This is my first Unilocal review, so I decided to rate and review a place my friends and I frequently visit. LA Burger Bar has a lot going for it. It’s generally clean and the employees are somewhat pleasant. The food, although not amazing, is very good. I know burgers, and LA Burger Bar has one of the best around. Burgers should be simple enough to make, but for the most part, the other local places just can’t get it right. Highly recommended. Chicken tenders/fingers… Not sure what they call them… They’re also really good. French fries here are excellent, and I like that they serve them in a metal cup. They stay hot, which is a plus. Mostly everything can be ordered with an assortment of sauces, which is a great. AND, I like that they are generous with their offerings. There are a couple things that bother me, and have bothered me for quite some time, I’m just really surprised the owner, manager, or employees haven’t figured out a solution yet. First off, the music that plays is really wowed sometimes. Besides that, if the place is empty, a buzzing sound comes from the overhead speakers. My friends and I have tried different tables, but it’s from every speaker. Sometimes I put in my earbuds so Odontoceti hear it. I am a little sensitive to sound, or rather bad sound, but this is ridiculous. FIXYOURSYSTEM!!! Or I will reduce a star every visit it’s not fixed. Otherwise, the burgers are often cold, even though it just came out. Not sure what the Problem is, but my friends and I always notice this. Curious to hear other opinions on this. They’re still good, just not optimally good. Anyways, I recommend a visit. Don’t forget earplugs(it’s not that bad) and bring your own microwave, but otherwise good stuff.

Great gourmet burgers, fries and sauces. But way too loud inside due to the acoustics and people letting their kids run around like little monsters, with no respect for other patrons. I’ve had to personally ask the kids to quiet down because I couldn’t hear while ordering at the counter. I suggest you order ahead, instead of waiting in line and then sit outside or take it to go. Don’t stay inside their any longer than u need to.

Decent food, but uninviting crowd… The only thing odd about this restaurant was its patrons. In my time here I observed a father pull his toddler into a corner and slap him; and I was also snubbed by a person when I asked if we needed a key for the restroom… If you want LA burger bar, order delivery. You won’t want to spend more than a few minutes here!

Very good burgers and friendly staffs. A little bit annoying that sometimes late you have these kids making noise and troubles over there

Easily one of the worst burgers I have ever had anywhere. I went two days ago with my girlfriend to get a hot burg fix. I ordered one of their specialty burgers with onion rings on top and a fried egg. I also asked that the burger be cooked medium rare. I also ordered 6 small chicken wings well done and my girlfriend ordered the chicken wrap. Lets start with the burger. Horrible. The patty was this pale gray dried out mess which tasted more like an overcooked cheap fast food burger that you could get for ¼ the price at any Jack In The Box– and Jacks would be better. The egg was overcooked, the onion rings were the cheap frozen ones you buy at Smart and Final and the bread was just stale and bad and also Smart and Final. The wings were undercooked and chewy with this breading on the outside that ate more like a gelatenous mess than the crispy wings I ordered. The wrap looked like something an airline would overcharge you for– and you would pay more here for it than on a plane ride to St. Louis. The inside of the place is like an empty cafeteria in a retirement home. Soulless, lifeless and drab save the not so original black and white wall mural of none other than the exact city thats right outside the door. This place is an absolute abortion of a restaurant. I wouldn’t go back if you paid me. Disgusting and an absolute waste of money. I live a block away and would never patronize this place again. Hopefully it will close and something better will open up. NO joke– it’s THAT bad.

I had the pastrami burger, and it was everything that I wanted at that precise moment. Every single thing. How rare is that, to get exactly what you want? This weekend I went to Father’s Office, and had a really good, but somehow unsatisfying, burger. I went to Hole In The Wall Burger Joint and had a really good, satisfying burger. And I went to LA Burger Bar, and had a burger that was far better than it should have been. This was the classic American burger. It wasn’t fancy. It wasn’t trying to be something that it wasn’t. It was honest, and true, and kind of middling(when compared to Father’s Office). But because it was honest and true, it elevated far beyond its station. And it was glorious and perfect for exactly what it was. And then they put pastrami on top. I honestly don’t know what more you could want. I’m going to eat here until my heart explodes, which is probably pretty soon considering my meals this weekend.

LA Burger Bar is undoubtedly my favorite place to go to late at night when cravings hit. They’re conveniently open late hours, which is why I ended up there the first couple times. Love sitting outside in their cabana area to eat. Their burgers are really tasty and so are their salads and sandwiches. I recommend the Cobb salad and pastrami burger and sweet potato fries. They have a great selection and everything is just so good. The inside atmosphere is very lively yet peaceful which features walls with city lines of New York which is a really nice touch. It’s always clean inside and their service is good. Their garlic-mayo sauce and creamy BBQ makes anything taste heavenly I promise. Parking is pretty convenient, although they don’t have their own parking, it’s easily found around the block and doesn’t have meters so you could chill there as long as you like!

I love this place the food is great best kosher restaurant in Los Angeles. The only complaint I have it is hard to know when your order is ready. Instead of reading off the name it would be nice to call out a number over the muffling PA system.

The food is good and can’t go wrong with whatever it is you’re ordering. The reason for the 4⁄5 stars is because its not always easy to find a seat. Once you do find a table it feels like people keep staring you down waiting for you to leave so they could take it. I feel they should add more tables/chairs… Im sure the floor plan could be made more iffeciant

I wouldn’t mind getting an average-to-below-average burger if it didn’t cost $ 10.95. I ordered a couple of the ‘fancier’ burgers, with roasted peppers and guacamole. I guess putting a couple veggies on a burger raises the price $ 4(?) The patties are nothing to speak of, and they use the really cheap kind of buns that you get on sale at Smart and Final to feed a little league team. This particular burger had a squirt of «guacamole» which is just that green goo that you wouldn’t dip a chip in. It started falling apart immediately and by the end you were just picking up the bits of toppings that fell out. The bottom bun was strangely cold. Like colder than room temperature. I don’t know how that happens. The environment there is pretty chaotic, as if no one had ever seen a regularly run restaurant before. It’s overly complicated and orders come out slooowwwwly. It seems pretty popular because of its kosher nature. If you don’t care about kosher, skip it. One last head-scratcher…the fries are completely UNSALTED. That’s just bizarre. Who would ever think leaving fries completely unsalted is a good idea? Who knows. L.A. Burgers down the street is the much better choice for a no-frills, un-gourmet burger where the price matches the quality. Here, I think they THINK it’s gourmet or something. It’s not. It’s just priced that way.

This is one of the best kosher fast food restaurants. I don’t keep kosher so I can compare it with non-kosher ones and I can say they have really good quality and delicious food. since it is kosher it is a bit pricey so that why I am giving it a 4 stars. But other than that it is great place especially to grab a late night meal.

Not too impressed from this place. I had the spicy sweet chili chicken fingers and they weren’t edible– over cooked, hard to chew. Great fries and I like how they offered a lot of sauces but none of them tasted very good. Chimmichuri tastes nothing like it should have, garlic mayo aoli had no taste. Pesto was alright but could have been thicker/made with more nuts. My friends ordered burgers which looked ok. Pretty much only gets a 3 star instead of a 2 because of the fries, lol!

Be careful!!! Even though they specify that they’re kosher they do not have a true understanding of any dietary restrictions. If you keep kosher or if you are vegan or vegetarian make sure you communicate with a manager prior to ordering or you may be in for a surprise. Under no circumstances deal with the cashier Charlie; she has no understanding of middle eastern food whatsoever. She has no idea what hummus was! I would also recommend staying away from the poultry there. My cousins turkey burger had to be sent back twice because it was pink. AGAINDONOTDEALWITHCHARLIETHEHISPANICBLONDECASHER… You will be left with an incorrect order and a HEADACHE!!!

I go to this place because of my kids. If you want attitude from order takers you are in the right place. I’ve called several times to order food for pick up, most of the time I have to call few times to complete a order. Not my favorite place to go to just because of their bad attitude. Resturant is the last place I want to hear attitude.

Boy, is this place popular! It was beyond packed on a Thursday night at 9:30pm, and we had to wait to find a place for the 5 of us to sit. It’s even more bumpin though when the clubs let out on Saturday! I was definitely pleasantly surprised with how good the food was… the large wing plate with 12 wings and fries is AMAZING. We got the bbq flavor extra crispy and they were packed with flavor. My friend and I shared those along with 1 classic burger, which is a change if you’re used to the big juicy cheeseburgers a la Umami or In n Out, but is quite fresh and flavorful, AND Kosher! My favorite part has to be the endless amount of condiments you can choose from to add to any burger or get on the side, from garlic mayo, to bbq, to pesto.

Pico between Fairfax and Doheny is a bit of a food desert, crying out for an In and Out. LA Burger Bar wants to answer that call, but unfortunately all they deliver is static and a busy signal. It’s OK. But it isn’t astounding. In-And-Out or Fatburger deliver a superior product for less money. The atmosphere is hot, sparse, and practically screams, «Hey shut up and eat your food, and then get out.» The staff is fine. Competent, although if you peak in the kitchen you’ll see the cooks yelling at each other. The rest of the patrons at this place are the biggest turn off. They reek of B.O. and polyester and you’ll frequently find yourself getting shoved or listening to two people yell-talk. I don’t think anyone would shed a tear if this place was replaced by one of the two dozen better burger places in L.A.
