Just had a touch up with my favorite hairstylist ~ Jocelyn.
Truly, she is a professional. She is detail-​oriented, clean, always on time, skilled, smart, and a joy to spend an hour or two with. I couldn’t be happier with the service and quality I receive from her :) …I love my hair!!!

I endured a hair nightmare from another stylist — a very bad highlight job (that was supposed to be ombré, but wasn’t even close) and a bad, uneven cut — and went on a crusade to find the right stylist to fix it. I spent HOURS on Unilocal reading through hundreds of reviews and visiting many, many stylist’s websites. I go off my gut and wasn’t really feeling any of them. I gave up my hours of research at 3am, and started back up the next afternoon. Its not that I’m a high maintenance person or super picky, but I’m also in the «beauty business» and have many friends in the business as well, and I know what I like and what to look for (I’ve recently moved from Chicago and its been hard finding a new stylist after 7 years with the same person). By pure luck, I came across Jocelyn’s listing and my search ended immediately. I emailed her photos of my bad hair and she called and emailed me back within the hour. I was able to get an appointment very quickly which I was so happy and relieved about! From our first conversation on the phone I could tell how warm and personable Jocelyn is and I felt such relief and knew I had found the right person to fix my hair!
I arrived at Jocelyn’s beautiful home for my appointment and had such a great time. She thoroughly went thru every section of my hair and after studying the mistakes, tediously painted color back in to blend the colors to make it a true ombré. After a wash and blow dry, Jocelyn then went back and painted in bits of highlights where my hair needed the blending, and did balayage pieces around my face. Jocelyn is such a perfectionist and has such an eye for placement and color, and she was not happy until every piece of hair was just right. Needless to say, I walked in a mess and walked out feeling so beautiful and back to myself. I never realized how embarrassed I felt about my bad hair, which I lived with for almost two weeks, until I left Jocelyn’s home not feeling ashamed of looking so goofy, or paranoid that people were looking at my bad hair!
Since the other stylist who ruined my color also cut my hair, I asked Jocelyn if she could take a look and see what she thought. The other stylist had razored the ends of my hair and also used thinning shears to «create texture,» but my hair is fine and that method always leaves it looking fried, thin and whispy. Jocelyn knew right away I needed my layers to be cut bluntly, which has always worked best for me, and she was able to clean up the ends without sacrificing length. My hair now looks and feels thick and full of body. I’m always trying to grow my hair, but since my hair is fine, I have a hard time growing it out because the ends get pretty dry and an inch or two always have to be chopped off. I can already tell my hair is going to grow out nicely and I look forward to future cuts with Jocelyn! I’m definitely going to be bringing my husband to her too!
Jocelyn’s prices can’t be beat for the exceptional quality job she performs. She TRULY LOVES her craft! The quality of products Jocelyn uses can’t be beat either. Like me, she is very into all things natural. The color line she uses is my favorite (ammonia free), and the doTerra essential oils she uses are just AMAZING. I’m looking forward to buying and using them too!
If you’re like me, and have recently moved, or if you’re looking for a change in stylist, or need cut, ombré, highlight, or color correction (or all of the above as in my case!), do not hesitate to see Jocelyn! I have posted before and after photos so you can see for yourselves!

I am a picky person when it comes to finding a stylist, I want someone I can trust with my hair so we can do something fun and I know it’ll turn out great. That’s exactly what I got with Jocelyn and more. She’s incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about hair and especially color (which other reviewers had mentioned). She gave me the exact cut I wanted and then two weeks later colored my hair and gave me the «Hombre» color, which is darker on top and left the bottom lighter with a little bit of blonde on the front tips around my face. I loved my hair before the color and I LOVE it even more now with the color, she really made it pop and the color is vibrant but yet subtle as the dark to light colors flow so beautifully. This has to be the best color job I have ever had. She’s SO fun to chat with and she really makes the whole experience enjoyable. I would recommend her 100,000% to anyone who is looking for a great hair stylist, you won’t be disappointed.

Seriously? Best hair cut ever. For us guys it’s hard to find a good haircut that doesn’t cost a small fortune. Our options are usually limited to supercuts, the crazy barber who can only do old school flat tops or crew cuts, or a fancy salon with the aforementioned bank breaking price. Jocelyn gives a great haircut at a fair price and an incredible shampoo. I’m telling you she is the real deal and you’ll be very happy with the service, not to mention she’s a pretty cool chick to boot!

If you are looking for «your» stylist, look no further. Jocelyn is absolutely amazing, and extremely talented.
She is a stylist you can trust, and one that I know I will have for years to come. Every cut I get is always «the best one yet» (according to my husband), and I always walk out of the salon looking fresh and beautiful!
Not only are her cuts amazing, she is one hell of a colorist. Jocelyn took me from a beautiful brunette, to a glowing golden blond through highlights. The highlights look so great that people actually think I am a natural blond! I’ve had people, whom I’ve known for years, say «Oh, you get your hair done? I thought you were a natural blond»! (Hello! You used to see me with dark hair!!!) Jocelyn is a master — and she has the education and experience to back it up.
Jocelyn is warm, fun to be around, and is great to talk to. I always enjoy getting my hair done with her, and would recommend her in a heartbeat.
The salon she works at, Jackies, is really cute and filled with a friendly staff. You just cannot go wrong with Jocelyn.

I came to her for color correction. I had yellow & orange hair and she brought me back to a beautiful brown. She really knows the hair and is super friendly and knows what she is doing. She comes from the entertainment world working on set and working under a lot of pressure to get the hair looking the way it should look. She works by appointment only so i suggest you call her asap if you want beautiful color she is the gal!
She also did a nice hair cut on me got rid of all my dead ends and now we are on a path to getting my hair healthy and long and beautiful.
She also does makeup so if you are going to prom/​getting married/​special event she is the girl to call.
Call her and set up an appointment you will not regret it… I PROMISE!
