Great, fresh and cheap. Fish tacos are the best. Agua Frescas are authentic.

Delicious! I had the shrimp ceviche tostada and the shrimp taco. The shrimp ceviche tostada was a 4 but shrimp taco maybe a 3.5. Still good and so affordable!

this place is small and packed most of the time and dont expect fancy décor but their food is good and the price too! the large shrimp cocktail is only $ 8 and their fried shrimp are good. tacos are reasonable price and a good value! the only bad think there is parking and they only take cash but they have an atm machine in the restaurant.

One of the best fish and shrimp tacos I’ve ever had! If you ever had fish tacos at Rubio’s or Taco Nazo, this place beats it(in my opinion of course). Mexican food usually give me feeling of guilt afterwards(as they are usually heavy and fatty). Not this place. Everything was pretty refreshing! Food: Between the fish and shrimp tacos. The fish was my favorite and most customers favorite. Very fresh and not dry. Lots of cabbage and the sour cream/mayo sauce(I think that’s what it is) and the very flavorful spice was amazing and works well altogether! May be a bit spicy for non spicy eaters but it was worth the little flame. The shrimp one was also good(just not my first fish favorite) as it was also fresh and pretty descent size shrimps. Favorite goes to the fish just because the shrimp as more batter obviously and a bit more saltier than the fish. The shrimp ceviche wasn’t bad either but I had better and they gave a smaller portion from other places I had this. For the aqua frescas, best stuff on a hot day. I had the kiwi and lime and boy was that sour and tangy. Almost couldnt drink it but if you like very sour drinks and tang, this drink is for you. I loved their pineapple(pina) drink. Very refreshing and not as sweet as other places I have tried so that is definitely a plus! Parking: Horrible! Worst time to go is a Sunday afternoon family day. No parking at all and plan to wait in line for at least 15 – 20 minutes and than another 20 min to get your food. Do note that there is a guy that looks like he works as a parking attendant/guider(whatever you call it) and wears a orange vest but will ask you for change when you get back to your car. He’s harmless but thought I shared. Ambiance: Don’t expect anything fancy. It’s a small little place but a little better than a hole in a wall as its surprisingly not too dirty. Yes not bathrooms. Go find one before heading over here or order to go. The food is seriously worth stopping by for. Service: Mainly Spanish speaking but they know enough English to take your order. They are very nice and patient with me since it was my first time there and let me try the different aqua frescas before I buy one. Thank goodness I understood enough Spanish to get by and know what number I was when they called it in Spanish.

Sometimes, this place gets really crowded(which is a good sign) and you might have to eat outside or wait quite a while for your food. But this place is worth it! Never disappoints! All their seafood is so good & I come back often. Don’t know what to recommend. Everything is THAT good! Anything that’s breaded tastes amazing! They know how to cook here! And you WILL return!

Some of the most delicious fish tacos I’ve had in my life! Inexpensive and absolutely perfect fish and shrimp tacos. This place doesn’t skimp out on the protein either, these tacos are filled with deliciousness. Sadly no cervesas for sale here but a delicious agua fresca will suffice to cool you off. Try the watermelon or Horchata! Only downside to this place is the parking. IT’S TERRIBLE! Also this place gets really busy, try to come during off peak hours!

Went earlier today for lunch and this is what to expect: line moves quick to order! Not to receive though– but it’s worth the wait.(If your starving maybe not lol) but I didn’t mind! Ordered a shrimp taco and a fish taco. Large serving, delicious and pretty messy! Feel like they might need bigger tortillas because the serving is big! Ate two tacos and surprisingly felt perfectly full! :) But it was tasty and I definitely recommend it!

Cash only. ATM machine available inside in case you forget your cash. Parking sucks! No restroom. 5 different aguas frescas made in the house from scratch… limon, piña, horchata, Jamaica and limon con fresa. Food is good though… especially the fish/shrimp and fries platters. Did I mention, PARKINGSUCKS!

This place has a pretty good kiwi lemonade to wake you up and to keep you well hydrated. The first time here I got 2 shrimp tacos de ensenada and OMG!!! ITWAS A LOADOFFUNINMYMOUTHTHEYWERETOPERFECTION!!! The coctel was okay but not that good… it is super busy, the parking is not good nor the seating inside(TOOSMALL), IFITWASN’T FORTHAT, then I would give this place 5 stars

To be honest… It wasn’t what I expected! My husband has been wanting me to try this out for a while and when I finally did it was«meh». First of all the line was awful it took us 25min just to order and another 45min to get out food. The lady’s behind the counter need some neurons In the brain because they were messing up all the orders. They kept on asking what number was next and were skipping some numbers. By then I just wanted to ask for my money back. I’d rather pay a little extra money and have quality service. They’re understaffed and it shows on how dirty the place is. The food was okay… Nothing to go crazy over. So it’s safe to say I won’t be coming back again. Sorry but it’s not my cup of tea. Ohhhh… And parking is next to impossible.

Let me start with the bad: –parking BLOWS. It’s in a small and crowded plaza. –no toilets. Just hold it in! –TINY. There are like 5 tables. It’s a small little place. –cash only. There’s an ATM though. Now, the good and the delicious: –Shrimp cocktail/ceviche… sssoooooooooo gooooood especially when it’s hot out. Juicy shrimps marinated in tomatoes, onions, and chilies… mmmmMm. You get a choice of saltines or tostadas to accompany your cocktail. –Shrimp tacos… get them with avocado, you won’t be sorry. you can’t even fit these shits in your mouth. They’re made with delicious little breaded and fried shrimps… They don’t skimp, either. I have to sit there and pick off some of the cabbage and avocado and shrimps in order to be able to eat the taco like a normal person. This place has the tastiest shrimp tacos ever, EVER!!! Regardless of the shitty parking and no toilets, this place gets 5 stars because it’s so delicious that the bad points are automatically cancelled out.

I’ve been coming to this place since I was a child and it has not changed at all! . The lady taking your order is pretty nice, but the food is always so slow to come out. I always get a shrimp taco and a clam chowder, the tacos are huge and delicious. I’ve had their breaded shrimp, they’re good too! I tried the ceviche tostadas, but I didn’t become a fan. The ceviche tostada was just ok, but trust you can’t go wrong with their ginormous tacos! A couple things that keep me away are the parking, cash only and the size of the restaurant. Now a days how could you not accept plastic! I don’t always have cash on me and I’m usually rushing after work to get there on time because they close early. The restaurant is on the small side and can only fit a couple of tables. If you’re in the area, give this place a try!

Las Brasas is your typical fresh cold Mariscos, fish and shrimp taco spot just off the 5 fwy exit Cesar Chavez. The money maker here are the ginormous fish and shrimp tacos which go for about $ 2.60 fish and $ 2.75 for shrimp. Each taco is loaded with thinly cut cabbage, diced tomato and topped with crèma and tasty in house made mild salsa. Tacos are not your average baja style tacos. Very different in the way the fish and shrimp are battered or breaded in this case. Let me also point out that these tacos are so HUGE and packed with shrimp or fish you literally can’t take a bite. I usually ask for the toppings on the side that way I can make two tacos out of one(double tort tacos). The cold mariscos are cold, fresh and tasty. Tostadas de pescado for $ 1! This is one of the usual quickie spots for this taco fan. Always leave satisfied and it’s easy on the wallet too. NOTE: Parking is hell here(not their fault) and if you do find make sure no one blocks you in.

I’ve been here a few times so far, and I continue to remain very impressed that this restaurant is able to offer such tasty food of such generous portion sizes at such low prices. There are 4 cartoonishly massive glass jars of agua frescas to the right of the cash register, from which you can choose tamarindo, jamaica, strawberry lemonade, or horchata. Pick your poison, and they’ll ladle it for you into a cup size of your choice. I am particularly fond of the horchata and strawberry lemonade. I will attest that the later is made with *extremely* fresh strawberries, as I started experiencing severe allergic reactions upon consumption — and that only happens when I ingest fresh fruits(courtesy of OAS). The fresher they are, the more severe my reactions. The fish and shrimp tacos taste great, and they don’t skimp on the portion of seafood within. Considering the low cost, I would say Las Brisas represents a conspicuously high value dining option — you get *A LOT* for your money here. There is no public restroom here, ostensibly because there is barely enough space inside for seating the endless hordes of customers as it is. Also, the parking in the private lot in front is often lacking in availability, and the line inside can often being ridiculously long. But can you really blame this place for being so popular? Having sampled their offerings, *I* sure as hell can’t.

GINORMOUSFISH and SHRIMPTACOS well worth the $ 2.50−2.75 price. Now these tacos won’t send your taste buds to the stratosphere but they’re huge and they taste pretty good for the price. They’re also not stingy with the toppings(crema, cabbage, etc.) so you can fill up with just two tacos which is unheard of for me(fat guy problems). Beware, parking is hell during lunchtime because its in a small plaza and they share the dorm room-size parking lot with Thai Deli, Subway, and other sketchy looking shops. I suggest calling ahead to place your order PARALLEVAR(that’s TOGO for you stubborn people who refuse to learn the language of Los Angeles)! Also, try and have a dollar handy for the bum and self-appointed parking attendant trying to navigate traffic in that small space.

Fish and myself don’t really go well together. I blame salmon and that damn time I got a fishbone stuck in my throat. Normally I like my fish how I like the rest of my food: British. If it isn’t that way then I don’t really like it. Yesterday the guys at work decided to do Las Brisas for lunch. Not wanting to be a spoil sport, and never having tried fish tacos before I figured I would give it a shot. After all tacos were very reasonably priced($ 2.50 for fish, $ 2.65 for shrimp) so why not? Even if lunch sucked at most I would only be out under $ 10. Thankfully lunch did not suck!(Parking, on the other hand was an issue). Furthermore, lunch was pretty damn tasty. Las Brisas hooked it up with plentiful tacos. Two would have been enough, with 3(2 fish, 1 shirmp) I was just being greedy. The fish was my favorite, the shrimp was okay — but I felt the shrimp was too tough, a bit too overcooked for my liking. Both were piled high with lettuce, tomato, sauce, and tons of meat — you really get bang for your buck here! I topped that off with some horchata that really hit the spot. Added some fresh lime juice(from freshly quartered limes) to my tacos and dug in. I am a fan, and I will be back — even though parking sucks. (other facts: cash only, has a tv, small seating area, yes — the line really is that long, atm in the corner, Spanish helps but you can manage with English, and parking sucks!)
