This was the worst taco truck ever. I ordered a bean, cheese and rice burrito which was $ 5. A little steep considering a carne asada burrito is also $ 5. The rice was disgusting. It was like white rice mixed with tapatio. It didn’t even taste like Mexican rice or something similar. It tasted like what you puke up. I was so hungry and left disappointed. Maybe they work better with meats than vegetarian options. Plus, the rice had carnitas bits in it too. Whatever… I get it. Lower standards for a truck, but cmon! It was I edible.

This place has awesome flavor and tasty salsas, I usually get the burrito here they add salsa if you don’t ask for it on the side, it’s pretty spicy.

Pretty dam good tacos. I mean this things are great almost as good as the street tacos I had in Mexico. Kinda weird at first scene there in a 76 gas station parking lot, but trust me there good. Salsa was good too.

Good standard burrito truck food. I usually get the carnitas burrito. It comes with slices of lemon, radishes and a tub of hot sauce. One day I will try the lengua or cabeza. Just not today.

Since the constant changing of the so called guard they never seem to have ingredients like burritos or beef or even open when they say they are. Too many different people that work here now and have poor customer service skills. No more.

Holy Smokes! One of the best burritos I’ve had and I eat a lot of burritos from food trucks. Definitely recommend this place. I had the pastor burrito.

Simply great tasting burrito. Not many vegetables in the burrito, but was great, mildly-spicy and filling.

I haven’t tried their tacos, but their burrito is out of this world. I usually get the carne asada burrito but recently I tried their pork, oh my god. it’s gonna have sex with your mouth and your taste buds are guaranteed an orgasm that you’ll never forget.

Every e is always talking about this spot. Personally I don’t like it me because there pastor tacos are too disgusting it’s like shredded beef. And the asana I think too dry. Chili sauce not good. It’s a decent sized taco. I’m not going back

I love a good taco. And La Estrella has some awesome tacos! Packed generously – full of meat, then topped w onions, salsa and cilantro. The meat is super juicy, succulent, full of flavor. They also give u a side of fresh radish which I love. Great price, fast, friendly, and DELISH. Five stars!

Located just a hop, skip and a jump around the corner, the La Estrella Taco Truck is one of my most favorite, local guilty pleasures. In typical street taco style, their truck boasts a menagerie of meat like Pastor, Lengua, Carnitas, Carne Asada and Pollo. As a quick warning, the red sauce is pretty spicy — but that green sauce is so good, that you should make sure you get some extra in case you happen to run out later. With affordable pricing and quick service, the only real question is — will they be there?

My favorite Eagle Rock taco truck. Cheap, open late, yummy, and fast. I always order tacos de cabeza with everything on them and green salsa. Bring a $ 5 and order up. What’s not to love?

If your Mexican Restaurant doesn’t have lengua, carnitas, and al pastor tacos, it’s not Mexican. These Tacos are on point! Had asada and al pastor and it actually tastes like meat, not like some of the chain places who’s meat you wonder what animal it came from! Cat anyone? Definitely coming back. Not to mention I paid less than $ 5 for three tacos w cheese! Oh and whoever thought about posting a picture w cheese on their tacos on Unilocal,I love you.

Wow, this is really a tasty taco and burrito truck. Limited menu of 5 – 6 fillings and burritos and tacos. They do the cooking right. The red sauce is to die for, very rich and massive flavor. Got a real kick our of the homeless dude( ), who was really filthy, had his shopping cart(courtesy of Trader Joe’s) parked behind the truck with all nature of bags full of crap. He may be down and out but he was still surfing the web with his free Obama phone. Was he checking to see about his recent job applications or when his EBT card has been refilled?

I am one of the biggest taco enthusiast you will ever meet. Always on the search for«the taco spot», and it is safe to say that I found the Holy Grail. I have had my good share of tacos and nothing compares to these. The way the meat is cooked and cut up makes it amazing. The tenderness, seasoning, and along with the condiments, make this place a must go! Each taco comes out to about $ 1.50, which is common for a taco now a days. Along with my order, I had an horchata and it was one of the best I had. I will definitely be coming back.

After 6 hours of tailgating and a brutal beating by UCLA over Cal, my friends and I were exhausted but needed to end the night right, so we headed to the closest taco truck in the area. La Estrella is like any other shady and obscure parking lot truck, but in an area not too well known for taco trucks. That night, they were out of everything but carne asada and pastor, which was a huge disappointment because I would’ve much rather had one of the other 3(cabeza, lengua, carnitas) instead. I sucked it up and ordered a carne asada burrito. It turned out to be nothing special. You’ve got rice, beans, and meat. No cheese, veggies, or anything else. The flavor was fairly bland and masked with the immense amount of spice they put in here. Yes, I know I’m gonna get shit from people who think a burrito should be spicy to begin with and the establishment should not be judged based on that. However, most taco trucks I’ve been to have the hot sauce and jalapenos on the side, so you can make it as spicy as you want. I want to enjoy the flavor and not have it all burn in my mouth. Far from being the best taco truck, but it gets the job done.
