Maryam is such a sweet person. She is very good at taking care of you and really wants to earn your business. She’s very competitive with pricing, and I sincerely enjoyed my facial! The 4 stars is due to the fact that I prefer hard wax to wax strips. She uses the conventional waxing method, and I just prefer the hard wax I’ve been getting for the last 2 years. I would definitely consider her again because of her customer service but I would be a customer again positively if she used hard wax.

Maryam is absolutely wonderful. Her treatments are reasonably priced and make you feel and look wonderful. I have known her for over ten years and absolutely LOVE her products and services. Definitely a place you should try!

I’ve been going to Maryam for a couple of years now for waxing and she’s a very kind lady!
I wanted to mention the reason people said the neighbourhood was sketchy is because it was — and then she moved. So the comments were for her original location and now she is off Motor, which is a better neighbourhood. I think someone said in another review they didn’t understand what was meant by that but she probably only ever went to the Motor location since her review is from 2014.
Anyway, Maryam will put you at ease. It’s not a fancy place so if you’re looking for a Burke Williams experience, you won’t get that here. But she’s efficient and sweet and the pricing it right :)

Maryam is lovely and does a great job! Quick and clean. I got her on a lifebooker deal and haven’t been anywhere else since.
I’ve seen a couple reviews about the neighborhood being sketchy, uh, you guys need to get out more. There’s nothing bad about this neighborhood at all. It’s Culver City for goodness sake. People get tickets for jay walking over here. The salon is in a building. Lots of street parking. Def go to Maryam. She’s awesome.

I went to Myriam for YEARS and she does such amazing work. She is so gentle. The enzyme peels are SO effective and totally changed my skin. IF you have Acne… THIS is a game changer — safe and subtle… you have to try her, seriously. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

) & bought a certificate for eyebrow shaping. I am so glad I did because I finally have a place I trust and can go to to have my eyebrows professional done for a great price!
Maryam is so great, she was professional and made me feel comfortable right away. She knew exactly what to do with my eyebrows and shaped them in a way that I love. I had only gone once to a professional place years ago & they messed up my eyebrows & made them look terrible, so I was hesitate to try any place but I am glad that I took the plunge and tried again because I love how they look now.
Parking– Make a turn on Nebraska & park in the huge lot in the back & you can find the entrance through the parking lot.
