Pastor isn’t he best but the other meats are great. Love the grilled onions and chips they give you with the tacos. Good stuff

Love this truck! The way they carefully package your meal with each taco nestled in it’s own wrap and how they include chips, grilled onions, cucumbers and radishes makes it stand out from other trucks. The Asada and pastor is always nicely caramelized. The pollo looks like it’s plainly poached but there’s SO much flavor in it. Last time we went there was a kid sitting in the front seat studying at 9pm. That’s true dedication in a family owned business and makes you want to support them more!

I love this taco truck and find it dangerous for me. I must resist going more than once a week. Maybe not the best Mexican food but still really good. Grilled onions are delicious. Torta bread is soft. Asada burrito is nicely mixed. Fries are seasoned. Bean burrito has cheese melted perfectly inside. Plus I have never known a place to package so well. Everything goes on a paper plate and gets saran wrapped. Big props!

My fave truck! Good food, variety of options, & good customer service! The tacos, tortas, nachos, burritos, wet burritos are yummy. Long time client for sure.

Bomb. They have everything and give you chips with your tacos. I pass two different taco trucks to get here. So worth it.

Absolutely love this spot!!! Sometimes there is a few too many winos hanging around the parklet but they usually keep to themselves.

Best taco truck in town! Love their super wet burrito and quesadilla. They do not skim out on meat and the portions are huge. They aren’t stingy about giving extra lemon and salsa either!

I love love love this truck with a passion. I live in East LA which has too many taco trucks. But i go to El Sereno just for this one. My bf first invited me here last year and i fell in love. My favorite are the tacos de carnitas. Omg delicious with their green salsa! And they give you s side of tortilla chips which are also awesome with the salsa. By far the best truck.

Worst food truck ever. Their rate was a B. Ordered super fries and Camaron tacos, they were greasy and didn’t have enough flavor. Good customer service though. Not worth buying.

Tasteless food! Too greasy and the food didn’t have flavor to it. Customer service was good overall but the food wasn’t that great at all. Big dissatisfaction. King torta’s super fries are way better.

My favorite truck and place to buy a torta ! I leave to school out of state and as soon as I can I come and order food from this truck. The people are always nice and the food is always good. I love that they are out late so I sometimes stop buy after work or a night out.

I can’t say I’ve tried everything here. In fact I tend to stick to things I like but I have eaten here many times and introduced several people to this truck and everyone has always been happy. Amongst my faves are the chicken quesadilla — they don’t skimp on the cheese so if you think you’re lactose intolerant just don’t. For the rest of us… soooo good. The super nachos — any meat. Heavy! I always get these for sharing. Can never eat a whole plate on my own and so good with all the cheese, sour cream and salsa. And my staple — super burrito de cabeza. Super burritos are filling enough for two, one if you’re a bit of a bottomless pit. I’ve had tacos here several times before and I’ll just say that I don’t come here for tacos. In my experience the people working the truck have always been very nice.

Yes a roach coach is generally wiry, but don’t hate the truck until you try it. Now I don’t go to this truck for anything else but the Super Nachos, so I can’t comment on anything else. These nachos are bomb to say the least and you can see that most other reviewers sound the same. Great news is that this little truck is open until the wee hours and it’s a great stop after drinking!

I love everything they serve here. I have been coming here ever since they opened, 10+ plus years. The employees are all super nice to everyone! I’ve seen people go to order and are really rude to them, but the staff inside the truck never loose their patience and continue being nice to the customer, even though they don’t deserve to be treated nicely. The food is delicious. I always get something different, I love their super burritos, they are big and come with meat, rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream and cheese!!! so good. Their enchiladas are good too, three enchiladas, rice and beans on the side, and they throw in a small salad(lettuce and tomato). Their tacos are pretty good too, I always change it up, from Beef, to tripa or even lengua. One thing I absolutely love about this place, is everything they give you on the side of your food. You will always get chips, grilled onions, radishes, cucumbers and lemons! do you know of any other taco truck that will give you all of that, even if you order one taco??? I don’t think so…

My girlfriend and I used to go here a lot until we moved out of the area. We still go here occasionally when we are nearby. They are delicious! The vegetarian burrito is wonderful. It is a bit on the spicy side though so watch out! I once ordered vegetarian nachos(instead of their delicious regular nachos) on accident. What I ended up with was sort of a nacho salad, which was pretty good even if I wasn’t expecting it. Their Horchata and their champurrado are also very good.

Wow this place is amazing. As a preggo lady I have crazy cravings for burritos, especially vegetarian burritos but I haven’t really found one that hits the spot. We went to the Lummis Festival last Sunday and came across this truck on our way out. Decided to give the Vegetarian Burrito a try, and omigosh it was the best vegetarian burrito I have ever had. Their salsa in the burrito is so flavorful and I liked how they added some tortilla chips inside for crunch. My husband who is a carnivore and normally would never think of ordering a vegetarian option, loved my burrito so much that he went back and ordered one for himself! Will definitely have to make a couple more stops at this place in the next few months!

This place is near my work but I never bothered going there until one day when I was on my break and asked one of my coworkers where I should go. He suggested La Golondrina and specifically said I should get their Super Burrito. I went there, got exactly that and was blown away by how good it was. I don’t know if my opinion was influenced because I was starving, but it was delicious. It was huge, full of good carne asada(or pork, chicken or any of the usual meats you can choose from in most Mexican food places), rice, beans, all the usual fixings. I would come here another time and that’s when another coworker told me that this taco truck was voted #2 best Catering Truck in all of Los Angeles! Woah! Anyway, here are the menu items I’ve tried… — Super Burrito: I’ve already described it. — Burrito: I get mine with refried beans, mozzarella(I think) cheese, carne asada & guacamole. Comes with grilled onions & tortilla chips. — Nachos: MASSIVE order of corn tortilla chips, smothered in shredded cheese(not processed glowing yellow nacho cheese sauce), one side with red sauce, one side salsa verde, one side with guacamole & sour cream; you can also get it with your choice of meat. Comes with sliced cucumbers & radishes — Tacos: the usual tacos you can get anywhere with your choice of meats. I’m always hearing that you can get better tacos elsewhere but these are fine; full sized and not that pricey. Comes with grilled onions & tortilla chips. — Enchiladas — Nothing special, but a nice change of pace from my usual stuff. Rice, refried beans, enchilads smothered in a red & green sauce. — Torta: I got it with carne asada(my preferred meat), it comes with lettuce, tomatoes, and sort of a slaw, torta was soft and chewy. It was tasty, but soggy as hell. So if you’re hungry, stop by. The wait isn’t long, it’s good food, VERY nice people taking your order, reasonable prices, too.

Despite the fact that I will need to workout twice as hard tomorrow after eating the burrito here, it was definitely worth it. I was surprised to see this truck parked in front of Food 4 Less despite the renovation going on but they were there and I took the bait. I ordered a regular asada burrito for $ 4.50. If you like your burritos big and long(like Khia), you should come here. The lady in the truck was very nice. The dish consisted of the burrito itself, spicy carmelized onions, chips, and slices of cucumber and radish. I thought this combination was pretty interesting and went well with my burrito. The lady also offered me some salsa of course for the chips. I am curious to try the remainder of their menu on future visits. The prices are very reasonable. I was content with my asada burrito.

Kind of surprised that La Golondrina isn’t getting more love. This is one of the best taco trucks I’ve been to in the area, and it’s easily accessible parked on Huntington Dr in front of the Food 4 Less. I usually head over on the way home from school, and because I can’t give out half-stars, I’ll round up from 4.5 to the full 5 due to the added sentimental value of post-exam celebration. The asada, pastor, and lengua are all done very well, and the cabeza is pretty good, too, and they have the right amount of onions/cilantro on well-oiled corn tortillas. The most special part about La Golondrina’s tacos is that they’re very juicy — both the meat and the way the tortillas soak up the juices. All tacos are $ 1.25 each and served with lime, grilled onions, radish, and chips. I haven’t tried the wet burritos or enchiladas but I’m very curious — honestly haven’t seen those options at most taco trucks. There’s also good drink selection, and the lady who takes your order is also very kind and welcoming. If you’re in the SGV area, skip Fair Oaks and head over to Huntington instead.
