When the health department brought up concerns with the truck’s built-in cooking equipment on our first day of operation we were told by La Raza Foods«not to open that can of worms.» After that was said the equipment caught on fire from leaking gas lines and broke down to the point their mechanic refused to fix it. We were able to operate 16 days out of the two months we had it due to the condition of the truck. Most of those days we broke down half way through lunch. We paid an additional $ 1,000 commissary fee for the month before our lease started so their mechanic could get our truck ready for us. When we came to pick it up after they said it was ready it wouldn’t start and nothing worked.
