One of my favorite stores! I have an obsession with capes and this is where I bought my first cape. It cost me about $ 350 and it was completely worth it because where can you find a good quality non-vintage cape in Los Angeles for less than $ 800 or so? The clothes here isn’t the cheapest but the quality is great so I think it’s definitely worth it. BUT the best thing about this place are the SALES. When they have sales, wow they mark down the prices. If you can’t afford the clothes regular priced, I definitely recommend checking out the sales and getting a few key pieces for your wardrobe.

HELLSYEAH that this is a good-for-your-money kinda store. Good office clothing, very feminine, a little bit overkill with the logo on everything(Brits love their brands). But everything is reasonably priced for good quality. I first saw this label in Paris a year ago and it looks like they’re going to open a New York store in Soho. Nice job, Karebear.

I am so happy that my fiftieth ‘First Review’ can be a place I adore so very much! Karen Millen is an English designer, whose work I quite admired, but couldn’t really afford when I used to live in London. Now that I’m in SoCal, I get very sad about the fashion(which literally is years behind… a bonus in a way, because a lot of my old clothes are in vogue here), and I start longing to see what people are wearing on High Street Ken. All I need to do is come to Karen Millen and pretend that I’m wealthy, and try everything on. It’s a quick fix. Plus, when there ARE sales, they are AMAZING. And I have the most gorgeous leather riding boots to show for it. Cor! Wizard!
