The pupusas we’re probably the best that I’ve had in a very very long time. I believe they’re on sale on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. The owner /waiter was great very attentive very engaging very polite and recommended some great food. I would definitely come again and get the pupusas and I would suggest you do the same.

Delicious pupusas. The pupusas are full of flavor and it has lots of filling Unlike other restaurants where they barely put any meat or beans in side the pupusas. The service is wonderful. You won’t be disappointed And the prices are very affordable

Best Salvadorean Food in Los Angeles. Authentic and Delicious. I love this place, the food is authentic Salvadorean food and if you are craving for Mexican, they have that too. I love their pupusas and their traditional Salvadorean dishes. The owners are super nice, the wife is the main cook and her cooking reminds me of what my grandma would cook back in El Salvador. or what I would in at any«comedor» in El Salvador. The husband who owns this place is also the one who serves the tables and he makes his customers feel like at home. The restaurant is big and I never have problem finding parking. I recommend their pupusas, bistec encebollado, pollo guisado, and tacos. I like their breakfasts too. The prices are reasonable as this is homemade food and no matter where you go Salvadorean food is not the cheapest food, I been to many Salvadorean places and this one is average price for the great quality of food they serve, this is not junk food so you can expect to pay about $ 8 to $ 10 dollars for good size dish or if you are on a budget you can eat some pupusas. I have been to other Salvadorean restaurants including la Casa de Don Cuper, Ilopango and the service and food is not half as good as it is there. This is a family restaurant I recommend it to all my Unilocal friends as I rely on Unilocal when looking for good restaurants myself. I hope this review is useful and that you agree with me once you go and try this place. A mis compatriotas Salvadoreños que les gusta la buena comida tradicional, se los recomiendo, a mi me encanta este lugar.

I had a few hours before my flight so I decided to talk a walk and find some of the beaten track place to dine. A mile down the road I found this place. There are a few times when real food served with pride makes you wonder why we put up with complete crap that is pushed on us every day. Flavor, real ingredients, passion… these traits shouldn’t have to be only found with a four star price! I ordered simple tacos asada, they also told me to try a corn tamale with crème and brought over some sort of pickled vegetables. What a refreshing change from chips and salsa. From the first bite I was hooked. If you find yourself flying out of Burbank, do yourself a favor and get to this place. Support these guys!!! And why let the walk turn you off? Embrace your inner Steve Martin, enjoy the runway scenes and ignore ask those too lazy to exercise the wheels on their luggage. What a better feeling after a great meal.

I honestly was not happy with this place I am one to give places a chance but this definitely sucked prices are high for not so good stuff, the girls are so still and not friendly. I placed an order for my whole family and on the phone the lady said it was going to be 40 – 50 $ but when I got to the location it was 80 $? When asking her why she told me a different price she just denied everything, so yes I’m upset but who wouldn’t be .To top it off the food sucked my family hated everything and the pupusas didn’t have anything so we basically paid 3 for handmade torillas

Christmas Eve dinner is so perfect! Carlos had told me about the turkey dinners in El Salvador and how as a kid he would only get to eat a piece of the wing. Well, I found Las Casitas Restaurant in North Hollywood in a Google search. Only challenged was the 1 ½ hour drive home in LA traffic upon Christmas Eve! But my car is now filled with the wonderful aromas of the food! I had fun visiting with the owners. They got a kick out of hearing about our love story! They even gifted us two bottles of Cola Champagne to celebrate! What a gold mine! The salsa on the turkey is to die for, Russian Salad so delicious and the rice is just how Carlos prepares it. Carlos has explained to me that this is not like the turkeys we usually eat here in the US. This is a wild turkey, brown and colorful. He calls it chompipe indio. I love the ensalada rusa! Y dijo mi esposo que esta cachimbon el chompipe! I told Carlos that I want this to be our Christmas tradition! The only feature missing on Facebook is how to share the wonderful aromas of the food!

First of all, I don´t know who categorized this place as Mexican. It is a Salvadorean that also serves Mexican dishes. The pupusas are excellent, I also had the tamales de elote, and the yuca. The Salvadorean horchata was delicious and homemade. The prices are very reasonable and the family who works there makes you feel at home. Will be back soon!

Today i had tried enchiladas rojas de pollo. They were ok. The hard tacos were too burnt but everything else es amazing. The extra ice. And bread and salsa and the service es friendly. Very family oriented. Always a good thing. The pupusas are amzing tho !
