I got Jorge’s/George’s number when I saw him and his wife going in to clean a neighboring building’s apartment. During our brief conversation he said it takes him and his wife about 3 hours to clean an apartment and it costs $ 90 total.
He seemed very nice, clean and professional. I booked him for the following Monday at 1pm.
He arrived 15 minutes late, which is absolutely not a big deal. But he refused to take his shoes off. We don’t wear shoes indoors, our carpets are clean and we mop the floor regularly, yet he absolutely refused to take his shoes off. Okay, so I gave him wet wipes to clean the soles of the shoes. He was reluctant to do so but obliged. I asked him if he cleans all of his houses in his shoes and he said he did and his customers wear shoes indoors.
Sorry buddy, not our house.
He looked around the apartment and said «I don’t want to clean your apartment, I’ve only got 1.5 hours before my next appointment». Turned around and left!
Stay the hell away from this guy.
