Always there for Amaechina and Leimert Park Village Festival. It is a 3 Day event till Monday with Art, Dancing and Music… every hour on the hour. See you there!

My video is just a tiny taste of the dance-​inspiring music here. I was too busy eating my homemade southern pound cake by Sweet Beginnings to wait until this talented lady started singing again. My bad…
GREAT for people watching! All kinds of cool characters provide an engaging eye fest!
Hostess/M.C. Ramona Stevens (spelling?) is hilarious! Just don’t walk by the stage because she might call you out!
Parking in the lot adjacent to Degnan was only $ 2.50 for eight hours.
I would definitely return!

A well organized yearly event held on Labor Day weekend (Saturday, Sunday, Monday). A variety of performances on the main stage: amaze your eyes dance, uplifting spoken word, bust your gut comedy, stylish hair & fashion show. Side stage w youth emphasis musical/​dance performances, workshops & panel discussions.
We found lots of unique art work, beauty products & jewelry. An ideal place for Christmas shopping!
A great variety of food from BBQ to Vegan to African to yummy home style pastries!
Great fun for all ages!
Parking: Two public lots on either side of the festival as well as metered parking & street parking in the adjacent residential areas.
