Very expensive dog shit food. Not only that, they fucked up on the order and there was a piece of plastic in the burger. French fries all burnt. Soda tasted like water. Worst burger place in the whole world. seriously. Theres a reason why they dont put prices on the menu screen. so they can charge you up the ass at the window for the shit they are going to serve you. Never going again.

People here just can not get an order right. I ask for one thing and they give me an other. If I was wrong when I ordered why the hell did they change my order so quickly? But they tried to lay blame with me. Just found out that this place is cooking it’s french fries with lard. Do Not Let the Mexican Lady Take Your Order. And Make Sure That You Double Check Your Order!!!

This place is way too expensive for what it is. I went there for breakfast with my friend and the total came out to about $ 25. She got chilaquiles and I got an omelette and 1 coffee. The service time was a bit slow. The ingredients are not that expensive so I don’t know why they charge that much. At other places they charge about $ 12 for the same thing. The portion sizes are average with sides. As far as flavor goes once again it was average. I have had much better. Simple recipes and simple ingredients should not cost this much!!! I would not come back here again.

This feels like a Mexican fast food masquerading as an American diner based on architecture and menu offerings. It has American breakfast fare coupled with some Mexican influences. The architecture really is unusual, but once you get in, the booths inside are comfy and it’s welcoming. I chanced upon this place, because of my serious need to use a restroom. Fortunately this place was open at ~8am and saved me from an unhappy incident. I thought I’ll grab some breakfast here anyway. It’s diner food, but I’m surprised by the friendly service, and what I had was very good in addition to being a tremendous portion. I had the breakfast burrito with mixed meats — and with their salsa — it was delicious gluttony. Also tried some of my friends’ bacon, egg, and cheese omelet. Better to stick with the breakfast burrito.

Awesome place. I live 2 blocks away from here and I rarely eat here but when I do, you can bet I get my money’s worth. I love the burgers and they give you fries for days, unlike jack in the box and McDonald’s. It’s worth the price.

The hamburgers are good here; the only problem I have with this place is that menu has to many things they need to keep it simple. They also need to remodel and clean up the inside of this place today was my first time eating inside the tables have graffiti all over them the place overall this place needs a make over.

This is your typical local East Los charbroiled burger joint. Nothing exciting or amazing, but the food is damn pretty good. The burgers are tasty and I especially love their fries. They’re a great balance of crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. :) Oh, and $ 1 charge on credit card payments.

9.50 for a tuna sandwich and fries no drink? No thanks rather go somewhere else. I’m all about trying and supporting family businesses but with these prices id rather stay at McDonalds. Thanks

I usually only have lunch at this place when I need to grab something to eat quickly but today I decided to grab a breakfast plate and I was surprised at how delicious the plate was for being a fast food place. I ordered the French Toast combo with bacon(instead of sausage). Man did that hit the spot. If you come to this place often and have not tried it or if have never tried this place I suggest you do. Pictures to come.

After grocery shopping at Food-4-Less in Boyle Heights, my wife and I came to Jim’s Burgers couple of blocks from Food-4-Less. This is our first time at Jim’s Burgers we didn’t know what expect how the food will be. When we arrive at the restaurant, first the restaurant looks like advertisement frisco menu in and out of the restaurant. They have up to 50 combos or less I told my wife. We look at the menu it was big but it was hard to decided what to order. Finally we decided what to order my wife order the hamburger combo and I order the sourdough hamburger it’s looks like a hamburger but in a different way. We sat down and wait for our food and look the surrounding of the restaurant it looks like it been remodel many time. They brought our food to our table our food looks really good especially my sourdough burger it look so good. The sourdough burger was cut in half. I took a bite wow the sourdough burger was really good, the bread was toasted nice on the flattop with butter I really enjoy it. The tomatoe, lettuce and the thousand island dressing combine together was amazing. The one thing is missing is the pickles next time I ask for pickle and cheese. The fries were crispy and hot and come with thousand island dressing dipping them in the dressing they were so good. Overall we enjoy the food at Jim’s Burgers, we need to try different items on their menu.

I would nominate this location for Ugliest Restaurant in Los Angeles. I suppose the hideous architecture attracts attention, and customers, but I’m sure it repels as many. The food is nothing special, typical charbroiled burgers with shredded lettuce. Definitely no place to take company, but it might serve you well if you’re working in the area and need some place to stop for lunch.

Excellent customer service. Hamburger special. Dine-in meal brought to table. Without asking, server brought ketchup, chili peppers, extra 1000 island dressing. French fries have seasoning salt. I do recommend!

Customer service is great! It can get hot inside due to the grill. Was going to get an omelette with bacon, avocado, spinach, and cheese but it came out to $ 13.47?!! So I said no thanks and got a breakfast burrito half bacon half sausage. It was a reasonable price and was huge! This is a good burger spot.
