My favorite building in the Los Angeles Jewelry District. Right in front where I work, I can see this magnificent architecture everyday through my office window. No doubt, this is the original Warner Brothers building, built in the 1920’s. Before the movie industry moved to Hollywood. You can still see the carvings of «Warner Brothers» on the marbles at the top of the building. A theater turned jewelry stores, now it’s full of jewelers, from retailers to repair guys and wholesalers to gemologists but the identity of the building is still there. Looks haunted but that’s why it’s my favorite. Like the soul of the Great Gatsby lives here. Historic. I’d love to see this place become a theater again. :)
