When my family was going through a rough time JFLA was there. The don’t judge, they don’t criticize, they only help. I’m so glad they’re going strong after all these years!

Years ago, the Jewish Free Loan Association in San Francisco helped us pay a suddenly spiked tuition for my husband’s school. We had nowhere to turn and they loaned us enough to pay tuition. A couple of years ago, a family member fell on hard times and needed financial assistance in Los Angeles. At our suggestion she went to the Jewish Free Loan Association of Los Angeles and received enough money to help her survive very rough financial times. This is truly an amazing organization and this is why we support organizations such as this whenever we can. We are truly grateful.

JFLA provides zero interest undergraduate and graduate loans to those that have a need. Repayment starts right away at low amounts and increases post graduation. This is even a better deal then subsidized government loans, because the subsidy expires post graduation. JFLA loans are zero interest until they are completely paid off. The staff is very friendly, the process is transparent. They is a website you can check your loan and payoff amount. One of the best community services I have EVER used.

The Jewish Free Loan Association has been enormously helpful to my family and me. While I was an undergrad about ten years ago, they made a loan to my family to help finance my education, which helped us out a lot. Now I’m a graduate student and receiving another loan from JFLA, and it’s helping me keep my head above water at a very expensive school. They’re a pleasure to work with and I’m so grateful for their assistance.
