If I could give 0 stars I would. I got a California burger. And the buns where burnt! Not just a little burnt but the entire bread was black. Very disgusting. Never coming here again!

Breakfast burritos are totally my thing, and Lily’s green truck parked on Wilshire has got it down. Keep in mind though that they have quite an extensive menu of everything. I have come here for lunch in the past, and it’s $ 5 for a breakfast burrito, which they serve not just during breakfast. It comes with a bunch of fixings, including eggs, cheese, hash browns, and a meat of your choice. Most recently, I politely asked to get cilantro added to my burrito, and it made everything that much better. I’ve gotten both sausage and chorizo before, and both were heavenly in their own way. What’s even better is that they grill the burrito so it comes out really hot and everything is perfectly melted and mixed in. My only minor gripe is that the time I got sausage, they didn’t really cut it up as much, so the large pieces of sausage patty, while delicious, took a bit of skill to eat so as not to create a mess. Because they do everything made-to-order, you might have to wait a good ten minutes for your breakfast burrito, but let me tell you, I think it’s well worth it. And all for a whopping $ 5. Do not come here all the time though because the burrito is kind of heavy and probably not the healthiest for you. It also may induce food coma while you’re trying to get back to work. Be warned! Service: Woman taking orders is friendly and bilingual. You order first and then pay when the food comes out. They also take credit card! Bottom line: Breakfast burritos for the win!

I usually don’t eat from trucks but since my choices are limited around here, I thought I’d give this truck a try and I’ve been back to it many times. The prices are very good, the selection would make other trucks cry. The taste and freshness of the food is really good. This is coming from an extremely picky eater.

Sometimes I’m not so sure about menus that seem to have everything under the sun(burritos! teriyaki chicken! turkey burger!). But this truck is actually a really good lunch option. I recently tried a bunch of different meals because they had a $ 2 promotion going for a bit, not sure if that’s still happening or not. Anyway, I like the tacos. There’s a combo that comes with two tacos, salad, and fruit. the tacos come with cheese, which is not traditional but is delicious. They make a similar combo with sopes that is good, too. I’ve also tried the salad that comes with grilled chicken – delicious! Also comes with fruit. There’s a turkey burger on a whole wheat bun that is a good healthy option, if you like that kind of thing. So, if you are in K-town and looking for a quick, tasty lunch option, definitely give Lilly’s a try! Most items cost $ 6 or $ 7, service is quick and friendly, and the food is consistently fresh and really good. I’ve also seen this truck over by the Hollywood Bowl, so if you don’t get around to packing a picnic it’s a good option that is much more affordable than anything else around there.

Thought i’d take a chance on one of the trucks outside my apt on Wilshire for lunch. Ordered a lengua burrito and. the lengua tasted like it was on the verge of spoiling. The beans tasted like rosarita, u know like that thick chunky dry texture? I don’t know, maybe the burgers are good? Burrito was ready in like less than 2 minutes. Good for when you’re on the go? This truck is always here, it’s gotta be doing something right. Just not the lengua burrito.
