cheap. easy. got a coupon for 5.99 for my next visit. nothing too special here, but my eyebrows looked good. i just hate the center it’s in. im not a fan of parking and the confusing labyrinth that is the howard hughes center. but if youre in the area and already shopping in the center, go get your brows togetha gurl.

I used to absolutely LOVE this place and even knew the schedule of the girls that worked there. But, when I went there one Friday afternoon as I would do every 2 or 3 weeks, the shop was boarded up, the desk and chairs(and even the floor boards!) were ripped up, and papers were all over the bare floor. I don’t know what happened, but they picked up and left rather quickly and without giving their customers ANY notice. That tells me that something was definitely wrong, even though their work was amazing. So, I don’t know what happened, but I’d like to know if they moved or completely shut down.

I really like this brow shop. I used to frequent Ziba; they do great work but I got tired of the long lines and it’s not always convenient for me to drive over there. Then I tried that crappy brow shop in the Fox Hills mall, SHAPES; the threaders there are super incompetent. They gave me one thick brow and one thin brow. Ugh! LA Browz is great because the staff is always nice and all of the times I’ve been there, they’ve taken their time and made sure I liked them before I left the chair. The threaders also seem pretty knowledgeable about brow shape and proportion. I’m so glad I have a brow place like this so close to home.

I had my eyebrows done by Shristi and she takes her time to make sure your eyebrows are done exactly how you want. I am always apprehensive about threading places because the best places to go in SoCal are usually in artesia and the best place that used to do a fantastic job when I lived in NY was this small place in Brooklyn heights called eyebrow zone. I frequented the thread bar in westwood and one girl does it really well but the wait is so long for her and there was one who royally messed up my eyebrows, didn’t get everything and literally hurt my skin. So I’m really happy that I have another place to go to if i cant make it over to the thread bar. The massage at the end is fantastic as well! They also have a frequent flyer card where the 5th one is free.

Amazing! I got my eyebrows done with Shristi and she did an awesome job. Loved the massage they give at the end of the threading! The place is very clean and service is great. Will definitely come back.

I’ll start off by saying that I will be coming back. The space occupies the closed cigar place I really liked. Anyway, I came to the Howard Hughes Center for lunch. If there wasn’t just one person working there I might have gone in but my lunch time is short and precious to me. It seemed clean enough and they offer MAC cosmetics. They offer threading, makeup, eyelash and hair extensions. I’ll be back for their services maybe in the afternoon when there aren’t other people there. Their threading prices look really good but it’s all about quality of work. Side note: If you have time I’d run in and grab a coupon they have on their desk 30% off MAC products!
