I went to my first JD sample sale this past weekend. I got lost getting there, but it was worth it when I finally made it. It was overwhelming at first. I must have walked around the warehouse ten times, and each time I saw new bags I hadn’t seen before. I read Celeste’s tips before I went. I’m glad I did. I managed to buy a very nice leather bag and wallet for $ 60!!! The person next to me at the register bought 8 bags! It was fun and I can’t wait till the next sample sale. The sales people were very nice, and there were complimentary hotdogs and drinks. The warehouse is so much better than the outlet in Santa Monica.

I didn’t buy my Junior Drake bag from a warehouse sale but from an online retailer and just like Mina D said, my purse strap broke off after only about a month of using it!!! I was livid because no purse has ever done this to me no matter how much I’ve spent on it and no matter how much stuff I put in it. It was made sooooo poorly that literally the strap broke because it’s not stitched together it was glued with some type of leather glue. Such bad work. I really liked this purse and loved the leather, but seriously after the trouble I’ve had with the craftsmanship and with the poor customer service I’ve received, I vowed never to buy one of their purses again. I contacted them to see if they would repair it and after incessantly emailing them for 5 months they finally sent me some form that I had to fill out and then I would have had to pay for all of the shipping and handling for the repair! I was very disappointed with them especially since it was their fault that the purse was made cheaply. I thought at least they would send me a UPS shipping label so that I could ship it on their dime, that’s what other businesses do whenever it’s a manufacturing detail issue. So be warned their purses may look nice on the outside, but they are not made well.

My motto is: «Never pay full price!» Never. Not when you’re paying for clothes.(«Yes, I got it at Ross, and yes, it does look fabulous.»). And especially not when you’re buying beautiful leather bags and carry-alls at 25% of the MSRP! If we were all cave people, I’d be the best hunter AND the best gatherer. I’m good with a deal hunt and even better at gathering all the loot and taking it back to my place. This only applies if we were cave people with the ability to go shopping. I’ve scavenged the Junior Drake sample sale a few times, and I am always satisfied with my findings. Keep your eye out for coupons on social media sites, I gifted myself and my mother with $ 20 for $ 40 coupons. $ 40 goes a long way at a sale like this! Junior Drake’s sale is such a great secret. I love it. I love it. I love it. Sample sale tips: 1. Be meticulous. A fabulous cavegirl would never be found in public with a defective bag. Remember– this is a SAMPLE sale! Not every piece is perfect and Nordstrom’s ready! Examine your goods before you purchase and make sure all the straps and extras are in place. 2. Beat the rush. Don’t come at lunch hour on the Friday the sale starts. I have always come on the last day, and Junior Drake, bless their souls, still has great bags out and refresh the inventory each day they have a sale. 3. Get on the mailing list. They will often send e-mails before their big sale, so you can get a head start on hoarding your cash(though they do take credit!) and dreaming of which bags you want. 4. Be nice. Seriously. Don’t throw stuff around. Don’t cut in line. Don’t pick stuff up, carry it, and then put it back down somewhere it’s not supposed to be. Treat the cashiers and employees nicely! Last time I went, I was in a bit of a time crunch and they showed me straight to the best bags and had me out of there in a jiffy. Check out the Junior Drake sale sometime, it’ll be worth it. Now, let me go back to admiring my once $ 498 leather carry-all. Me Tarzan. You? Nice bag.

the 2 stars was for the quality of the bag. I bought this bag back in august, and in the second week of september(right before my birthday) my bag strap came off on one side. some might think its because i put alot of stuff in my bag, well yes i do thats the reason why i got the big bag from Junior Drake, but then i also found out a friend of mine who has the same bag as me and bought it from the warehouse, also had quality problems with hers. the sewing seam was coming off the top rim of the bag. she only has a wallet and few makeup in the bag thats it! my mom who went with me to the sale also bought a bag(different style than mine & my friends) and her bag strap came off as well. BIGDISAPPOINTMENT! I ABSOLUTELYLOVE my bag, but am so upset the strap came off… the quality was not great. id love to buy from them again, but not at the cost of having to get my strap repaired or sewing seams coming off etc…

The Junior Drake Warehouse Sample Sale! An amazing day with my girlfriend, and highly successful walking out with 4 purses and 2 wristlets all for under $ 120! So cheap! I have spent lots of bucks on Junior Drake bags! At Nordstroms and the Junior Drake Outlet store! So I was excited for this warehouse sale! What made it a great sale: — easy parking right outside the warehouse — large flags that say«SALE» which made it easy to find — free hot dogs, chips and soda — bags galore on sale! at affordable prices What sucked big balls: — The purse I bought a couple months ago for $ 100 I saw the exact same one here for $ 40! Ouch! I can’t wait till the next sample sale!
