LA Garage Door Repair and Gate

DO NOT let anyone from this company on your property. The guy who came out to give an estimate for a new garage door opener said that this job would be taken care of in just a couple of hours. When the repair guy came he was so unprepared he did NOT even have a ladder to reach our garage door opener. So there was one wasted day waiting for the repair guy. The next time he came he took so long and could not do the job that he finally called another repair guy to do the work. In the end he did not install the Chassis support bracket, the chain spreader or the new control panel (he used our 15 year old one (which does not work the light on the new opener) & spliced the new wire with the old wires & left them just hanging. They even tried to sell us new springs (which we do not need) for over $ 1000. They left every piece of the old broken door opener along with all the packing materials and left over parts (yes I said left over parts) all over our garage floor. These are not professionals at all and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Showed up on time. Tried to oversell me on an entirely new motor — then said «well maybe we could just replace the springs». My husband came down and suddenly his price dropped. Oh yeah — and they didn’t accept the Unilocal deal offered here. Ugh.

I’d give them less than 1 star if I could. The guy came to my house last week and he was super creepy. He kept checking my neighbor out. He tried to up-​sell me a whole ton of stuff that was going to cost almost $ 1,000! Needless to day, I paid him the inspection fee just to leave.
I would have paid twice as much to get rid of that guy.
