5 star for being on the bottom list. Drive thru didnt give me the order for my request. She said yes but still didnt get my requested order. Around 1 hr ago tonight. Not good at all.

Surprisingly tastes pretty much exactly like the Jolibee in the Philippines, which is to say, the sweet spaghetti is sweet. If you crave it, it’s right where you expect it. Bathroom has a lock that’s opened via a buzzer from the clerk counter, which is interesting. Not a big deal, bigger problem was, just like the Philippines, the ladies’ room did not have toilet paper.

Yet again I hear, «The Chicken Dippers will take 10 minutes and are not ready yet sir». Why do you have something on the menu that is never ready? Also, I know ketchup is a rare and extremely expensive resource on the level of gold but you should at least give your customers enough of this precious material without having to beg for more.

Really the only thing to eat here is the chicken. I like the chicken joy as well as the fries and the gravy, cheap, filling and tasty. The rest is pretty bad, skip the burgers and other sides. Service was fine, food takes a bit as the chicken strips are made to order. Not the best, but worth trying.

I was pretty excited when I found out there was a Jollibee near where I live. It feels like a total time travel. I really legit felt like I was in the Philippines. The staff was super friendly. I had the pancit Malabon and of course halo halo — a classic Filipino dessert. Will be coming back for sure

Good ol’ Filipino fastfood. Chicken from the local Jollibee in the Philippines tasted better but this is as good as it can get here in U.S. away from home. I ALWAYS order SPICYCHICKENJOY with a side of steaming white rice. You tear a piece of crispylicious, jucylicious(as the Jollibee ad goes) chicken then dip it into the savory gravy and eat it with a spoonful of rice. Or you can pour gravy over chicken and rice. Whatever way you do it, it will be soo good. :) The only thing better than this is ordering a bucket-size(6 or 8 pieces) Chickenjoy. Mushroom burgersteak with rice is also good. Pineapple juice(you have to tell them not to put too much ice) is also delicious. Also try their ube(purple yam) shake with boba or tapioca balls. So yummy! Spaghetti is okay. Pinoy style spag tends to be sweeter, and don’t be surprised if you see hotdog slices in it. Its a sweet and savory meal. FOOD: 5 stars SERVICE: 5 stars. Very pleasant employees. Its just weird when you talk Tagalog to them, they answer back in English even though it is apparent that they can speak the native language well. Maybe they are required to speak English? Overall, I give them 5 stars MINUS1STAR for very dangerous entrance/exit. I made a mistake of going thru the exit(the signage was small) to the right side and had to drive over the sidewalk in front of the store as I couldn’t back out into the busy street. Also I’ve frequently seen homeless people in and around the store.

Here is all I’m gonna say about this place. CHICKENJOY, PANCITPALABOK, JOLLYSPAGHETTI, PEACHMANGOPIE. All of which are sort of an acquired taste. The spaghetti does not taste like your normal meat sauce spaghetti. This is Fliipino style meat sauce spaghetti, its SWEET, my italians would probably slash their wrists when they taste this but for a great multitude of Filipinos across the world, this tastes like HOME. The chicken joy really brings JOY in your life. You eat this with rice and gravy, lots of gravy, do it like the Filipinos do and express no #RAGRETS because your soul will be much richer after eating. Get used to some inefficient staff chitchatting instead of serving or having 3 people in one spot where one person can already do the job, its just the way the culture is. I like it, its like Im entering a vacuum of not being in America when i enter a jolibee. Im gonna let you discover the greatness that is the peach mango pie and let you experience it for yourself, Just trust me on this. As somebody who grew up eating this stuff, i highly implore you to try it.

Recently I was having an intense craving for their spaghetti. Their spaghetti has a sweet flavor to it, which I was craving… badly. Boyfriend and I ordered the spaghetti, chicken sandwich, spam sandwich, and corn beef sandwich. Everything was decent. The next day I was craving the spaghetti again(lol!) We ordered the same thing again for lunch. MYBOYFRIENDAND I GOTSICKFROMTHEIRFOOD. We are both still recovering. Not sure if it’s from the spaghetti or the sandwiches but we definitely got food poisoning from Jollibee!

Jollibee is the most wildly inconsistent fast food restaurant in Los Angeles. Every visit is a roll of the dice, from freshness to preparation to portion size to cleanliness. That being said, it’s occasionally worth the gamble. I was introduced to Jollibee in 2008, when the Filipino chain opened its first branch in New York City. People were lining up outside the restaurant for weeks, hungry for the nostalgic taste of chicken joy and halo halo. When I first tasted their signature burger, I was hooked. They use a slightly sweet cream sauce that makes the otherwise unremarkable thin patty burger highly addicting. Their chicken is also tasty, featuring a thick, crunchy batter. The menu encompasses many realms of comfort food, from spaghetti to spam burgers. While their shaved ice halo halo is a perennial favorite, I prefer their jackfruit and banana fruit pie. Jollibee is not always a great experience, however. On my most recent visit, one of my burger buns was scorched on the grill, the dipping gravy for my crunchy chicken was cold and my fries were limp and waterlogged from steam. It’s not always this disappointing, and sometimes the results are far better. I just feel they should commit additional funds to ensuring quality control and uniformity between locations.

It’s bigger than Mcdeez in the Phillipines and even has its own TV show over there but I can’t say I like the food that much. It’s just okay for a quick sampling of what real Filipino food should taste like. It’s basically the Filipino equivalent of what Mexican food is to Taco Bell.

If you’re looking for crispy fried chicken that is actually SPICY, look no more. Jollibee serves their chicken up spicy and non-spicy, and all orders come with delicious hot gravy to dip. The only thing is they’re a bit salty. Probably great to pair with rice, but almost too salty to eat on it’s own.

I was craving Filipino spaghetti and the chicken with gravy. Hey, I’m Filipina so I love my Filipino spaghetti! Service was fast and friendly. Place is clean. Food was good. This isn’t 5 star dining so my expectations are realistic. I’m coming back for more spaghetti and chicken. I don’t care how anyone else rates this place.

I was craving Jollibee when I visited Los Angeles, and glad I came across this particular location. Service was great, food was delicious and overall a great experience. The chicken joy with spaghetti is what I ordered, along with a side of rice and gravy. If that’s a little odd of a combination for you, than you may not like it, but as a Filipino food combination, it was perfect. Keep in mind that their spaghetti is not like what you may be used to if you haven’t had Filipino spaghetti — it has a sweeter taste to it, which is what I love and remember from what my mom would make. Give it a chance and you may be pleasantly surprised.

With me visiting LA I had to get my Jollibee fix. Pinoy fast food burger with fries. Now that I got my fix I’m good for a couple years. That was fun.

Oh the Jolly bee! –Jollibee! How can you not see this Jolly weird looking giant bee as you drive along Beverly Blvd! I have to say, their location is not too bad considering they are really in a busy part of K-town! This fast-food serves a diverse options of Filipino food inspired meals. From something with rice, noodles, burgers or pasta! They have something for those looking for a quick bite!(Dine-in or to-go) Menu options are presented in their ordering marquee. Simplified from C1 to C4 each options comes with their own mix & match combo! I personally like the C4 — 3 pcs Chicken joy with 2 sides, this DELICIOUS crispy friend chicken is something I highly recommend, Jollibee’s fried chicken to be honest is the only reason I come here — it’s so fresh, crispy and yummy! Side options are corn, mashed potatoes or rice, I don’t have much good to say about the corn which was quite watery neither the mashed taters which has a bland flavor and weird in consistency, so the safest bet is the rice, request an extra gravy and pour on the rice — so good! Jollibee also serves some Filipino dessert such as «Halo-Halo»(Shaved iced with sweets), an assortment of sweet smoothie drinks, and the peach mango pie or banana«langka»(jackfruit) pie, it’s almost like a pie prepared like a hot pocket! It’s actually GOOD! Overall this Jollibee is okay, the place is clean and also has a drive-thru. Service is pretty quick but staff needs to be more enthusiastic — last thing I want to feel just before I get my food is to feel like I’m inconveniencing people — it doesn’t hurt to smile and it is a freebie you could give anytime to your customers. Cheers!

Everything felt very frozen. I am so disappointed. I was so excited to go because when I was in Manila, Jollibee saved my life! I was coming off a very tiring trip around Palawan and the only place I could eat at the airport was Jollibee and I loved their food! So good! But this location was mad disappointing. I think most of their items were shipped from the Philippines and just weren’t at a quality level I expected. And they store a lot of their food out in the parking lot in a shipping container! All around not great.

I opted for the drive-thru, and got my food & beverage very quickly. The staff members were easy to deal with. I order the N2 combo, which was comprised of a serving of spaghetti, 1 piece of «Chickenjoy»(fried chicken), and a free(according to my receipt) soft drink. Total cost was only $ 4.99+tax(there may have been an on-going promotion, as the listed menu price was $ 5.99). For the money, I was quite happy with what I got. The fried chicken was surprisingly well made — properly crisp skin, moist meat, and served with a ludicrously massive tub of gravy. While the spaghetti admittedly could have been better executed(the shreds of cheese were solid), I still thought it was not bad for only five bucks. I would definitely stop here again for lunch. If you are hoping for crispy pata, loganiza, tocino, or lechon kawali, this is *NOT* the place for you, and you should instead dine at L.A. Rose Café a few blocks north on Fountain Ave. Having said that, if your palate is not a particularly discriminating one, and you are willing to settle for a cheap, quick meal of dubious lineage and authenticity, this is *just* the spot for you! :D

I never thought I’d give a fast food chain such a high rating, but Jollibee isn’t your run of the mill American fast food. Instead of focusing on mundane burgers, sloppy tacos, or greasy pizza, Jollibee’s menu has fried chicken, steak, traditional noodles, rice, fries, burgers, and even spaghetti. This location is near the busy intersection of Beverly and Vermont but with the bright yellow entrance and little bee mascot waving at you, it’s hard to miss. The drive-thru is pretty narrow with diagonal parking spaces all the way around it, including a couple right next to where the order box is. If you’re lucky, you get to sit and wait for a nervous soccer mom in a huge minivan to slowly back out of her spot and into the drive-thru lane. Like I said the menu is pretty diverse, but a couple of my favorites are the Aloha Burger and spam Little Big Bite. The Aloha Burger is complete with all the typical condiments and a big slice of pineapple on top to add to the juicy patty. The spam Little Big Bite is nothing more than a Hawaiian bread-like roll, mayonnaise, and a brick of spam in the middle. It may sound weird/gross, but seriously, they’re great. No matter what you order, you have to end the meal with one of their awesome desserts. The amazing peach mango pie looks like the normal McDonald’s pie, but the outside is like a fried wonton and the inside has warm gooey peach and mango filling. My favorite dessert has to be the Halo-Halo. Sort of like a slushie and milkshake combined, this frozen drink is complete with shaved ice, red and green jell-o, red and white beans, chick peas, coconut, and even with two ice cream scoops and a cube of flan on top. Again, it may sound weird to some, but it’s heavenly! While Jollibee may not be as easily accessible as Jack in the Box or Taco Bell, the handful of locations scattered around Southern California are worth the trek from whatever ‘hood you call home!
