Came to MOCA just to try the Lemonade. The location was great however, I thought it was overhyped. We only came to try the lemonades, but the food looked great. We found the lemonades to be very refreshing but a little on the sweet side. Great during the summer but nothing I would go out of my way to get.

Always wanted to try Lemonade and finally got the chance to. My boyfriend got the guava flavor and I got the blueberry mint flavor. Both flavors were very yummy, especially after exploring MOCA.

Let me start off by saying that my first time at this particular location was great. However, second is not the best in this case.(Second time, I mean.) I invited my friend along who had not yet tried Lemonade before. I assured her that I had been here before, and the food was great. The first thing that threw me off was the employees. They did not seem like they wanted to be there, and it felt really awkward when ordering. I ordered the mac & cheese, original lemonade, and a salted caramel macaron. My friend had the salmon, mac & cheese, and soba noodles w/kimchi. When we ate our food, we both felt sick afterwards. My friend’s salmon and noodles were cold, and the macaroni and cheese wasn’t that great. I don’t know if today was just an off day, but it definitely turned me off Lemonade… at least this store.

I love this location, right in front of the MOCA entrance(which is underground) so you can’t see it from street level. You must go down the escalators and there it is to the left! The Red Orange Lemonade is a MUST!!! If ur driving down DTLA on a sunny afternoon, it’s a bliss to stop by and have some to go! Also a great option to stop for a lunch break after a day at the museum… Their cupcakes are delicious, and the food menu changes every now and then(lots of salads, salmon, pastas, etc) and it’s all quite tasty!(Food is served as in a cafeteria, tables are outside).

Came here yesterday at around 1pm. Overall my experience here was pretty well. Lemonade is a small shop but it has many options. I got the blood orange lemonade and a breakfast sandwich which included egg bacon and American cheese. The sand which was pretty filling and blood orange lemonade was not too sweet and a more refreshing type of drink. Tips for you if you have not been here before you can sample almost anything when it comes to lemonade and hot foods or the salads. I would recommend this place if you are waiting for eggslut and the line is too long not a far walk.

If you visit MOCA and you’re in need of a quick meal or a snack, this is a great solution. This location is smaller and has fewer food options, but it’s still great to have it in downtown LA in the middle of everything. It came in handy to us recently, while we were waiting in a long line to wait to visit the Broad across the street. Grabbing a Guava lemonade made the wait more bearable and pleasant. Decent customer service, cute location.

I was really disappointed by how salty their arugula and pair salad was yesterday. I couldn’t taste the flavor of the arugula which meant they over seasoned their food. I also had roasted broccoli with feta which was ok, and their Hawaiian Tuna Poke was pretty mediocre. I did not get the clean eating experience I crave for when I go to these healthier casual dining restaurants. I also had their cucumber mint lemonade which was probably the only thing I enjoyed.

Yummy & refreshing cappuccino & food, a great escape between visiting MOCA& The Broad! Nice quiet shady patio just below the MOCA ticket booth at the uptown MOCA entrance. Recommend!

To die for. We went here for lunch, and can’t wait to come back. We had: Wild arugula, Asian pears, blue cheese, sherry vinaigrette Orecchiette pasta, cherry tomatoes, perline mozzarella Vegetarian chili White truffle mac n’ cheese Cucumber mint lemonade Needless to say, we were STUFFED and still had leftovers! Everything was fresh and delicious, and I highly recommend Lemonade to all.

Guava Lemonade: It was okay at first… after a while you can tell it just has a ton of sugar and, I realize it’s lemonade, but perhaps it was a bit too acidic. I started to feel a slight burn with every sip and with the combo of sugar/acidity, the inside of my mouth and teeth got sticky. When I grinded my teeth, it started to get that feeling of nails on chalkboard… i don’t know if that makes sense haha. Either way, could just be me. Shop: Small, quaint, clean, awesome, etc. Parking: I walked from my office so I really don’t know where you would park if you’re just visiting Lemonade.

Hot day and waiting for the Infinity Room, wanted some lemonade. Located on the bottom area of MOCA. Set up like your typical Lemonade. Old Fashioned Lemonade — $ 3 — Tart and sweet, but balanced nice. Great for a hot LA day.

After leaving MOCA, and before heading to the Japanese Museum — I decided to stop by here for a lil snack. I ended up getting the Cucumber Mint Lemonade with a pistachio macaron. If you’re only getting drinks and desserts, you can move to the front of the cashier stand. The Cucumber Mint Lemonade $ 3.00 = fantastic! It was sweet, refreshing, and healthy! My drink, I tasted more celery, but I loved it, woohoo! Unfortunately, they don’t let you sample the various lemonades here unlike the Pasadena location. Or at least when I asked to sample the Mint Cucumber, the server just looked at me like I was outta my mind, lol! The Pistachio Macaron $ 4.00 was the only one they had in stock today. The creamy filling was generous and absolutely delicious. So much, I had to split the macaron shells up and eat it like a cream cheesed bagel, lol! The shell wasn’t as soft like the Pasadena location, but not as hard and rough, and so I was happy with that. My lil snack gave me the boost to move onto my next museum adventure, yay! Located next to MOCA, you cannot miss the giant, yellow umbrellas. This was a small place, but they got some outdoor seating. Though, a lot of people mainly get their meals to go, especially, for those working around here, or standing in line while waiting to get into MOCA. Parking: I parked on 2nd and Olive parking lot since I was going to both the Broad and MOCA. Definitely worth coming back here if I’m around here again.

After a visit to The Broad, we looked at Unilocal to find any restaurants nearby. We were in luck as Lemonade was right across the street, located next to the LACMA entrance(down the stairs). Lemonade had been on my «to try» list for quite some time and I was so happy to finally find a chance to try it out! Granted, this location is a bit on the teeny tiny side. I have never been to other locations but I cannot imagine them being the same size as this one, especially the Pasadena location. Not good for big groups. If you come on a weekend, try getting an available table first as there are only a few. The staff are really nice and let you try any samples first before you make a decision for the«Marketplace» items. The customer in front of me was also a first timer and so we were able to learn about the Lemonade process together. Different Categories: Marketplace(1 – 6 Portions) Hot Market Veggies Land + Sea Right-Sized Sandwiches Braises Hot Portions Market Tossed Salads Desserts Beverages I ordered to share: Watermelon Rosemary Lemonade Marketplace 2 Portions(1. Cauliflower, Golden Raisins, Almonds, Curry and 2. Orecchiette Pasta, Tomato, Perline Mozzarella) Right-Sized Sandwich(Herb Grilled Chicken, Mozzarella, Basil Pesto, Arugula, Ciabatta) White Truffle Mac ‘N Cheese Friends always described Lemonade to me as a higher end cafeteria and surely enough, it is. You look, you choose, and you order portions of what you would like to eat and get them on a tray at the register. Also, how could I also not try a lemonade since I’m at Lemonade! If you aren’t sure of what to order, you could also ask for a sample before deciding on one. The watermelon rosemary lemonade was an interesting flavor, not a favorite, but I am always open to trying new things! The prices are a bit high, I spent about $ 21. All the dishes were very flavorful and felt that they were made with high quality ingredients.

Headed to the MOCA, Lemonade is strategically located at their entrance, wasn’t really hungry or thirsty but some sort of pastry/cookie always works! Too much to choose from and most all looked good I asked the girl what’s their best seller and she didn’t hesitate to say the Fudge Brownie so that’s what I got. If you like rich, dense chocolate this might be for you personally I found it a bit sweet, it took me a while to eat half… the other half was donated to the neighborhood pigeons.

It’s lemonade. With some flavoring if you want it. In a pretty cup. Located in LA. Of course that’ll be what you pay for. I thought it was alright and would stop by on a hot summer day if I was passing by. I didn’t try any of their food, but their location was pretty quaint!

This location is right next door to the MOCA. It’s smaller than the other locations, but has an ample outdoor patio for customers. I ordered the butter milk chicken sandwich with the side of red cabbage, citrus Kale salad and truffle mac and cheese. I chose the blueberry mint lemonade for my drink. My chicken in the sandwich came out cold! The sandwich itself was ok, salty and plain. The sides were excellent! I could eat the truffle mac and cheese for days. My blueberry lemonade was tasty and refreshing, but I think the watermelon is better.

I love Lemonade! To be honest though, I did not know this one existed until they were a vendor for the Hello Kitty Hungry Hunt last year. And to continue with my honesty, I have not been back since then. Not because of anything that they did, but because there is a Lemonade in Pasadena and that one is much more convenient for me. The Pasadena one is also a lot bigger than this one. This particular Lemonade is located right by MOCA so it would be a good stop for lunch before or after a museum visit. Parking in DTLA is never pleasant but I managed to find street parking a block away. For the Hello Kitty Hungry Hunt, Lemonade offered a special Hello Kitty lemonade that they called«Hello Cherry.» I am not a fan of cherries or anything cherry-flavoured, but the lemonade was actually not bad.(My favourite lemonade at Lemonade? Blood orange!) The lemonade comes with a collectible pin of Hello Kitty holding a glass of lemonade. When I went, luckily there wasn’t much of a line so I did not have to wait long for my lemonade or my pin. The only hold-up actually was that there was just one person working the counter and he had to refill the lemonade machine. He was really nice, and there is a nice outdoor dining area to enjoy the lemonade/meal. I wouldn’t mind coming here if I was in the area checking out MOCA but apart from that I will stick to my Pasadena Lemonade :)

I’m a huge fan of Lemonade and this location is close to my work place. I think it’s a great idea to have this restaurant near the museum since walking around can get tiring. The food choices can be seen as bit on the high end but it’s quite delicious. Lemonade is located downstairs and you will spot it by its bright yellow umbrellas. The tables and chairs are metal but since it’s been so hot recently, it can be quite hot. The best deals are the platters. Even though the prices are a bit high, the workers always make sure to pack as much as they can into the containers. My favorites are the grilled salmon in the avocado, seared ahi tuna, and actually, a lot of other things now that I think about it. Anyways, the food is really delicious and their lemonades are even better.

Kinda pricey in general and they have a small selection at this location because it’s a pretty small. But it’s nice that it’s conveniently located near MOCA if you want to grab a bite. I think most of their selections they have here are their most popular salads such as the pineapple chicken, broccoli, kale, and butternut squash. Those are also my favorites I have tried at another Lemonade location. Cucumber mint is my to-go lemonade drink. For 2 portions and a lemonade, the price is a little less than $ 10. And also, you know the drill with parking in DTLA. :[

Follow the signs right down the stairs at the entrance of MOCA, and you’ll notice Lemonade tucked into the corner. Their menu rotates and although I don’t know how often, their winter 2015 menu is available on their website. Basically it offers stews, salads, sandwiches, a small assortment of desserts, and of course lemonade. Remember that one portion = 2 scoops, so you can split the portion into two different salads. There isn’t anything else I could say about Lemonade that hasn’t already been mentioned, so I will share the two main issues I have with Lemonade — 1. The cafeteria style set-up is a cute concept but by no means unique. Luckily there were only a few parties inside trying to zig zag and navigate through each other to get a look at the changing options available. As others have noted, it is an incredibly small space. There were however labels and signs with pricing clearly marked that helped with the confusion. Also I don’t know about you, but my first and immediate thought was that a cafeteria wouldn’t be able to serve food cooked-to-order…which then was confirmed when the customer in front of me walked back in while I was paying to ask that her food be warmed up. 2. The prices in relation to the quality of food. I had a gimmicky, ginormous pistachio macaron($ 4), original mac n cheese($ 3.75), and cucumber mint($ 3). The macaron was the last thing I thought I’d appreciate, but it was absolutely delightful! The shell was crisp on the outside, moist on the inside, and it had a chewy texture. The filling was plentiful and rich, and it was true to its flavor. Considering the size of the macaron, it was worth its hefty price tag. The mac n cheese was mush — it almost disintegrated without my chewing. Outside of being extremely salty in some parts to having nothing in others, it lacked a flavor profile. As for the highly raved about cucumber mint, it was much too sweet. While you could clearly recognize the taste of cucumber with soft mint notes, the sharpness of the sweetness totally overwhelmed my taste buds. I will commend the employees behind the counter though! They were extremely efficient and friendly. Lemonade is a great option if you’re looking for a quick and relatively healthier meal, but don’t expect it to be affordable.
