I used to love this place. It was great, their portions were good, the food was tasty, and it wasn’t so expensive. Our office used to always order delivery from here, and even their take out containers were quality material. however, the last few times we have called, no one has answered. I think they closed down. I hope not. Can anyone confirm?

This place was great. Great prices. Always extremely quick. Great quality. Consistent. Everyone was nice. Couldn’t have been a better place. Pretty sure they closed down though. I used to eat here almost every day, but now I’m not sure where to go to eat anymore.

Had the Pad Ki Mao, fantastic! Had the veggie rolls, so good. Love it. The staff were friendly and attentive, I recommend this place if you’re on Melrose and you’re hangry

Yummy and spicy. I ordered the salmon fillet with curry and requested that my salmon be cooked rare due to the fact that I read a review that the salmon was dry. My salmon was delicious. My friend ordered the curry panang extra spicy and with chicken. It was blow your head off spicy, just the way he wanted. He claims«it is the best spiciest curry I’ve had in LA.» Overall, the prices are good, the portions are just enough to have a little extra the next day, and the curry tastes authentic.

My sister and I went here on Sunday afternoon after doing a little browsing at the Fairfax Flea market and I am so happy we did. I had been craving chicken panang curry all week and Kamin satisfied my craving, it was spicy, delicious and only $ 8 for lunch which came with a delicious salad. We also ordered the shrimp & chicken pad thai, coconut shrimp and thai ice tea which all were great! I will definitely be back whenever I’m in the area.

I got delivery a few times now from Kamin Thai Fusion. The spicy fried rice is the best fried rice I’ve had in LA. I also very much liked the spicy Thai peanut pasta. The last time I ordered I had a bad few bites of chicken satay. It was cartilage-y. The peanut sauce that goes with it is nice, but they don’t give enough to dip each bite. The Chicken curry was very disappointing. I would eat here more if the chicken improved.

Thai Fusion can be a dangerous attempt at cuisine but this place does a good job of it. Not too pricey and lots of options for anyone from a squeemish vegan to the experienced head cheese enthusiast. Anyways good food, the Pad See Ew is thick(though lacking Bean Curd). The Satay is VERY lackluster however but made up for by nice sesame chicken. And Unilocal just told me I’m a wizard of words… Not the best place on Melrose, but a place I would recommend for a quick, quiet and hearty meal!

Been here twice. First time I didn’t love it. Second time I’m pretty pleased. Would give it a 3.5 stars overall. I just got myself an $ 8 lunch that includes a Pad Thai with tofu and a surprisingly delicious house salad. If you’re doing take-out, I would skip the entire menu and just focus on the lunch options.

Ordered delivery on a Sunday night. Arrived promptly and food was hot. Everything we ordered came exactly as stated and was some of the better Thai we have had in LA. Staff is on top of everything and we will definitely be going to dine in soon.

Hidden gem. I had no idea this place was so good. My go to dish is actually their house salad. It’s so light and flavorful and only $ 4. I mean… come on, what more could you want?

Even though the name of this restaurant is so close to the name of someone I wish would die a miserable death, I LOVE the food here. The Thai Iced Tea is not sickly sweet. It’s made to perfection. The pad thai is as good as it gets, and everything else I have had is just wonderful. Coconut rice is a must. I wish they gave an upgrade option from regular ice to coconut rice, because I wind up ordering coconut rice and throwing out the regular rice.

You actually have free parking in here and around Melrose this is a plus. Just make sure to take the receipt to the parking guy. The food, I had Padthai with shrimp and chicken. The food is great. It was little bit sticky but, that’s good because it means that they are not loading with oil when it is made. Taste is great for people like me who wants a little bit of sweetexotic flavors sometime. I wish one or two more shrimp in the plate though, it came only with 2 shrimp. Beside that the place is simple, food is great, parking is excellent.

I ordered the yellow tofu curry and it was really bland and tasted watered down. The pad Thai wasn’t too bad, but lacked some flavor. Not sure if I would go back, but if I did, I would NOT order their curry dishes again.

Such good, fresh tasting food! Loved the pad see yew and curry, and EVEN the pad thai(which i usually dont). pad thai was fresh and not too sweet or artificially-colored bright orange,

The elusive perfect bowl of Pad Thai is, regrettably, very hard to find in a big city like Los Angeles. But, that being said, they’ve come pretty close at Kamin. I know ordering Pad Thai from a Thai restaurant isn’t much of an adventurous move, but cut me some slack, it’s one of my favorite dishes. So I was very glad to see that Kamin has an everyday Pad Thai special. You pick the meat you want, then the toppings, and you’re good to go. I went for a standard chicken and shrimp. For comparison’s sake, I also ordered the Chili Basil Spaghettini at a friend’s suggestion. Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai I’ve eaten a lot of Pad Thai in my life, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience. So, naturally, expectations were pretty high that I’d get just another good, standard, bowl of Pad Thai to add to my log. But Kamin’s Pad Thai is something special. Not only was the food brought to me within minutes of ordering, but everything was made exactly to my liking. The rice noodles had been properly layered and coated, preventing any pockets of flavor-free zones(which I have experienced at other restaurants), and allowing every single bite to be delicious and satisfying. The chicken was juicy, the shrimp was plump, and the egg-scallion-tofu-bean sprout topping was as good as it could have been. This is just a damn good bowl of Pad Thai. And for $ 10, the deal only sweetens. My only complaint: the shrimp portion is discernibly minimal. I don’t think you’ll miss much by ordering the dish with only chicken and saving yourself a buck. Up to you. Chili Basil Spaghettini The Chili Basil Spaghettini is a dish that really lives up to the titular ‘Fusion’ that Kamin is going for. The stir-fried chili basil chicken, a fairly common Thai medley, sits on a pile of soft Spaghettini noodles, and the entire thing is bathed in a delicious pool of creamy beurre blanc. The Italian and French influences in this dish are undeniable, and they pair surprisingly well with the Thai ingredients. You can just take your chopsticks, fold the dish over into itself, blending everything into a rich, dark brown sauce, and then not share with anyone. There’s a little spice to it(nothing you can’t handle), and all the flavor melt harmoniously together. It’s honestly such a unique dish, and well worth the price of $ 11. Then, when no one’s looking, I’d recommend using a spoon to get the rest of that beurre blanc sauce. You could honestly drink that stuff with a straw. You can’t go wrong with either item here, so follow your heart when you order. But don’t forget they have a whole menu full of unique fusion dishes that sound equally appetizing.

Guys, I may need a Kamin Thai delivery intervention. I order from this place atleast once a week and so does my roommate. Sometimes twice in a week. I do it through grub hub and the delivery is SOSO fast. My favorite dish has become the Thai Peanut Pasta, spicy. Whaaaaaaat??? It’s so good, try it! I also love the Sauteed Haricort Vert, with no tofu. Other dishes that are EXCELLENT: Yellow curry, garlic stir fry, tom kah, ginger stir fry. The best it gets!!! Thank you, Kamin!

My friend and I were looking for a place to pickup food late on a Sunday night and stumbled across this place not too far from his place. We called in at 9:50 thought they closed at 10pm and they still took our order which was great. We ordered pad see ew, green chicken curry, and chicken dumplings. The food was ready in about 10 minutes which was awesome as well. I think my favorite dish was probably the green chicken curry, though I wish we had more rice to go with it. It had a nice flavor and a good amount of spice as well. The chicken dumplings were pretty uneventful. Decent tasting, but nothing to write home about. The pad see ew was also tasty but I wish that it had more broccoli and other mix ins to give it that crunchy texture. Overall, this place is pretty good especially for quick delivery or pick up. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. Also to note, there is seating in the restaurant as well, but space is limited.
