I don’t come here often but when I do I never have a major problem with the food cuz they’re always good! Well to me at least. Today I came here with my mom and son for lunch and I ordered beef mami. It was so good and full of flavor! There was a good portion of the beef which was nice. My only tiny complaint was I wish there was more noodles too. I felt like there was more broth than noodles. I also ordered tocilog and bbq silog to go. Loved both of them! Well I like anything with garlic rice so theres that. I’ll def come back in the future when i crave filipino breakfast again!

We visited Kowloon Dimsum today and the food was excellent! I’ve tried the Asado Siopao, chicken Embotido, Halo-Halo and Dinuguan among other things that we ate. The visit was worth the while. You should try eating there and meet the lovely owners, Joseph and Linda. We will definitely go back!

I would not give this place a star but that is the minimum set by Unilocal. They used to give you enough sauce for the siopao. Today, I bought 8 pcs of siopao. Not only was their repacked sauce smaller in size, they refused to give me extras. The old female server said that from now on they are only giving one sauce per siopao. Any extras, customers will have to pay 25 cents each. She was so rude on how she said. For a watered-down version of sriracha sauce, 25 cents is too much. It was repacked and not licensed for sales. FDA should shut them down. The Taho was also watered-down. There was only half the amount of soft tofu in the cup. We’ll never come back to this place.

First time trying today. I ordered the breakfast special with corn beef and eggs served with garlic rice. It’s actually really good! I want to come back and try some other dishes. They just got a new returning customer.

okay this place was pretty average i mean it wasn’t like crazy amazing i got the pork and shark fin and shrimp shumai and that was really nice and it was super cheap and it was hot but if i didn’t have it with anything it would have been super dry and i don’t like to add a ton of condiments to my food because i try to avoid the extra sodium and there are definitely better ways to season your food than just with a ton of salt cause I’m not that big of a salt person anyway so lets discuss how these dumplings so let me get this straight is it sio mai or shumai or siu mai because i always thought it was shumai but i might be wrong but those are three very different spellings so i’m not sure anyway so these dumplings had pork and shrimp and shark fin inside and i’ve never had shark fin before and i felt kind of bad about eating it but then i found out that it was barely in it and it was mostly just pork like i could not taste any shrimp at all so i bit the dumpling in half to look and it was like all pork but thats okay because the pork was still pretty good so i tried dipping a little bit of one dumpling into soy sauce but like i said i don’t like soy sauce that much so i was very happy that i also got goto which is like a yummy rice porridge and it has green onion and pork in it and it has like an egg taste to it and it was so good so i dipped my dumpling in that and it was really cheap like only six bucks for the dumplings and goto and a bottle of water which was awesome and the service was really fast like my food was done so quick i almost thought they had just reheated it but i don’t think they did that because that would be dishonest and they seemed very honest and it was also very hot inside so maybe they need to get some air conditioning and it would make people more comfortable also when you go inside they don’t always have someone at the register so you have to scream«hello»

Love this place! I feel like I’m in Philippines whenever I’m here. I usually get the Sharksfin which feels me up real good! Their Taho is good too! Their Beef Tapa meal comes with eggs siningag rice and soup! Also the Beef Mami is something to have when you’re feeling a noodle soup! It’s so good! Also get Chicken Lugaw which is a childhood favorite! Their Halohalo is okay. Oh yeah their mini siopao is great! All in all come here! It’s also very affordable! :)

Old recycled food. Tough siopao. Not a good place to satisfy Pinoy craving. will not recommend or come back anymore.

I’ve been going to this place since they were at Lorenzana’s. My go-to place because I’m cheap and so easy to please.

I’ve been coming here a lot lately. Always love their jumbo siopao. When I was a kid back in Manila, my mom always buys me their huge siopao and I could actually down a couple of their siopaos in one sitting. I was a fatty back then. lol I also love their chicken lugaw and beef wonton soup. Those were the items that I’ve tried so far. Parking is insane though. Try to come here during off peak hours.

The only dim sum here is siomai. Pork and shark fin. Everything else is Filipino food. Filipino buffet, mani noodles, and Filipino breakfast served all day. Beef tapa, corned beef, spam, pork longanisa, tapa, adobo, banged, tinapapa, and BBQ Silog. Along with pan it, lugaw, lomi, taho, halo halo, sago, and some boba. All these items are no more than $ 6. This joint is considered fast food. But not drive through fast. If you plan on eating take out, best to order ahead. We come here always to order the asado siopao. A dozen with tax is about $ 15. Yes, they do accept credit/debit.

The food is inexpensive and delicious. I recommend the Sharks fin and one of their Lugaws(rice porridge). The atmosphere, well you don’t come for that here, you come for the good food.

Kowloon has been around for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a kid, I remember coming here. I don’t remember it being spectacular before and it’s definitely not spectacular now. It’s Filipino comfort food though that’s priced well and is quick. Some of the items I regularly order are the beef mami(beef noodle soup), taho(soft tofu pudding with syrup), and lugaw/arroz caldo(rice porridge). I definitely enjoy their beef mami, it’s much more tasty than their chicken mami. Their taho is hit or miss. Some days, the taho has enough syrup and is balanced, other times the syrup tastes watered down and the tofu is bland as it is so it ends up being pretty tasteless. Their lugaw is good too; it’s also one of my favorite dishes. I’ll be coming back, but mainly for the beef mami and occasionally, taho.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid — when the owner’s kid and I were still enrolled in the same school a few miles down the road. Always a «comfort food» experience for me. Mami is always cooked just right. Arroz caldo on sick days. And sometimes a little tokwat baboy if we’re extra hungry. Parking leaves a little to be desired, as this is always a high-traffic plaza, but over all I hope this is a place I can bring my kids to as my parents brought me(even my husband frequented this place as a kid!).

Me and my sister decided to stop by at this place for siopao before picking up our lunch at pampangga’s grill since its in our way! We ordered 3 of the mini sausage siopao and 3 of the asado! Later this afternoon i decided to try one of the siopao’s!Oh my god one of the sausage were hard as a rock and the bun smelled bad(moldy)! It wasn’t edible at all! Gross!Gross!Gross! Go to chowking instead of coming here! Never coming back!

Im giving this place 5 stars because of the great experience i had when i was here with my family. They deserve to have 5 stars because –food was really good –everything is in an affordable price –lots of selections for your favorite Filipino turo-turo dishes that you miss from the Philippines –the owner was really nice & friendly –it makes you feel like you are back in the Philippines –its in the area close to Filipino stores & groceries –They have Taho, Halo-halo and different desserts The only thing is when it gets busy, there’s a long line. But it’s worth the wait tho coz the food is really good

I used to come here as a kid so because of sentimental sake I came back more than 20 years later to reminisce on the once great Filipino food I had. I think it’s probably due to a change in ownership. I ordered a bunch of sharksfin and beef soup only because I’m rarely in the area and I wanted to devour that same taste I remembered as a child. It fell disappointed. The sharksfin was pretty dry with the ends a little difficult to chew. The beef soup used a cheaper version of meat than they did in the past and even my family noticed the difference as well. Will I return? Probably not. I don’t want to further taint the flavor or what remains of what great taste Kowloon once had.

Really great place for simple, quick, cheap Filipino food. I have no idea how they’ve managed to keep their prices down for all these years, but it’s solid stuff. The siomai isn’t the best tasting siomai, but it’s simple and satisfying. They have great tokwa’t baboy(fried tofu and beef in a soy-vinegar sauce), and lugao/arroz caldo/goto(the Filipino version of congee). Their beef mami is good too — lots more flavor than their chicken mami, but I’ve always preferred beef broth over chicken, regardless of the restaurant.
