La Petite Academy

This is my First Daycare that I have ever used. I must say this is the best place to bring your child. They have the best staff I have ever met, they are very kind and informed of the proper ways and curriculum of raising a child. They treat you as if you’re Family and your child will be well cared for here. They go the extra mile to make sure your child is learning and getting the opportunity to explore all the things that are needed for your child’s development. The Director Judy is by far the best employee this daycare center could have. She is very friendly and my daughter would run up to her everyday upon leaving and gave her a hug and kiss goodbye. The price is kind of high but it’s well worth every penny as they really make sure the kids are fed healthy food choices, and also potty training is included in the price. (Who could ask for anything more.) For infants you will need to prepare food for your child but once they graduate to the Toddler Room Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks are provided. I highly recommend this place for day care if you want to give your child the best start to their brand new life. The communication between the teachers and parents is awesome as well, and the staff there helps develop the relationship with the child so they always feel safe and secure. If you’re planning on having a child call before the child is born because the waiting list is over a year but once you’re in everything is perfect. If and when we have a second child they will be going to this school as I wouldn’t want anything else or anyone else raising my child while I have to work.

We have been bringing our son Nico to La Petite Downtown since he was 3mo old, and have been blown away by how sweet and caring the teachers are. From everyone in the front administration office (Judy, director and Wendy, assistant director) to the individual teachers (we want to bring teacher Irma home on the weekends! Every single teacher is very sweet), everyone has such an open and honest heart — you can tell that everyone working there really has a calling to care for young children. Nico has since graduated to the toddler class, and our new daughter Mimi is about to start next week! We are astounded and impressed daily by the new things our son is doing/​speaking. They really are a learning school, where the children seem to really enjoy themselves and the education shines through. Nico smiles so bright when we pull up, and he continues to mature and develop at lightning speed. There is no doubt it is a serious and stressful event making the decision to enter your child and entrust their livelihood into the care of strangers. We are so happy and grateful we found La Petite and the great crew that reside there. I recommend it with the strongest rating I can give — that of my two children.
