Johnny Was

So I’ve come to realize that I generally post 1 star reviews of retailers (mostly for customer service) and have decided that I must, at least make the effort to reward above average experiences as well. The stuff in-​between, well that’s your JOB so you better be at least 3 stars. ANYWAY back to Johnny Was. I have been in this store many times and each and every time the sales associates and manager have been above and beyond pleasant and helpful. They have gone out of their way to find a size or color, or ship from the website. I shop online A LOT hardly ever go into a store, but this is one store I’m always eager to go check out, even if I end up buying online. I do find that customer service with many retailers has hit rock bottom, so keep up the good good work JW (and please take note from the customer with one star review, although I find this hard to believe it was YOUR store, it can happen)

I came here to browse. There was a certain charm and element that I don’t see often enough in Vancouver for boutique stores. It’s more about the vibe than it is about substance, very cool men’s clothing.

The absolute worst customer service I have EVER experienced. I walked past 3 people who worked there, not one person spoke to my friend or I, nor smiled. Just simply stared at us as we walked by and looked us up and down.
Needless to say, I walked out of the store empty handed thanks to the completely unfriendly staff!

I own and oparate a successful window cleaning in santa monica (valle window cleaning) i clean the window weekly. Happy customer. Does why the store window always looks great. They have some great fashion clothes. Great prices. The manager are very friendly.

Really cute shop, I’ve never heard of the brand before but they just opened one in Houston (highland village) on Black Friday 2014. The sales rep we worked with was fantastic — very helpful and nice. They have a wide assortment of goods, from perfume, to scarves (just lovely, they’re what caught my eye in the first place), and even clothing and books. Really cute boho-​chic style, which may not be for everyone but is definitely worth checking out. I
Great place if you like cute boutiques with bohemian style clothing and funky accessories. I didn’t end up purchasing anything, but my friend got a scarf, rollerball of scented oil, and a book, which is funny because I had to drag them in to begin with!

Its such a cute Boho Chic store, The interior is something I would want in my home. The quality of the clothes they have is wonderful and just adorable! The sales girls are all so friendly and helpful. And also in LOVE with all their scarves hanging from the ceiling. I want them all! I came here because my friend was wearing it and needed to know where she got her blouse. After seeing their website, I was hooked and needed to get a few for myself. I want my whole closet to be Johnny Was.

Just bought my wedding dress there (and I’m the bride). Seriously. Completely stumbled onto it by accident while exchanging the size of a coat I got as a gift from there. Very sweet, original style of clothing. Love the colorful belts there.

Great store. So glad to see the 1^st retail store from this brand and look forward to more.
The service was excellent. Danielle helped me finding sizes, finding new styles, etc. She was a delight and made shopping enjoyable. She consistently came to the fitting room to check on me and get me new sizes.
The product is diverse. Some more funky, some not so. Tops, dresses, accessories, etc.
So glad I ventured into this store!
