It was my third time there and I’m still pleasantly surprised at the deliciousness and freshness of the food. I had a touch time finding the place on my first try(it’s inside Jon’s market). I was skeptical because of its location but the food was incredible. I’ve had the koobideh kabob with sangak bread each time. The kabob is cooked over open fire to order. The owners have been courteous and helpful each time. Worth a visit if you want a casual middle eastern meal.

My husband and I love this place! I don’t know how we discovered it, but it was definitely love at first bite. My husband had the chicken burrito – it was Mexican with a Persian kick. I had the Koobideh – and it just melted in my mouth! I can’t even count how many times I’ve been here in the past month. But I can guarantee that it’s been more than 3 times.

I love the food here. They always use fresh and healthy ingredients and the service is great! The prices are VERY reasonable considering the generous portions you’re served. Very popular spot around the area so expect long lines, but do not be deterred by the line… the food here is most definitely worth the wait. You can’t go wrong with the service, food, and prices at this place :)

I never come to Jon’s Market without going home with some Hawaiian chicken kabobs, that delicious rice with dill, some lentil soup and the cucumber dill yogurt. Sorry I know what I love even if I don’t call the dishes by their proper names. The staff is so friendly and will be happy to give you samples to try something new.

I’m so glad I went on Unilocal and found these guys! I didn’t know if I wanted Mexican or Persian food… well what do you know? This place has BOTH with some Greek too! You can’t go wrong coming here! The owner here is super friendly and makes his food with pride. I love that if you are NOT familiar with Persian cuisine, although I think you should… we live in LA. :p, come here! The cuisine is beautifully displayed so you know what you are eating! I see so many Middle eastern people ordering here, it must be good! With so many Persian restaurants here in the valley, you cannot simply be mediocre! Visit them inside the JONS!

A hidden gem in the valley and in a supermarket?! I shared #11 with my husband, which was more than enough for us. Everything was so delicious from the gigantic Persian bread and flavorful hummus to tasty yet moist beef kabobs. The bushel of fresh basil was the perfect topping for this heavenly combination. This order can easily feed 4 people, and it was under $ 20! Can’t wait to go back and try the chicken, another popular choice here.

Wow! This place is amazing and more people should know about this hidden place inside Jons. My wife and I shared Number 11 and let me say that it was delicious! More than enough for 2 people or one very hungry person. Fresh basil, grilled tomatoes, onions, moist beef, and classic hummus wrapped with that very addictive Persian bread made my taste buds light up. Great customer service and very affordable prices. Will definitely come back to try their other dishes.

This place is amazing, such a good vibe and really nice people that serve. The food here is fresher than any other prepared food section of seen at any grocery store. These guys have a legit grill inside this place, and I would highly recommend checking them out. Brian is such an amazing person he will make You want to return

These ratings don’t lie. I can honestly say the food(I had the koobideh and boneless chicken kabob) was quite literally the best kabob I have ever had. I live about 20 miles away from International Market Grill(it is inside the Jon’s on Sepulveda!!) but it is WELL worth the drive and they have surely won me over, not only with the food but also with their excellent customer service. PS: Their hummus is to die for!

This place is truly amazing. As a Persian guy with a love for my native food, I have tried relentlessly to find a quality restaurant that has a good combination of service and quality, and this place does not disappoint. Not only are the portions generous and of high quality, they also provide great service. I have eaten here a dozen times and the food is always consistent(can’t say the same about many other Iranian spots). Meats are always tender and the rice is fluffy and full of flavor. Great variety of appetizers/entrees too! I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! Do yourself a favor and try out this spot if you’re in the area!

International Market Grill is a delicious gem located inside Jons supermarket. This establishment is not one to judge from the outside. Though the atmosphere is no-frills, the food is the beauty you seek. When I’m in a rush and looking to satisfy my cravings for Middle Eastern food, I usually come here. This fast casual eatery serves terrific pre-prepared Persian, Greek and Mexican dishes at reasonable prices and good value. The dining area provides clean, adequate seating. Both the chicken barg and kabobs plates are excellent. The meat is fresh, well-seasoned and very tender. They’re cooked to order and come with choice of two sides. I usually get the basmati rice with my order, but I recently discovered baghali polo rice which is made with basmati rice, dill, and fava beans. OMG it’s so aromatic and scrumptious. I can devour this by itself. It cost a few dollars more, but so worth it and portions are generous. The side of shirazi salad(cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, parsley, salt and lemon juice) completes it. Made fresh daily and fabulous. Great service — the staff is friendly and helpful. If you’re a fan of Middle Eastern food, you definitely have to try this place. I haven’t had their Mexican dishes on the menu, but judging by other reviews and my past/recent dining experience, I will be back again to give it try! Review update to follow.

I love going here. It makes for a great lunch. Delicious meals from around the globe(although the globe has shrunk a bit in the last year… hence only 4 stars). You can get outstanding Persian food here, along with decent Mexican dishes, a variety of chicken dishes, soups and more. Persian meatballs and adas pollo rice(with dates!!!) can be a great dish. Staff is very friendly and personable. You can see that they care about the food and their customers. Get the Persian barg kabab for a true treat. Just as good as the local restaurants but at a reduced cost.

their Koobideh… wow…best I have had by far. This place gives great portions and isn’t so expensive so definitely getting bang for your buck. The owner explained that he grinds his own meat and you can definitely tell that from tasting the food. Normally when I order Koobideh at other places, the restaurants will usually overcook the meat, but this place gets it just right. Not to burned not too raw. I came and got a number 1 combo under the persian section. Dont forget to ask for the white sauce as well. Its like icing on the cake. This place doesn’t just have delicious koobideh, they also serve greek, mexican, Italian food(hence the name international market grill) they also have great daily specials. Place is inside Jons Supermarket to the right of the market. definitely a place i would recommend to someone and definitely coming back here

This Place is surprisingly good for a place hidden inside of a Jon’s supermarket. We always call ahead and order our meals on the phone. Persian food is the main thing we get here. They have really good Beef and Chicken Koobideh. My only gripe was they gave alot of rice but no small salad in their more expensive combos. I figured since we were paying more we should get the same small salad as the cheaper one but not really. Everything did taste great though so I would definitely be coming back.
