Love this lounge. The host is great and the hookah is tasty and smooth. I’m definitely coming back soon!

I would have to say I am not a hookah person because every time I try it, I get really sick. My experience at Lekker was great especially since I didn’t feel sick afterwards. I went with a few friends including a friend from Saudi Arabia who is a hookah expert. He was amazed at the quality of the Hookah and the cleanliness of the bong. The place is really cool– Alice in Wonderland themed and the music is also good. The only downside is that they do not serve alcohol– but guess what?! they applied for a license so I hope to come back soon ! I also used the Unilocal deal $ 40 for $ 30.

This place is amazing. The Alice in wonderland theme is so cool, and the employees are so nice! Mish made a really sweet hookah blend, and Lex was awesome at taking care of us!

Lekker Hookah Lounge could not have left a better impression. Upon our arrival they were out of seating in the front so Lex Luther hooked it up for our group of five and got us into the VIP Room. The music was good and the environment was very fun. The workers came into the room to check in on us periodically and let us take our time. I would definitely recommend the Sexual Mist Hookah to anyone who loves mint hookahs. Definitely recommending this place to my friends. Two thumbs up!!!

I was super excited when I found out this place opened in Little Tokyo because I always had to drive out to Koreatown for hookah and it’s a little out of my way. I really love this place! I’ve gone so many times since they opened because I love the hookah, the service, and the atmosphere. They have really cool glass LED hookahs and the theme is all Alice in Wonderland. Every time I come back, the place is improved and looks better and better. I’m always bringing friends to Lekker Lounge who are visiting LA from out of town and they’re always super happy with it! Essy and Terry have always been super attentive and nice to my friends and I when we come in and everything is delicious and prompt. Their events are awesome and the music is so chill. I like dropping by on my own during the day when I want to relax and smoke some white gummy hookah (my favorite!) and have a milk tea slush. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique hookah experience in LA :)

Came with my friends after having some great sushi at enya across the street. Very chill atmosphere and great music. Lex was amazing teaching us how to hookah the proper way. Great place to spend your time after checking out a few bars in downtown

Great place! Staff is really nice and accommodating, especially Lex. Décor is really cool, great music and great hookah especially during happy hour! Would def recommend and go again!

I am in the minority here so don’t listen to me, listen to the others! Maybe my experience just so happened to be off point is all. The hookah doesn’t hit well at all and for glass hookahs, this place should have been ace. There are basically no drinks except for soda and water, atmosphere SHOULD be cool but was a let down. I had to ask for new coals atleast 5 times cause the hookah hit was so bad… also, it advertises open late, but they told us they were closing at 10 so i got here at 830, and got booted by 10. Also there was a «HAPPY HOUR» with deals that they did not honor. I’m giving two stars cause i love hookah, but if i wasn’t a hookah fiend this lounge would get an even lower score.

I’m originally from LA and I have been to many hookah lounges. this is by far the best hookah lounge, the quality was also very superb! It did not get harsh once! The all glass LED hookah set it off. The staff is the best, Essy is super friendly and the rest of the staff has the best customer service! …It’s also in a great location, I will definitely be back every time I visit my hometown ! (Plus the theme is so awesome it’s Alice in wonderland)

I come here for hookah all the time when I’m in town! The white gummy bear flavor is my favorite. They use special hookahs that light up a rainbow of colors, and it’s very smooth. The workers here are so cool and are very attentive and friendly! Essy and Terri made sure we never had to wait on our coals. The music they play is so good too! Can’t wait to come back again!

I had the pleasure of throwing my 30^th birthday party in one of the rooms of the lounge. It was an amazing time, it was easy to book, the owner Mish was in constant communication with me regarding all that I would like for my party leading all the way into the day of. They were very tentative to my requests and pleasantly accomodating. I had a lot of guests fly in town and all were impressed with the set-​up, ambiance, music and the event itself. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to throw a big party or intimate gathering. It’s very beautiful inside. Good times. Thank You Lekker Lounge.

The ambiance is so nice inside. From the comfy couches to the ceiling that looks like twinkling stars and a dance floor at the back, I’d come back again for another chill night.
The hookahs light up and change colors like Christmas lights and of course the actual quality of the hookah; it’s so smooth you don’t even feel the smoke at all.
To top it off, I loved the Neo Tokyo theme they had at the private event I went to!

I’ll start with the décor is. it’s like a night sky, dim lights, great Music especially on their busiest days which are always the weekends. there’s a few rooms when you go towards the back. one in particular with the upside down chess pieces. Just has the impression of an Alice and wonderland theme.
When I saw their menu, their hookah flavors had names that I’ve never heard before, aka their Lekker secret flavors. Their staff are so welcoming, answered every question I had when it came to what drinks they had. They were so patient with me and my friend.
I’m sure rather than being pricks and complaining about their drinks and how they’re too sweet, and off or whatever, I’m sure they appreciate constructive criticism, so if you just asked or told them, they would have made your drink to your liking. But besides their drinks, their hookah was great quality. They changed the coals regularly and made sure I was taken care of.
I didnt mind the price, it was understandable because they just opened a few months back. For the fact that it opened not too long ago, and have these great reviews, was definitely a must go.
Overall, it was great. Will always come here when I want to listen to great music, enjoy good company, and have a chill night.

There were a lot of cool reasons to go here. The décor is really awesome with fun lights, a kind of Alice in Wonderland inspired room with an over-​sized chair and chess pieces on the ceiling, and a very tasty pineapple hookah bowl.
Unfortunately, all of the positives weren’t quite enough to keep my friends and I satisfied. We, well at least two of the three of us, were very excited to get some hookah. We knew exactly what to expect and so a few of the things we expected were either delivered poorly or not at all.
The place was completely dead at the time. This isn’t a deal-​breaker, but the lack of any attempt to make the place fun outside of the décor was a bit off putting. The waitress who was absolutely wonderful did what she could to make us happy. She let us plug in our own music, she got the flavors and my light up ice cubes comped, and was friendly. However, it took a VERY long time to complete our order and after it was complete I received a very weak vodka tonic. This was unfortunate since I wanted a GIN and tonic but the bar was grossly under-​stocked. (I originally wanted a Jack and Coke)
Additionally, when we inquired about some pricing issues we were told it was standard despite the fact that I’ve NEVER encountered those prices before. Also, the prices were a bit high to begin with.
Essentially, we enjoyed our time there because of the company. But, a lot of changes would have to be made before we’d try this place out again. I think they have a lot of potential, but we’re not coming back any time soon.

Came here last night, Friday night, with 2 friends and it was dead. We were the only ones there for awhile.
The music was slow and soft, so they allowed us to hook up our music via Bluetooth to the speakers to play some hip hop to get the ambiance going.
The décor is cool with led lights and presents itself as clean. We got the pineapple bowl with white gummy bear and it tasted great!
The waitress was friendly and nice and answered all of our questions.
The reasons for the low stars are multiple. — First, a friend ordered a mango slush boba drink and it took them a long time to bring it out. When they did, they said that the boba they were cooking did not work out and was too mushy… Sounds strange for a place known for their alcoholic boba. And instead, they just gave my friend grass jelly without asking (which she doesn’t even like). The mango flavoring tasted generic as well. To make things better, they gave us an extra alcoholic slush, again without asking if we even wanted it.
— Another friend ordered a gin and tonic that was really weak. The only redeeming part was the light up ice cubes, which they comped.
— the most compelling part was the price. The hookah was $ 33. I’ve never paid that much for one hookah before! Then they tacked on a «hookah service charge» of 15% which came out to $ 8.55. When asked what that was, the waiter said that it is a standard charge at hookah places and that it keeps the costs down if the hookah glass is broken. What???
Needless to say, won’t be coming back here. Atmosphere was dull and the prices are not worth it.

Great place to hang out with your friends and smoke some hookah. Great music, great staff, great environment! Three private rooms with creative decoration. The glass setup is cool, must try!
