you need. You can also try on the clothing before purchasing. From steampunk to gothic to «regular clothes» you’ll find it here. Even some hidden gems that weren’t able to make it to their retail stores :) As for parking, there’s plenty of it through the gates! So no need to park on the street or pay for parking in little tokyo.

I got lost on the way. as well as a traffic ticket. I was excited !! The warehouse itself is a bit tricky to find as there wasn’t a huge sign on the street. You have to go inside a gated parking area, then go into the warehouse doors, same as where the staff enter. The staff are either super friendly and helpful, or they just ignore you completely. When I arrived I saw a large dresser/bookshelf thing that had a bunch of clearance accessories. I scored– 2 vinyl bow headbands @1 $ each. Lacy sleeves @1 $ Pink PVC nurse headband @2 $ . The clothing for sale is in a few designated areas. There is a «change room» that is basically a space under the stairs that has been curtained off. But its hot, its dark, the mirror is not inside so its useless if your trying on any kinda lingerie. The girl who helped me also said i could use the second staff bathroom which was so much better, it was large, it was cooler & it had a mirror. I ended up getting a very cool red vinyl animal print ruffle dress with black PVC bow. it matched one of the dollar headbands ;) however it was 80 $ I also got a cool garter belt 15 $, a cool matching mini skirt 18 $ and a black PVC waist cincher as well. 15 $ They had some well worn shoes for 5 $ but they were way to worn. They also had some cool wigs but they were 50 $ and up and I thought that was a bit much. I will be back for sure the next time I go to LA. I was also told that anything that they have in the catalogue, they can pull from the warehouse for you in about 15 m. Very cool. If you are a a Lip Service fan — be sure to check it out!

A bit too steampunk & goth for my taste. But for those who are into it… they do a pretty good job.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. Lipservice is a brand i’ve been wearing since i was a teenager, and i STILL have some items from them ten years later that haven’t fell apart and stood the fashionable test of time. The prices here are cheaper than you’ll find in the stores(especially if you’re an out of towner like me) and you can occasionally grab some pretty rad stuff if you dig through the racks. Last time i was here i found a sample of a jacket they never ended up manufacturing. Their online store does have some pretty good deals too but i find their sizing a bit inconsistent at times, so coming here gives you the best of both worlds: cheap prices AND you can try everything on first. I don’t drive but that’s never been a problem. The warehouse is right next to a Metro station, so if you want to plan a shopping day like me and some girlfriends did, go to Lipservice, then take the Metro to the stop near the fashion district and go nuts. By the end of the day you’ll be giddy from a shopping overload!

The Lip Service brand of clothes are indeed one of my favorites ever! Right next to cybergoth online clothes store Cryoflesh. The clothes tend to lean more towards a goth style but there are so many styles and group or themed lines with them that the variety as far as style goes is wide and varied. I tend to use their website of since I hate to drive around in LA. The prices can be a tad steep depending what it is you want but they always seem to have a great sale going on with marvelous discounts. Staff is always on top of things for your requests and needs regardless if you go to the warehouse or if you shop online at their website.

The drive to get to the Lip Service warehouse can be an interesting experience(it’s not in the greatest area) but it’s well worth it. I’ve found some amazing deals at the sample sales I’ve attended over the last few years. The clothing is most appropriate for goth/emo/rock/punk clubwear, although I’ve found some great items that are entirely work appropriate(mostly from the Blacklist line). If you buy from the website, be prepared to pay a lot. If you go to the warehouse you will pay just a fraction of the price but the selection is more limited, although you never know what you will find. Last time I was there most of the items were size XL or Plus size, which is a big find for the crowd that feels boxed in by shopping at Torrid. Other times you may find at item that has an imperfection or is missing a button but still wearable or repairable. Lip Service sizing can be wonky so it’s imperative that you try on items before buying.

Been a fan of their clothing since I was a teen, long time ago. Just all around bombastic threads if your aesthetics have a rock n’ roll/goth/punk streak. Good quality– their vinyl clothes hold up pretty well with care. They *are* bit overpriced, but I think their unique and kick-ass designs are worth the price. Always always check out their closeout section on their web store for details. I’ve always shopped online with them– they’ve screwed up my order before but have always been very good about making corrections. In my experience, their dresses tend to run small, their bottoms tend to run truw to size/large for women.
