Our go to Mexican food. The food is really good and so are the prices. The staff is really attentive, kind, and welcoming which is an even bigger plus. We get anything from tacos al pastor, birria, lengua, asada, grilled chicken, shredded chicken, bean and cheese burrito, etc. We have yet to be disappointed, probably won’t be. Highly recommend!

Obviously a local favorite –only about 6 tables with a very homey feel. The chili verde is very good. Many places have very dry pork, it might as well be carnitas. Here, it was tender without being too fatty. We also had the tostada, which was surprisingly tasty. Often, the lettuce comes out hot and wilted(naturally since it’s mixed in with hot beans and meat) but they use fresh crisp lettuce, and know to lay it on top. The tortillas are fresh, but probably store bought rather than hand made on the spot. The pork tamale was okay. They have a salsa bar with pico de gallo, but no spicy salsa option. For the price, it’s one of the best Mexican within a tolerable distance from the West LA/Santa Monica area.

Great Mexican food. The birria burrito was delicious. The salsas were good too, taste home made.

Tasty and good prices! We eat here a couple times a month. It’s right down the street. Goat tacos are yummy and the bean & cheese burrito with green sauce inside is a carb lovers spicy delight. My girlfriend loves the horchata.

The best place in Los Angeles to get authentic Mexican food hands down. The carne asada burritos are delicious, flavorful and very inexpensive. I believe they’re just over five change plus tax. I give this place five stars for its delicious food. Although I only highlighted the burritos, the whole menu is awesome.

I’ve been coming here for a little over a year now and have tasted a variety of things on the menu. Thus far I haven’t had a complaint about any dishes. Costillas de puerco(pork ribs) in red sauce is my favorite because it’s on the spicy side and I love the level of heat that it has.($ 7.50) I also enjoy the chicken Caesar salad although I’ve gotten it a bit wet at times and that is never appetizing to me on the plate. However you can get more food for lower price when ordering combo plates that are offered($ 8.25) The combo plate with 1 enchilada, a chille relleno, and two taquitos never fails to satisfy me! And it comes with rice and beans?! Oh my bob yes!($ 7.55) Also they have amazing ahead frescas that I always enjoy! All in all its a solid and nice place to get a quick bite of some of your favorite Mexican American dishes for an affordable price! I always come back for more!

Step up your menudo game guys. Guacala! Not a fan. I counted 7 pieces of whatever this is and the rest was the broth. If you’re picking up, check the food before you leave this place.

This review is for the carne asada burritos and the hot sauce– the only items I’ve tried from here. Get the green sauce ! My favorite place in LA for carne asada burritos. Not only are they bomb, but they are cheap. The best deal for authentic Mexican food in LA for sure. 4 stars instead of 5 for the sketchy area full of transgender prostitutes and guys selling fake Jordans and having mini swap meets out of their trunks. This place is worth the unsafe area for their bomb burritos & hot sauce tho ! Just order to-go.

Used to come here all the time with my friends back in high school. We simply called it «the burrito shop» because that’s 99% of what we ordered. My favorite was the lengua, hadn’t had a better one since. Service is excellent and the food is 5 stars at a very reasonable price

I’ve been eating here for 15 years, and I have not had a burrito better than theirs. The family who owns the place is very nice and welcoming. Their prices are legit. $ 6 for a burrito sounds like a great deal to me! They have that delicious authentic Mexican flavor in their food which makes the $ 6 worth it! I recommend it to everyone. Their food won’t let you down.

This place has been open since I was in the 5th grade. I’m 25 now and they have great food here. One of the best mom and pop restaurants i’ve been going to:-D. I usually buy their enchilada plate its pretty good. But they’re burritos are amazingly good. I use to live off of 41st Street between St. Andrews and Gramercy(down the street from the bank of america) and this restaurant was a walk down the street. Whenever we thought of mexican food this was the place to go:-D

I use to really like this place, Now they just arent as fresh & tasty or maybe it was jus an off day? Came in her today for some quick bites, havent been there in a long tiime so i thought id give it a shot. I was dissapointed honestly. 1st of all the prices are all inflated, but hey due to the economy I cant really knock that? Hey but $ 9 for three tacos and a horchata seems steep. So I ordered two asada one carnita. asada was kinda fatty very greasy, not like before. Carnitas was gnarly tasting like it was in the fridge too long. My bud got the enchilada combo and wasn’t too happy with it either. failed lunch choice on my behalf… sorry my friend
