Kale Cart is an awesome service run by friendly people! So happy it’s downtown!

Wow! Absolutely love my weekly delivery of organic produce, protein and grains. Ryan, Marci, and Lily are fantastic. The value is phenomenal and the service is exceptional.

Good quality produce. Also, the only produce delivery service we’ve found that lets you select a grain and a beverage to include with the weekly shipments. Cool that they deliver by bike to be eco-​friendly and everyone at the company is super friendly.

Kale Cart, where have you been all of my life?
I’ve used other produce services and have always been a little disappointed in the variety and/​or delivery service. I love the fact that I was able to select a day and time frame for delivery. I also received a message from the delivery guy, which was much appreciated, as I was able to confirm where he should go rather than getting an email hours later letting me know they he was unable to deliver (yes, the other companies have done this to me before and it was very frustrating). Another thing that I liked was the option for items other than produce (organic eggs and Stacy’s pita chips? Yes, please!). The produce is all beautiful and fresh, the bananas need a few days to ripen, which is perfect because I hate having to waste food because it’s all ready to eat at once.
On top of all of this, I had a wonderful personalized note from Marci! I will definitely be looking forward to my future deliveries!

We ordered at 10 and had to cancel because they were closed, even tho Unilocal and their own website says opened, then we ordered again today before 2pm and we had to change the ordered because they were out of items then we finally had to cancel because they wanted to deliver ONE ice cream way!!! Fools are running this business!

I have had a good experience with Kale Cart. One problem with living downtown is that there is very little access to fresh produce. Ryan takes care of this problem swiftly with his weekly deliveries. They are very flexible and had no problem working around my hectic schedule. Also, they don’t mind making substitutions in orders for things you like/​dislike: for example, I really like kiwis and I am not so fond of bananas. Changing them out was as quick as a text message.
I highly recommend the service and the kale chips they make are delicious!

I’m a huge fan of Kale Cart! They’ve got an important mission, a heart for the DTLA community, and super fresh organic produce delivered by bike! The founder, Ryan, is really friendly and they’re great at accommodating all kinds of special requests (foods, other products you need delivered, delivery time changes, etc…)
I’m excited to see Kale Cart grow — get it while it’s fresh!
