Sonia is so great. Her presence is as gentle as her classes and she creates what feels like this tiny little haven of well being from the rest of the world. I feel refreshed after taking her classes. She cares about her student’s experience and encourages suggestions. She seems to feel that this is *your* class and that she is here to serve you. At the end of class she offers essential oils which I love as a kind of lingering reminder of your practice after it’s over. I recommend her for anyone who enjoys gentle yoga, or those on a recovery day from a vigorous set, or anyone who just needs a bit of gentleness in your day.

Sonia is an amazing Yoga Teacher. My wife and I both take her Tuesday class and have also had the opportunity to join in on her class at the Senior center. Sonia cares about the people in the room — there is no doubt about that and she easily transitions her teaching to fit the needs of the class. her intuition as to what might be needed is incredible and her adjustments to the flow shows that she is knowledgeable about her Assana instruction. If you have the pleasure of taking a class with Sonia, you will see that the class is about your Yoga and not her teaching.

I have been taking yoga classes for 20 years and I still enjoy gentle classes the most(daily life is exerting enough). Sonia’s teaching style is a breath of fresh air. I have been taking her one-hour classes at LiveYoga Wellness in Westchester(close to LMU). Her classes have a well-rounded flow with interesting variations each class, while her voice and music selections add to complete the pleasantness that I eagerly look forward to each time. Her classes are a gift I give myself: a nice gentle work-out while also adding calm to my day.
