Awesome place. This was where they took my suicidal ex. Very helpful and courteous staff.

This place is scary and I gained 60lbs while being here and made me more depressed and crazy leaving than when I came in before! My best advice is take the patients out on a supervised walk or add in some weights, gym equipment or intetnet for entertainment. When all you do is eat, sleep and get medicated at a mental health, u are not helping the patient but putting gas on a fire! Help us to be health not die!!! what the hell?! glad i got released from this place! Took me a YEAR to loose all the weight i gained from onl sleeping, eating and taking pills that make u gain weight in this facility.

While the facility is filled with good hearted people, the lack of 1 on 1 therapy was the # 1 reason I checked myself out.

It’s an outstanding facility, Please believe me when i tell you, its the best of the best… The physiologist, the personal, the treatment, even the entertainment for our loves ones is top of the line. They really do take a care into their patients, a family member has been hospitalized there 2 times already and treatment is always good and overall most important its a quiet place for them to relax even if they dont like the fact of being away from home.
Its comfortable for their needs and the food is more than well served. Please if possible stay away from Cerritos college hospital, in cerritos, ca. its a horrible hospital with lack in character to deal with our dear loves ones… Costa mesa hospital is a well organized hospital but this facility tops all of them.
