This is a member service for the Kaiser Permanente HMO, and it is a good alternative to going to the Emergency Room. The wait is usually a half hour to an hour to be seen by a doctor without an appointment.
The South building (#6) is small, so the Urgent Care area at room 182 is easy to find.
South 1 has a private parking lot and it’s own pharmacy. if you need to get around the hospital campus which is huge, there are shuttles, with 2 stops at South 1. Use the call box and a shuttle will be there in minutes.
If there is a copay for Urgent Care it is usually low.
