International Silk Flowers

A great hidden gem for authentic looking flowers that won’t break your bank! A some of the reviews have mentioned, it is located smack-​dab in the middle of Skid Row — which can be a bit unnerving. However, there is a free parking lot behind the store (a rarity in DTLA) so you only have to walk around the corner to enter. Once inside, the selection is truly incredible — a huge variety of florals at a great wholesale price. Before visiting International Silk Flowers, I went to Jo-Ann’s to compare prices, and saw that prices were high considering the low quality arrangements. I ended up buying two large rose bouquets, several individual strands of cherry blossoms and miscellaneous wild flowers and a large bag of stem filler for just under 30. I highly recommend this shop — just brave the questionable location and you’ll come out with an amazing deal.

In all fairness I didn’t go in. I had a 10% off coupon and not a one of us felt comfortable getting out of the car, let alone walking down the street. There are tents lining the street in front of the store where people are living. We took our flower needs further down the street where we felt a little safer.

Wow! I really loved this place. The location isn’t the best, as it’s smack dab in the middle of skid row, but hey, if you want a good deal, you’ve got to dig around. They had so many great choices for silk flowers that look real. I am happy I found it or I would have ended up paying more for that same thing at Michael Levine’s store. I wish the staff would be more helpful with assisting customers with building bouquets and flower selection. I’m sure they would sell even more flowers. If I didn’t have a picture of what I wanted with me, I would have been totally lost. *Tip* Be sure to know exactly what you want when you go.

This place is great! I come here regularly to buy flowers for my floral design hobby. They have such a great selection of flowers, ribbon, and décor that you most certainly find what you are looking for here. These prices are very reasonable and if you buy in bulk, they give you a discount. The staff is very nice and always provides customer service, I also like this location because it has easy parking with a big lot. This is also a great place for brides who are looking to save money on their bridal flowers, the flowers are much less then at a craft store like Joanns or Michaels.

There’s a HUGE array of flowers here, it was a bit overwhelming walking in. I decided to go with silk flowers for my wedding because I wanted dark blue roses and I figured that getting live ones would be super expensive. Also, I love that I can arrange these way in advance– less stress day before the wedding.
Anyway, my experience here was pretty good. I just wanted to browse around and I picked out what I liked and took them to the front. It was hard to tell who worked there and who was a customer, as it just looked like there were a bunch of people talking. I finally found a guy who worked there. He seemed like the owner or manager. I asked him if he had any more of a particular flower that I found in a bin. He left and returned shortly with a bunch more for me.
I paid 50 bucks and I got more than enough flowers for 2 bouquets, 2 bouttonieres, and 3 tables. GREAT DEAL!

Great place. Big warehouse with silk flowers, plants, branches, glass vases, pots, crystal lighting accessories, and gift accessories. All varieties of silk flowers and plants at reasonable prices. Parking behind the store. 5 stars because I found two beautiful potted silk plants that would have been twice as much at Michael’s.

I needed to pick up some Silk flowers for a friend who opened a store. We went downtown to search. After checking out 4 silk flower companies, we ended up at International Silk.
They have a Huge selection! Huge warehouse! ! The quality of their product was the Best we saw!
I was totally amazed at how reasonable the prices were! I have bought some flowers from that huge craft chain I won’t mention… I ended up with twice as much for ½ the price! UNBELIEVABLE! To top it off… The people who work there are very friendly and helpful! Great quality, Great Price. I left downtown a happy camper
