I pretty much drooled all over my first Kachi review after my first visit and the and my second experience was no different. Keeping this short and sweet just to confirm that the experience was just as consistently high in quality, flavor, and meeting expectations. Service was fast, friendly and spot on despite having a lunch rush. Loved my Argentine steak sandwich-the flavors are fabulous. The accompanying side of sweet potato fries are the best I have ever had. No dipping sauce needed. The ultimate salad with added heart of Palm is fresh and tasty. They have so many great drink options and pastries too to choose from! Defiantly a great lunch spot. Don’t miss this if you’re in the area.

I live fairly close to Kachi and have been her a few times. My attempt this morning will be my last. The first time I came I inquired about what type of pastries they had and was promptly told I don’t know we get them from somewhere. Second time I ordered a burger and a brownie to go. Got home no brownie. Called and was told I must have forgot you can get one anytime you come back. I asked do you want my name and was told no I will be here. Now to this morning, I decided to try go and grab a coffee on the way to work. The hours posted on the Kachi website states they open at 7. I get to the door at 7:02. The girl was at the door and I ask are you guys open? She says 5 minutes. No reason. No apology. This is Los Angeles everyone is on a tight schedule. Kachi’s employees obviously couldn’t care less about the business and their customers.

Great coffee, great prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich. Nice little patio area out front. And fresh pressed juices. Coffee is much better than at the Starbucks across the street. This is my new spot. Only problem is they’re not open late or Sundays.

Kachi is conveniently located up the street from my work and offers a healthy alternative to the other lunch options around. I’ve ordered from Kachi twice using the Unilocal app and everything from placing the order to pick up went smoothly(they also deliver for free with a $ 20 min.). They are super punctual with their online orders if not a little bit too early. I’ve only eaten the Smoked Salmon Salad here but I love it. The salad is fresh and plentiful and there is more than enough smoked salmon and avocado to get you through the salad; you don’t even need salad dressing in my opinion but the balsamic vinegar is pretty tasty. At $ 9 a salad, I only frequent Kachi on paydays as a treat but am happy it is option!

Kachi is close to work so we frequent for lunch. Typically a go-to place for fresh and tasty salads(TIP: the Kachi salad in a wrap is a no-go) Today it’s raining and cold and comfort food sounded great. I ordered the shrimp fettuccine. Really tasty! Good Italian food is simple with fresh ingredients and very little to no sauce. This pasta dish is exactly that. The shrimp are big and plump. The pasta is slightly over cooked but not a deal breaker. Simple white wine, herbs, tomato and sweet pepper. A great dish with a little crushed red pepper added. Other favorites include the turkey artichoke panini, Kachi salad with tuna, Mexican wrap, and quinoa salad with chicken. I frequently call and order ahead and pick up. Staff is friendly and food is always packaged nicely.

We’ve been coming here for their juices, they have great selection, good quality! Unfortunately, the server/s have a bit of an attitude. Girl needs to learn some customer service, and how to smile. Tip: avoid OJ or packaged orange juice for your ingredient, just opt for all natural fruits and veges

Their food is good, yet their service sometimes questionable. I called to make an order for pickup, and the person was a bit rude explaining things to me. I get it, you make everything from scratch, and sometimes you need more time to prepare a large order, but fixing your tone a bit would help with customers. Don’t get me wrong, the food is good. I like their empanadas and their caprese sandwich. But, there is no «wow, I will crave this» factor. Also, bad customer service makes food less enjoyable. A plus is that they sell candy/chocolates I grew up eating– that makes me happy.

This is an excellent place to go for lunch, if you’re looking for a quick sandwich. I ordered the Cali, which was perfectly cooked and packed with turkey and avocado. If you dine in, the sandwich includes a side salad; which was a nice portion size. They also have other side dishes, chips and desserts, but I didn’t order any of those. I was very pleased with what I ordered.

Their beef and caprese empanadas are amazing and fully deserving of this exclamation point! If you are in the area, I would strongly recommend swinging by for some. They also serve good Groundwork coffee. They are located on Wilshire west of the 110 and it’s an easy, though not very common, walk from the business district.

Really liked this place. I ordered a cobb salad and it was fantastic. The energy level here is really positive and gives it a type of place you want to go when you need that special boost. I do recommend getting there before the lunch rush because it gets packed. The items are lite and healthy and they have some great alternatives to soda(even though I still ordered a Diet Coke!). Highly recommend Kachi if you want a great lunch experience in DT.

A solid lunch and coffee place — the only reason I took away a star is because their weekend hours kinda suck — they’re only open until 3pm on Saturday and not at all on Sundays. I live across the street and would love to be able to study here more often, but it’s pretty crowded during the week and not available on the weekends. I love that they have free Wifi and the vibe is really cozy and hip, though! That being said, the workers here are pretty pleasant, and the food is really yummy! Items I can personally vouch for: –Iced Dirty Chai: really flavorful and I love that they don’t fill your cup with mostly ice like other coffee places… *cough cough Starbucks* –Spanish Turkey Panini: Huge fan of the artichokes and aioli on this! I recommend getting it on wheat. Bonus: with every panini you get a side-salad(whatever it is that day) –Caprese Panini: really fresh ingredients and isn’t wet and mushy like capreses tend to be elsewhere –Kachi Salad: plentiful salad with egg, apple, bleu cheese, walnuts, cranberries, and balsamic –Arugula Salad: possibly my favorite thing on the menu because of the avocado and hearts of palm — such a tasty combo! –Sweet potato fries: YESYESYES a million times YES They also have pasta, empanadas, wraps, breakfast items, and a bevy of snacks including… KINDERBARS! True fans of the candy will appreciate that it’s not easy to find, so I usually pick one up when I swing by!

This is a great place to stop by for lunch. I usually order the Mexican chicken wrap. Lots of chicken with great aioli and comes with a salad side(they will pick for you). The staff is very friendly and the service is pretty quick. I’ve tried the tri tip wrap it’s pretty good as well. Overall great place for lunch or quick bite. Definitely I’ll be back again.

Because parking is next to impossible unless you’re lucky with street parking, you’re probably not going to make it here unless you work in the area. It’s a busy lunch spot. I tried the albacore tuna panini($ 7.50). Delicious, with the side salad, it was perfect for me. The food is fresh and satisfying. There’s a large selection of salads, sandwiches, and even grilled burgers. It’s moderately priced for downtown LA. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. Hey there’s free wifi here too. Great option from Starbucks across the street. Try to beat the lunch crowd though because seating can be difficult.

With it’s über modern décor and trendy ambiance, Kachi lured me in on a regular weekday for a quick lunch and a refreshing drink. I had walked past this place a few times before peeking in and being impressed by the cool design, retro art and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant is divided up in a comfortable corner with couches, a bar area with high chairs along side a large community table and for the most part it houses regular eatery tables and chairs for individual parties. Their menu is comprised of a variety of healthy dishes ranging from sandwiches, salads, breakfast items, entrees, smoothies, juices and coffees. I tried the Argentinean steak sandwich which was divine, mouth watering medium steak with a slightly tangy sauce, accompanied by lettuce and tomato, on a fresh and flaky baguette with a side of garden salad. Washed the great sandwich down with a refreshing Green Goddess juice. Which was perfect on this very hot day. The juice contained kale, cucumber, apple, pineapple and celery. Not a single ingredient was overwhelming, but all gave the drink a hint of their respective flavor in a perfect combination. It is slightly pricey, but to be fair and honest that is the consistent theme for all the eateries here in downtown LA. But for Kachi you really get your moneys worth, as everything seems to be of the freshest and highest quality. I would definitely go back to this place though, I am dying to try the Tri tip wrap and the Just Beet it juice :0) Parking is a B, but you know this is Downtown, but if you drive closer to Bixel and turn there is some street parking available. They also have free WIFI but no outlets, so come with your choice of a fully charged electronic device and enjoy the atmosphere, great food and creative wall art. Cheers to my fellow Unilocalaholics, have a great week!
