K Town Cleaners

Ask to remove stain on my polo and got big yellow circle of stain. Claims that the stain was there and the business is not responsible for the action. If I had my way, I would give minus star for this business.

I was devastated when the sleeve of my white silk shirt dredged through a lipstick display at a makeup store. I took my shirt to K-​Town Cleaners. At first glance, the lady at the counter said, «What is that?!» I said sadly, «lipstick.» She exclaimed, «but it’s white!» I said, «I know.» Then she looked at the tag and said, «and it’s SILK!» «I know,» I said.
I thought the shirt was ruined forever. They spot treated my shirt three times and got most of the color out of my shirt, to my happy surprise! It might not be like new, but it’s pretty damn close. I couldn’t be happier. Plus, even though they treated it three times, I was still only charged $ 5.25. I have been won over and absolutely love this place!

I used to like this place, but after they damaged my suit and then tried to say the hole was from wear and tear… argued with the owner for a half hour until I said I was a third year law student and would be contacting the state board.
Not going back.

I needed same-​day alterations for a pair of pants. Originally had my head set on going to another cleaners on Western and San Marino, but I misread the opening time. Mind you, it’s around 8am. So I continued walking around, called a few places, and stumbled upon K-​Town Cleaners on my way home. The open doors allowed me to see in and see that it wasn’t crazy busy, clean, and organized. I decided, what the heck! A man attended to me when I walked in. And indeed, it was clean and organized inside. There’s even a nice fitting room for 1 to try on your clothes if you need it. I liked that it was organized, and the orders are computerized. I needed about 1inch off my dressy pants. My subtotal is $ 8. Not bad for same-​day service. I dropped it off at 8:30am and said he could have them done for me by 3pm. I haven’t picked them up yet, so I’ll have an update review later. Anyways, I like that they were in fact open early (Monday-​Friday 7am-​7pm; Saturday 8am-​6pm; Sunday Closed) AND walking distance from my home. I’m crossing my fingers and hope they did a good job!
****UPDATE**** I just picked up my pants and they’re WONDERFUL! I am very pleased! Highly Recommend! :)
