Attempted to go to the drive through. The store is supposed to be open until 11pm. We were greeted with«We’re closed» with no further response. So rude.

Came back to give this place another chance. SUPER disappointed. I purchased a 6 piece meal. And there was only 5… They gave it to me as soon as I got to the window. Couldn’t have taken an extra few seconds to make sure they got the order right?

They hire a special kind of idiot here. When they can’t even get an unaltered order that is the 3 piece combo on their meal and a drink, you really have to question the integrity of the meal itself. It’s my own fault really, for trusting such a simple task to someone who truly doesn’t care about their job nor the service of their customers.

It’s a KFC. With a drive through. And sometimes, you want that. Not often of course. That would be bad. But sometimes… KFC is exactly what you want and you don’t want to actually walk in there, do you? Oh, this location still serves the«famous bowl» — some locations don’t seem to have that anymore. And everyone knows the famous bowl is the only thing to order at a KFC… little pieces of what is probably chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, cheese and gravy. Yes. Thank you — drive through.

Kinda slow with the service compared the the others. However they do hook u up with something extra if you do have to wait too long.

I can’t say it enough, if they can’t get my order right why do they think fastfood workers deserve a raise. It is something so simple, I asked for something, your repeat it to me and of course I don’t realize until I am 4 biocks away that they didn’t give it to me. Partially my fault for not noticing but come on, give me what I asked for.

My friend found a hair in her bowl and I got food poisoning from their bowl. 1⁄10 would not recommend. And the traffic getting here and going back to our apartments was horrible :(

Ordered a 10 piece hot wing meal. When I opened the box, there was only 8 hot wings!!! They switched out 2 of the hot wings for strips!!! Did they think we wouldn’t notice? Or… do they not know the difference between a strip and a wing? I was soooooo angry. Other than that, the mashed potatoes were delicious

I usually never write reviews for anything but when I went to order 10pc chicken bites on the menu they told me they were out. Ok, I guess. So I decide to order the 6pc hot wings, great! I pay and stupidly dont check the receipt or the order to see if it was right and this ends up haunting me. I open my box and not only do i see none of my wings are sauced(just regular wings, one was literally just bone, not even kidding) but also I was overcharged for 10 pieces when I was given(and ordered 6). Never had any fast food place mess up this badly. Never again.

CLOSESTKFCTOUCLA(ASFARAS I KNOW). I love fried chicken, and I love how this place is open pretty late(like 11pm?) I especially love their Crispy Fried Chicken. Came at night and got some sweet deals… not sure if they give better deals at night because they’re trying to get rid of chicken, but probably. It was $ 10.99 for 10 pieces + one side + biscuits, or $ 14.99 for 14 pieces + two sides + biscuits. That’s a pretty sweet deal… just saying. Yay fried chicken.

I’ve tried their drive thru a few times, and they’ve been ok.

I go with the Double Down… Yup, that famous fried chicken breast sandwich with 2 pieces of fried chick as the bread, sandwiching 2 pieces of cheese and 2 pieces of bacon… Also, they got coupons they pass out all the time if you live anywhere in a 3 mile radius, so keep a look out in your mailbox if you wanna save like 3 bucks! Adds up if you are a KFC head like me… I am highly critical on drive thru logistics, and this place has a window that is one of the worst of all time… If you try to get close, the closest you can get without rashing up your wheels is like 4 feet from the window cus there is this stupid huge curb there that juts out… This makes food handoff and paying a bitch… Also, who the fark makes you sign for drive through credit card payments any more??? I have litterally dropped your pen 2 times in the 12 times I have been here… that is way too high of a handoff error ratio… Upgrade your systems and get with the modern no signature required type swipes… If you can get over their poor drive though or prefer to dine outside(they have a few tables on wilshire), then this place is a decent option for hungover Sunday fast food when all you want to do is sit on the couch and sleep after too much drinking in West LA the nights before…

The drive in for this particular chain was very slow and the woman on the intercomm couldn’t get my order right and I had to repeat myself several times. If something is called fast food then part of the trade off has to be that it is fast right? I’m not sure what the dining room is like but it took them about five minutes to get the car in front of us their food, five minutes to take our order and then another 10 minutes to get it out for us. At twenty minutes before we even see our food we are approaching some sit down restaurants in time. I cannot stress enough how accurate these times are. I am not embellishing them at all. We pulled in to the drive through at right around 6:12pm and didn’t leave with our food until almost 6:35pm. At that point we were watching the clock in disbelief. I literally turned my pickup off while waiting at the pickup window and the engine was turned off for so long that it had cooled off when I restarted it. Don’t get me wrong. I like KFC but part of the reason that I come here is to get food that I like quickly and not have to wait for what seems to me like a ridiculous time. I will admit part of the reason it was such a big deal was because I was extremely hungry and was in a bit of a rush, but again, isn’t that the situation that fast food was made for? After the fact, the food was standard quality for KFC. It tasted good and was pretty filling. Normally I would give a KFC or other fast food joint 3 stars just because I am seeing them for what they are but 20 minutes seemed excessive to me. Side note — I wrote most of this review(c85%) in the drive through lane of the KFC in question, on the virtual keyboard on my phone. I include this in the review just to give you an idea of how long we were sitting there. I mean, I’m a decently fast typist on my phone, but not that fast.

Was pretty satisfied with the food I received — 3 extra crispy strips with a side of corn on the cob and a side of mashed potatoes with gravy. The corn was AMAZING, but the mashed potatoes were uh. alright. The strips were tasty, but one of the pieces was exceedingly salty for my tastes. I came here for lunch one day and asked if I can choose my sides for the two piece meal(they have those meals for under 500 Calories, but I sooo did not want the string beans and the healthier option sides, so I requested to change the sides), and the cashier said yes, so my order was originally a 2 piece strip meal with corn and mashed potatoes, but I guess either she did not quite understand me or she just couldn’t do it. Ah well… no worries. This is definitely not a sit-down fried chicken restaurant, so if you’re looking forward to have a nice sit-in KFC place to chill, this isn’t the one for you: P

This is the worst KFC branch. They gave me SALMONELLAPOISONING! The people working at this particular branch seem to always be goofing off, and they always run out of items. I don’t care that they want to flirt with each other or play around, but when they tend to get my order wrong nearly everytime, then maybe they should give a bit more attention to their job. I rarely go there in the 4 ½ years I’ve lived near it, because the service is so abysmal and because they always mess up my order. And it seems like I have to repeat my order(once I did this three times) to different people talking on the speaker box. Then the food comes, and sometimes when they run out of an item I ordered, they just replace it with something they do have without even asking me. It’s like a surprise grab bag of food! Their food always looks undercooked. The mac-and-cheese is a pasty, cold, congealed orange mess. But, last time I went I got really, really, really sick. I’m talking green liquid BMs(that’s right, diah rea!), headaches, body aches, chills, fever symptoms, stomach cramping… it was horrible. And it lasted for over two days! No amount of Immodium AD, Maalox and banana eating would help it. It was like a running faucet. :( I do believe that will be my very last KFC meal I ever eat for the rest of my life. I should’ve learned my lesson long ago.

Went here at 9PM on a Sunday night after calling and verifying that they were closing at 11PM. By the time we got there they said they were out of chicken strips and potato wedges and pretty much anything we had in mind to order. They straight up told us that they«preferred for us to order the original recipe» because they already had some they could reheat and the other stuff was too hard to make and«the person in charge of making food was lazy earlier in the day». This is even though the place was empty and the staff just looked like they were dicking around! =(We said we were willing to wait for them to make our food since we’d walked a few blocks to get there, but they said they were closing in 10 minutes… and when I corrected them they kind of just rolled their eyes. We ended up ordering side dishes and they gave us half scoops. So much for my $ 1.69. Gah. I feel like I normally don’t get frustrated enough to Unilocal about stuff but I am almost this close to calling in and whining to corporate. :sigh:
