Beautiful store. Every piece is well made and looks great on. The owner designs many of the pieces, including some amazing, conservative yet modern dresses that I just love. Her jewelry is ultra-​delicate perfection.
I love buying local, thoughtful clothing.

Visit. This. Place. I loved everything in it! The owner designs gorgeous, tiny, delicate, feminine jewelry that’s just perfect. I bought two wonderfully cut & super soft tops for summer. The white tee is an upgraded twist & looks so elegant!

. I usually avoid going to small places like this one bc I often feel judged and the atmosphere is so unfriendly unless you buy something. Two lovely women helped with fit and suggested pieces without being pushy. Cannot wait to wear what I bought!

Beautifully curated shop — unique, gorgeous pieces. The perfect place to pick up gifts, for yourself or loved ones. But the best part about the store is the customer service! Pilar is wonderful, and Sasha takes great pride in the store — she truly takes care of her customers. Hurray!

I spend way too much money here. It’s a particular sensibility, and to my surprise, it is working for me at the moment. Some days I’m embarrassed to go in because I bought everything I’m wearing there. There is at least one item in the store that I fell in love with and think about constantly and have thus far resisted getting it because of the $$. So I just think about it how smart it would look…
Lot parking makes it so attractive.

I really can’t say enough about this store. The lovely Pilar was working when I strolled in. She’s probably THE MOST HELPFUL PERSON WHO HAS ASSISTED ME IN A STORE. She is knowledgable about the brands they carry, the fabrics that will work for your lifestyle & isn’t at all pushy. Nothing worked for me but she’s so great I WANTED to buy something from her. She also spoke wonderfully about the owner who deserves a standing ovation for realizing that customer service & product knowledge makes customers for life. This store not only carries super cute ish but you’ll feel great buying something from such lovely people.

Best little store in Eagle Rock! The staff is A+++ and the owner is kind, genuine and really fun to converse with. On top of an awesome selection of clothing and jewelry. Highly recommended :)

I love me some local boutiques and Letters from LA is a good one! You will only find quality, locally produced goods here, which usually means a higher price tag, but there are some steals (particularly in the accessories department). I fell in love with all the jewelry and would love to collect all the necklaces that represent LA neighborhoods — super cute! The woman working there was super personable and helpful.
2 Tips:
— Check-​in via your Unilocal app and get $ 5 off $ 25! I got to take home a pair of pretty earrings for a great price!
— If you give them your birthday at checkout, you’ll be sent a discount for that day!
The overall style is boho-​hipster-​casual. There are a lot of gift-​worthy items as well and a sale section in the back. Definitely a great neighborhood boutique that I’ll be returning to!

High quality, unique designs, comfortable, chic, timeless, well edited. Saves me a trip from Eagle Rock to 3^rd Street between La Cienega/​La Brea in LA to shop, one of the best women’s clothing shops East of La Brea. Merchandise rotates so it’s great to stop by periodically. I have found that the quality and style is so enduring that full price is fair but if you are fortunate to buy something on sale, it’s a huge bargain!
Every person who works there gives me honest opinions and has me try on things that I never would have picked out… they know their pieces and if the color and the fit will be good on you even before you have tried it on.
I’m in love with the new Letters from LA line. The pants are so comfortable and stylish– go from work to play and back. So be sure to check it out.

Seriously a wonderful shop. Love the merchandise, LOVE the décor, just love the vibe. I went in to get a gift, but had a hard time choosing as I loved everything in the store and wanted it for myself. I bought a gorgeous, high-​quality scarf as a gift (the recipient raved about it, she said she’s worn it a handful of times and she’s had it a week). It was wrapped up super cute (for free). Definitely will be back soon.

Absolutely LOVE this store! What a treasure to find it. Sasha has impeccable taste, and as some of the other reviewers said, a «GREAT EYE»! Not to mention super friendly and approachable. Also I appreciate that not everything in the store is a size 2! I will have to save my $ for those great looking jeans that feel like heaven. Freakin cute ass stuff, BUT ubber pricey! Small box of matches — $ 26. Whatttt!!! Super cute items, fashionable trends, and lovely clothes & jewelry… But WAY too pricey for me! Hence, they loose on star.

I’ve passed by this place over and over, and have meant to go in, but never did until a few days ago. Before I went in, I searched Letters from LA on Facebook, and browsed through the pictures of what was in the store. I saw these cute leather bags I was hoping they still carried.
Finally stepped into the store, and met the owner Sasha who was warm, welcoming, and very helpful in picking right pieces for whatever occasion. She also (rightfully) boasted about being the first in the U.S. to carry the Ellen Truijen leather bags. [BTW, Sasha, if you’re reading this, I blame (and by blame, I really mean THANK) you for my new obsession w/​Ellen Truijen’s bags. I’ll be back soon.] Came out with a Greylin silk dress and 4 Ways bag.
Definitely wanted to stay longer and try more things on (I didn’t even get to look at the shoes), but had a little munchkin with me who was getting hungry. Which brings me to another great point about this place — for those moms, or in my case aunts with kids, or for whatever random reason you have a kid on you, Sasha keeps them entertained w/​Bailey, her dog, a box of toys and those special markers which only write on a specific canvas so the kids don’t end up vandalizing the store. =P

A little out of my price range for clothing but the accessories are killer and they have a slew of fun quirky takeaway items like unique chalkboard shaped magnets (mustaches, California, the United States) and cute laptop cases, etc. Definitely worth a stop in if you’re around the ER!

I am the happiest of campers having discovered this gem of a boutique while wandering about Eagle Rock after work the other day. The shop is well-​curated and reasonably-​priced, and Becca, the salesperson who helped me, was warm and unpushy. So not LA!
Left with a jacket, a dress AND a pair of shoes having paid what one might have paid for one item in some boutique on 3^rd Street or Abbott Kinney.
I’ll never have nothing to wear again! LOVE.

This is my new favorite shop in LA right now. It’s not overbearing with tons of clothes stuffed in racks. She has a nice selection of brands, prices, and her accessories are fantastic. The store is simple but elegant and beautifully done! The owner Sasha is a sweetheart, very helpful and wonderful at suggesting, and helping you style things out. She also has her own line that she carries called Saffie. Also very cute and reasonably priced. I hope she continues to thrive and do well. This store is just way too good!

If I had to give Letters from LA a letter grade… it would be an A+!
I’m so sweet on this new store! Super awesome elegant, dare I say swellegant, store in the old Lilly Simone site in little old Eagle Rock. Ladies, and lovers of ladies, come and shop this welcomed addition to East of the LA river for some style. Harkens the vibe of the East Village in East LA.
Really well chosen pieces that work with the Eastside vibe and budget. I just SCORED the sassiest of silk dresses by Myne here for about 15% lower than Nordstrom’s!
The owner is warm and helpful. She has a great eye for comfortable and beautifully designed clothes. I’m afraid that she wasn’t given a chance to suggest anything because I just started spazzing out over her inventory the moment I crossed her threshold. But I am confident that given the opportunity she would a good confidante for consulting what to wear.
And the handbags! (Mmmm the handbags!) Really fun, really well made and really really great! And a limited, but fun selection shoes as well!
