This food court is kinda amazing. If it were closer to where I lived, I’d come here like every wknd. First off, the food court offers options options options. Given that, this particular place in the far corner of the food court is the best in my eyes. They offer relatively traditional korean fare — mostly soups, stews, and simple dishes(not necessarily bbq plates; although they have those too). I usually get one of the specials — last time, I had the chicken yuk gae jang, a spicy broth soup with pieces of chicken, green onion, mung bean sprouts, and some noodles. It was delicious and worth the 8.95 =) The only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is that they are a bit slow. They didn’t call my # out until way after others had called their customers(ie, if I had gone to another stall, I would’ve had my food already).

Not very impressed with this place. Tried the broiled mackerel and the fried mandoo. The fish was alright but nothing exceptional, you can buy yourself a piece of fresh blue mackerel from any market in K-town for like $ 3 and just throw it in a hot pan at home and it will taste better. The dumplings were also nothing to write home about. The skin was too thick and the filling bland.

I had their dolsot bibimbap and it was not good at all. I find bibimbap to be like one of those staple dishes that is really hard to eff up, well… you still can. My friends enjoyed their food, but this was my experience. The staff was really nice and the portions are legit even though I thought for a food court place, it was a little pricey. The banchan was OK, but man I wish that bibimbap was better. It looked SO good, too.

My go-to place for kalbi tang :-) I tried the spicy cod stew once — too spicy and too many bones for my taste. Took my mom and a sister there once — they had the dumpling soup and bibimbap respectively and professed to enjoy them. Prices are a little more than some of ther other places in this food court, but the portions are very generous, the quality is good and everything is cooked to order. The order-taker/cashier lady is very nice.

This is one of the many restaurants inside the food court in Koreatown Galleria. I’ve tried almost everything on their menu. Best imo: GopChang JunGol(spicy intestine stew) BiBimBap Ganjang Gehjang(uh. raw crab in soy sauce mix?) Oh jing uh Bok Geum(spicy calamari with vegetables) They’re a bit pricey. but they ARE in the food court… and I think it’s worth it x] Everything on the menu comes with a bowl of rice(unless you order dumplings). some sides and soup in a tray(very cute and yummylicious).
